The staff did a great job at decorating the space and making this outdoor concert feel like an intimate experience. The table setup made the crowd feel like they're apart of a community. At sunset, this winery has stunning views of their vineyards. The concert was great. Pasquale is a resident guest of the winery and has a phenomenal voice. The food offered (chicken marsala, sausage and peppers, and balsamic vinegar dressed salad) was underwhelming. The selection was limited and food was cold. By the time I got to the food table, they had run out of the sausage dish. The wine selection was very good though. I particularly liked a few of the white wines offered during the event. The staff and servers were all friendly. It is apparent they all enjoy working here. The donation-pushing felt a bit tacky, however. During the entirety of my visit, I felt like I was being asked to donate (at the table, during dinner, before and after the performance). Of course their cause (providing music lessons to children) is incredibly important and has left a clear impact on the program's students, but it ended up taking away from my experience (especially considering the high cost of the concert tickets). Side note: the parking situation is challenging. There are very few handicapped parking stalls with a tiny lot. On concert nights, parking is located across the road at the neighboring high school. If you are visiting with anyone that has mobility issues, definitely come early to secure close parking. If you get the chance to see a Pasquale Esposito concert here, I would definitely go!

Heidi was a joy to work with and I feel we've been become friends through working together. =) Our Baby Shower was on a Sunday, and since there was no events the Saturday before she let us in that event to set up. I can not tell you how much stress that took off our shoulders. We were able to take our time and not worry about it the morning off. Since my family is from out of town and we live in Gilroy, this really helped with the unloading and just overall timing of getting ready that day. PROS: - Food separate from party: My dad and uncle cooked using our own BBQ's behind the grange. We did buffet style tacos in the kitchen. I liked that this was separate was the party and it gave us more room for seating. - Tables and Chair included: The venue has plenty of rectangle tables and the comfortable plastic chairs (not the metal chairs). - Side room: perfect for kids! I made custom coloring pages and put some toys in there. There were a lot of kids there but I hardly saw any of them because this room kept them occupied. - Frig: to keep cake and fruit chilled - Restrooms: plenty, never any wait time. - Cleanliness: the place was spotless when we arrived, very pleased with the cleanliness. - Parking: on site for the event, and plenty around. - drinks: with the one day event insurance we were able to bring in our own beer and wine. No bar staff needed. CONS: - seats per table: the chairs and comfy because they are wider, but this means we were only able to fit 3 next to each other per side. This made my count of table/chairs/centerpieces off a bit as I planned 4 chairs per side per table. Not a big a deal in the end but something to think about if your tables plan to touch like ours. -No A/C: we got lucky and it wasn't as hot as I thought it was going to be and there are fans on the ceiling and some floor fans. But as the girl of the hour running around I was so sweaty (probably cuz I'm also 31 weeks preg) but at least the guests were comfortable. I made paper fans for guest to use just in case. Overall, we will definitely be using this venue again!

When I arrived I met Carlos, the front desk representative. Once we realized what I had done, he took it upon himself to contact the third party that I used to secure my reservation, got on the phone himself and worked out my issue with the representative on the other end. It required much more of his time than he would have been expected to spend on simply checking in a guest. I needed to change hotels as our location site for work changed to a place more located towards…read moreGilroy. This is an IHG Holiday Inn Express, my usual chain I stay at while away from home. This location is super convenient to get to for freeway access. It just off the 101 at Dunne Ave. Turn north on Condit Rd and it right there on the left, next to a McDonald's. The only food around here seems to be fast food chains, so you might have to drive a little to get to real food. Check in was easy, no lost reservations or any other problems. My room was easy to find and the door key worked on the first try, amazing how many times that doesn't work! The room was clean and the WIFI worked fine. That's the first thing I check! Can't do work without that! The bathroom was clean and the water pressure was good, so there's endless hot showers for me! Coffee was available in the lobby as with most IHG properties. After a day of work out on location, I can use a shower and some coffee to get me through he rest of the day and evening. Now I gotta find a place for me and the crew to eat a decent dinner. At least the breakfast here is dependable, all about the same at all the IHG properties. It's a nice decent hot breakfast buffet, all you can eat, and a couple of guys on the crew can really eat! There's potatoes, eggs, omelet thingys and that amusing pancake making machine. Oh those cinnamon rolls are the best, the one thing I look forward to at Holiday Inn Expresses. So far a decent stay, just wish there was better food nearby.

This is such a cute and relaxing place to spend a weekend afternoon! My parents live in the housing…read morecomplex right next door so we strolled over to check out their $10 wine tasting. We both opted for the red wine tasting and appreciated the variety. There were one or two I didn't like as much, but I loved being able to taste such different wines. We also decided to splurge and share the white wine tasting. I loved their Rose and one of their white wines. We ended up buying a bottle of the Red Syrah and White Fiano as gifts for friends. What really took this place up from 4 to 5 stars was house hospitable and kind the staff was! Dana in particular was so warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in, asking how we ended up in Morgan Hill and congratulating us on our recent job offers. She even brought out some complimentary champage because she was so happy for our recent life changes!
