I have never been to Anthony's at night and this is my first Wednesday night and the place is full and buzzing with energy and you have to hunt for a parking spot. I'm writing because this is my first epic experience and I mentioned it because the service was spectacular and the spectacular server mentioned he was a supervisor... he should be promoted to training management at all locations because he is OUTSTANDING!!!! The pizza was delicious as usual and the vibe was super fun and lively but the supervisor is outstanding and should be recognized by corporate and his name is Ricky.... Had a great time! Amazing margherita pizza! My husband and I went out to eat here on Saturday around 3pm. We got seated right away. Our waiter was very good, the service was quick. My husband ordered Tito's peach lemonade vodka drink at the waiters recommendation and he said it was very good. For appetizer, we got the garlic knots, they were very delicious. I wanted the margherita pizza while my husband wanted pepperoni, so we got a pie of half of each. It was super delicious. I love their margherita pizza, if you are ever stopping by, definitely try it. Overall, the place was clean, the staff were quick and polite, and the food was delicious. In my opinion, Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza is one of the best chain pizzerias. Their pizzas are consistently great. I usually order the Margherita and house salad special. It never disappoints, I did not even have time to take pics because the pizza got attacked as soon as I got home. The service is usually very good and today was no exception. Let me start by saying this review has nothing to do with the service or food. It has everything to do with the incompetence of the managers... I invited my family (22 people) to join me on my birthday (a Monday- it was empty) at this popular chain restaurant. When I called to make the reservation, I made it for 7:30 and later called to add a few more people when the gentleman who answered told me "you know, we close at 9:30". Weird. But anyway, our server was attentive and food was the same as always. My aunt gifted me a large and full beautiful blue orchid plant and I accidentally left it behind. I called the next morning and asked if I could pick it up. The gentleman tells me "oh they probably threw it away". I'm sorry- what? He puts me on hold to "confirm" and comes back to tell me "oh yeah it was thrown out." I asked for speak to the manager and he said he was the manager, Jean.. I then asked him how he could let that happen. He had no explanation for me except that "they just don't keep that. So yeah it was thrown away". You know, at this point it's not about the plant. It's the absolute ZERO compassion or even I'm so sorry. How could we make this up to you... nothing. My husband called later hoping to speak to the night manager- Mario Bonilla. He then tells My husband "if it's not an expensive item like sunglasses or a purse, we toss it". Again, ZERO compassion or apology. You know what- it meant a lot to ME. To me, it was worth more than a pair of glasses. How sad.. I'll be staying away from here. I should've gone to a locally owned place... where the customers come first. read more

Anthony's really disappointed me this pass weekend. It was all issues with the service and the over all experiences. Basically everything was horrible. Our waitress was Terrible and definitely needs work. She basically forgot about us. Forgot my wifeys salad, never refilled our drinks and we never got the chance to ask for napkins at the table because she was kidnapped or lost. It was bad. However the pizza was at-least good. Also we arrived to the restaurant first and the hostess decided to skip us and sit the family behind us first. Great!! I hope they improve their service. Because I was annoyed having to wash my hands in the restroom because our table didn't have napkins. Oh and PS, my wife refuse to eat because your service was so bad. I love this pizzeria, the pizzas are coal fired so they have that nice crunch to the edge of them. I have ordered in the restaurant and take out and both have been very fresh! As a life long SoFL native I have listen to Anthony on the radio for years on a very popular morning show. I believe that Anthony would not put his name on a product that did not hold its own weight. We ordered a cheese pizza, garlic knots, a cesar salad, an eggplant appetizer, chicken wings and peroni draft. I can say the high point of this feast was the quality of products ACF-Kendal delivers. The lettuce was fresh, cold and crisp with the perfect amount of dressing. The wings were cooked to perfection, not dry or undercooked. The eggplant and marinara sauce was a show stealer. Well seasoned and cooked perfect. The garlic knots were a hit with my youngest child and the pizza was created by artist in the back. The food was so good I wanted an encore and order cannolis and an expresso. It's living at its best! I had the pleasure of being served by Nicole the lead bartender and met Mario the Kitchen Manager. These profesional know how to handle a dinning establishment. The experience they conducted left me wanting to bring my family back for a celebration. That might not mean much to some but in my family, my father is a retired gourmet Italian chef. It's a challenge to take him to enjoy a meal out. This place will definitely past the test for those hard to please food connoisseurs. Key notes: The restaurant was very clean and organized. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. We were a group of 22 people celebrating my wife's birthday at Anthony's. The night should've ended on a high note -- but instead, we left with disappointment. My wife accidentally left behind a flower that was gifted by her aunt -- something meaningful, not just decorative. We called the next day, only to be told it had been thrown away. What really shocked us was the manager's response. He said if it were a pair of expensive sunglasses, they would've kept it -- but not a flower? That lack of compassion says everything. She just continued to stand outside kinda holding the door probably still on her phone for a bit. After finally coming inside she tells us "can you sit at the bar?'" My husband said "we'd prefer a table if it's available". This lady made another face at us and said no. We understand it was a busy night, but she couldn't even give us a wait time. Like I mentioned earlier we would not have minded a wait, we have probably waited longer to get a table at Flanigan's than we would have waited here. Visited on a weekday for dine in there was no wait! Seating offered in the dining room area and bar seating offered as well. We ordered a large pizza, buffalo wings, garlic knots, and a side caesar! The caesar was bigger than expected so can definitely be shared between 2! The pizza was amazing and they do cook all their pizza, "well done" so if you don't like thinner well done crust might not be your fave but it was delicious! I absolutely love this establishment that I've been eating at for so many years. They have deals every Wednesday which is a $10 cheese pizza that is amazing. Used to love this restaurant, but quality has gone down since they were sold off to burger-fi, and the management team is an absolute mess. I placed an order for delivery and received the wrong items, (this is the second time this happens to me). I called them and the solution was that I had pick it up. I've done this before and it didn't bother me but this time around I was very sick and couldn't leave my house. I had to have a family member go pick it up for me, however i had already paid over $15 in delivery fees and a tip to the driver that showed up with a salad instead of my order. The last time this happened I was given a free pizza without having to ask for it. This time around I asked the manager (ROY) how he could make this situation right, he said he'd refund part of my order, needless to say he didn't, I reached out the next day and then again a week later and he was impossible to reach. Very disappointed at the lack of customer service, Roy's incompetence is unacceptable. I will never eat here again. read more
