My daughter truly enjoys the class and intends to turn her room into an art studio. Tami, the owner, is a wonderful art teacher and truly great with kids. If we have, it was definitely years ago LOL. It was cool that they had a small bar and drinks were a reasonable price! Our initial impression was that we were kind of anxious, considering our lack of experience, short time frame, and complexity of the painting. However, Heather (our instructor) began the session by explaining that if it's easier for us to just paint whatever we want or not paint at all, that would be fine. We weren't going to do that but having the reassurance made us feel so much more relieved! It was very easy to follow along the steps and it was actually really fun for our group! Towards the end, we did feel rushed because we were past the session and have not gotten to the last steps, but Heather was able to quickly run us through them and then when she finished, we were still free to sit for a bit to finish up the painting. The experience was very enjoyable for my first time here and even though my painting wasn't the best, I would definitely come back!

It was so cute how it was setup, the drink selection was great and I absolutely love that you can bring your own snacks. There were 4 of us so they let us sit on the end and even let us use a side table for all of our snacks. The painting experience was okay, our instructor was soft spoken so it was hard to hear from the other side of the room. Being on the other side of the room also made it harder to see what the instructor was painting. At some points the instructor would stop giving instruction and would just be focused on her painting so we had to just use our own picture reference. She was still sweet and came to check in a few times. Towards the end she came and helped us clean up our pictures or give us some pointers.

We hosted a team event at Canvas & Café, and within three hours I genuinely felt like I had made a…read morenew friend in Deepa, the owner. I didn't know her before this, but her warmth and humor created such an easy, welcoming vibe. We painted on tote bags -- and I am usually the "not artistic" friend -- but Deepa made it so simple, fun, and pressure-free that I ended up completely absorbed in it. My whole team loved it, and everyone walked away really proud of what they created. Food was perfect and low-lift: pizza from Curry Pizza House and apps + salad+ kebabs from Falafel Tazah, all set up seamlessly so we could just relax, paint, and talk. Most importantly, it gave our team the kind of genuine bonding time that's rare. People laughed, shared, and actually unwound -- no forced activities, just real connection. This was all of our first time, and we really enjoyed it from beginning to end. We had a blast! Not only do they provide wine and snacks but you can also bring your own which we did. There were several tables with each canvas on an easel with the pattern penciled on the canvas. You get a palette of different colors and a water bowl to rinse your brush. You are offered to use additional brushes if you choose. When you're done with your masterpiece, you may add embellishments such as glitter to seashells. Kimberly was fantastic! She was very welcoming when we came in. She lead the class with lightheartedness and humor. She encouraged you to be creative. She showed us how to blend the colors to produce different hues. Kudos to the manager who rounded up an office chair for me from somewhere as they only have barstools to sit on in the studio which I can't use. In 2 hours, we all had a painting to take home. Nothing was varnished and they don't offer to ship items.
