I attended a bluegrass concert/fundraiser here. The acoustics in the main performance hall were great! So much fun! And they had yummy BBQ and pie for sale. This place is a true community center, run completely by volunteers. You can also rent the hall for private events. Heidi is amazingly helpful and so kind to work with. The best venue I've EVER worked with. Conversations started in Oct/Nov for our baby shower in June. Quick, prompt and reliable replies with every question answered. Heidi was a joy to work with and I feel we've been become friends through working together. =) Our Baby Shower was on a Sunday, and since there was no events the Saturday before she let us in that event to set up. I can not tell you how much stress that took off our shoulders. We were able to take our time and not worry about it the morning off. Since my family is from out of town and we live in Gilroy, this really helped with the unloading and just overall timing of getting ready that day. PROS: - Food separate from party: My dad and uncle cooked using our own BBQ's behind the grange. We did buffet style tacos in the kitchen. I liked that this was separate was the party and it gave us more room for seating. - Tables and Chair included: The venue has plenty of rectangle tables and the comfortable plastic chairs (not the metal chairs). - Side room: perfect for kids! I made custom coloring pages and put some toys in there. There were a lot of kids there but I hardly saw any of them because this room kept them occupied. - Frig: to keep cake and fruit chilled - Restrooms: plenty, never any wait time. - Cleanliness: the place was spotless when we arrived, very pleased with the cleanliness. - Parking: on site for the event, and plenty around. - drinks: with the one day event insurance we were able to bring in our own beer and wine. No bar staff needed. CONS: - seats per table: the chairs and comfy because they are wider, but this means we were only able to fit 3 next to each other per side. This made my count of table/chairs/centerpieces off a bit as I planned 4 chairs per side per table. Not a big a deal in the end but something to think about if your tables plan to touch like ours. -No A/C: we got lucky and it wasn't as hot as I thought it was going to be and there are fans on the ceiling and some floor fans. But as the girl of the hour running around I was so sweaty (probably cuz I'm also 31 weeks preg) but at least the guests were comfortable. I made paper fans for guest to use just in case. Overall, we will definitely be using this venue again! read more

I just want to say Heidi is so Amazing, kind and helpful. We were in a pinch because our outside gender reveal was going to be in the middle of a storm that was coming through and literally last minute the day before I reached out to her she quickly responded and worked to help me secure this for my daughters gender reveal. It was so perfect! Tables & chairs are all provided, plenty of restrooms and nice vibe! This is a historical place from 1907, you just can't find these places anymore. I had my wedding reception there back n the 80's so this place means a lot to me. They are constantly trying to keep it up to preserve it and renovate it. I am donating $$$ to them for some renovations. I completely recommend "The Grange" for those who love the historical ambiance and a wonderful place to create memories. read more

GREAT VENUE! It is a hidden gem. I've lived in Morgan Hill for over 20 years and had never been inside...... that is until I rented it for a Celebration-of-Life event this past weekend. We had something like 130 people attend the event. The Grange has gone through some great updating over the past 8-10 years -- original wood floors were redone, painting and looking fresh inside, ceiling fans, window shades -- lots of light and windows, I might add. We loved that the eating area was separate from the kitchen. We hired a catering company to cook street tacos and set up a buffet in the kitchen, which worked out perfectly. There is another room where we set up a portable bar area for the beverages. Lastly, there is a nice foyer where we set up a memory table. Parking was easy, as the entrance to The Grange is right across the street from the MH Parking Garage. They have plenty of tables and 100 chairs you can use at no charge. We rented table cloths and additional chairs for our event. We used a Morgan Hill vendor that Heidi (manager) works with on a regular basis. In addition to The Grange rental fee, you have to pay cleaners to come in to do a thorough clean-up after you, because The Grange does have a kitchen that they cook in and serve meals from. We also opted to pay a little extra for the team to do all the tables and chairs set-up and tear down. Lastly, Heidi was great to work with. She had a lot of good ideas and was very flexible with us. BTW, Heidi works there about full-time and she is a volunteer. Nobody that works for The Grange receives a paycheck. It is nice to know that our rental fee goes to its maintenance and to support the many community activities that The Grange offers. I highly recommend this venue and if the need arises, I would definitely host an event there again. read more

We switched my daughters wedding from outdoor to indoor about 1 week away from Wedding date. Heidi made that possible. From start to finish we had a great experience working with Hiedi at Morgan Hill Grange Hall. She responded quickly and was always available for questions. The hall was very clean and sanitized up to covid regulations. This is a great place to have an event. Easy parking, convenient location, and great set up. Outstanding!! We rented this venue for my daughter's first birthday party. Heidi was wonderful to work with, and the space was perfect! Heidi was full of inspiration for our event, and generously shared her ideas and photos. She made sure that we were scheduled for enough time to fully set the party up, and everything ended up being perfect! Heidi is very passionate about raising money for The Grange, and generously volunteers her time in this role. We felt great about the fact that our money was going to such a terrific cause! We recently had our daughters sweet 16 here. Heidi who runs the place was amazing. She helped is out with so many things, gave us tips, and advice. She was extremely accommodating and has such a passion for this business. We had approximately 80 guest, catering company served in the kitchen area, dj on the stage dance floor and we had a photo booth in a side room. Parking was on site and there is a parking garage right across the street. If anyone is looking for a venue in the Morgan Hill area I recommend this place. read more

I recently held my sons 4th birthday party at the morgan hill grange and had the pleasure of working with Manager Heidi. She is very responsive and accommodating. The process to rent out the venue was smooth specially on such short notice. The main room is very spacious and the smaller room is an added bonus. The kitchen area is very open aswell. Everything was clean and stocked. I loved not having to worry about renting tables/chairs as they provide them. Being able to decorate the evening before was a huge weight off my shoulders. I honestly can't say how much I appreciate the time and care we received from Heidi. She went above and beyond in every way. We had a last minute celebration of life and she worked with us as well as helped us when we were running late. I was actually sick and was supposed to be the one setting up and she out of the kindness of her heart helped us. There are not many people left in the world like her anymore. Thank you so much.
