This is our second time dining in and for whatever reason today it's simply better than before. We have NO complaints about the food and our server Sarah was magnificent, not to mention the great people whom are there every day patrons. The establishment and all should be visited by more. Anyone near this establishment should take the time to enjoy GREAT FOOD,SERVICE,GREAT CONVERSATION WITH FELLOW PATRONS AND SERVERS!

I really wanted a Tuna Sub today and my colleagues all told me I had to try Anthony's and of course I did. Upon walking in I was greeted by a young lady who had a bright smile and asked if I was dining in or placing a to-go order. I advised her I was getting it to-go and she met me around the counter. From the beginning I was happy as I had seen a review about the service and was ecstatic to see that there had been an enhancement. I ordered a 7" Tuna Sub and an order of Fries. It took a little longer than usual for a cold sub and order of fries, but as it was the lunch time of the day, I figured it was due to order volume. Let's talk the food! The fries were absolutely AMAZING. To my surprise they were crinkle cut which are my favorite. They were perfectly fried with the crispy outside and soft middle. They weren't greasy and they were very fresh. The tuna sub was a nice size and had a good meat to bread ratio. The tuna itself was very bland. It seemed to have no flavor additives at all. The tomatoes on the sub were very fresh and juicy, and the lettuce was crisp. Overall, for $7 it was a perfect fit for the price. The next time I go I will stay away from the tuna and try the pizza as I hear it is very good. I def recommend the fries if you love a good fry as I do. Oh, I almost forgot, the ketchup packets they provide with the fries really are a hit. The ketchup has a sweetness to it that Pairs perfectly with the fry. Geesh! Just talking about it, I want some more now. HeHe. Environment- 7/10 Service- 10/10 Food- 5/10 Price-

Disappointed. This was remade by a manager. She passed this out.

I ordered the pasta combo no meat add onions and mushrooms. Every time I order here I get zero service. Random by standards have to tell the front cashier/host that someone is there. Even if a server is standing off to the side, they will not say a word to me or even look up. The first order didn't have onions or mushrooms and this picture is of the second order. A manager named Holly made this and a manager named Tammy severed it out. I had to ask for napkins because it literally looked like soup before I left. This is an Italian restaurant when I picked up my order I thought I ordered a pizza. Why are the vegetables of pasta on the top of the pasta. What makes it worse is when I called back in I told Holly pasta_veggie_sauce-cheese. She deliberately put a sprinkle of vegetables at the top. The other manager Tammy pretended to not know that this is not how pasta is made nor has it ever been made like this any time I've ordered.

I had the Lasagna because it was Monday, and boy do I hate Mondays! Less Mondays, and more Lasagna! Am I right!?

This is the Oreo cheesecake. You can't have any; it's mine.

My recommendation is to Uber and then enjoy the square. I was meeting someone for lunch and this was in the middle from our destination. It had great reviews and pasta and was what I was craving. It's a small, warm and inviting little place. Service is fast and good. Menu is limited which is not a bad thing but enough variety. I absolutely loved my fettuccine. The pasta was made fresh and you could seriously taste the difference between fresh made and boxed pasta. The crème brûlée was on point and a great finish to lunch. I had plenty of left overs. If you're in the area, definitely stop in and get you some fresh pasta! This is located on the corner next to Queen Bee's Coffee shop.

Not my first time here, but it is my first review for them! This is really good pizza! (Is there…read morebad pizza?) very traditional, thin, Neopolitan style crust. Not huge, but two or three people could enjoy. (6 slices cut) I wanted to try something different so we got two and boxed the rest. Shelby greeted and seated us, and although she lacked a little knowledge on the beer menu, she made up for that with a trip to the bar to investigate our questions on sour beer, and came back with two excellent samples! We settled on a Dr. Robot and the Charcut-a-pie. I loved the toppings and balsamic drizzle. Goat cheese and arugula just go together. A little honey and I was in heaven! The crust on this one was a little well done, which disappointed but, the overall flavor was on point. Next, we sampled the Spicy Italian. I'm usually pretty good with spicy things, and while this was no exception, it did have both of us in a small sweat! If you are averse to spicy, stick with something else. This crust was also cooked and not over done. I'm not sure what McDonoughs' obsession is with vaults, but it seems to be a recurring theme around the square. You'll find vaults or at least doors that look like vaults all over. The rest of the decor inside and outside was well done. Exposed brick gives it immediate rustic charm, while black floors, raw wood art, and leather stools wrap the package nicely. I definitely like their lighting! Oversized bulbs hung around the pizza oven bar (which you can sit at if there's space) and giant hoop rings finish the rest of the space. It isn't that glaring light that spotlights your table, it's just a nice warm ambient light that makes you wanna pour a vintage red into a wine glass over and over. Oh! I almost forgot, they do have an outdoor patio up front, so on those less humid days and nights, I'll definitely be hanging out there!

I was in the mood for something good to eat, and I knew I really had to have something good that would satisfy my cravings. I needed hearty, seasoned, a good portion size, and great service. Sarah ensured we didn't want for anything, allowed us time to review the menu, and shared her insights on the new specialty menu items. Thanks to Sarah I ended up getting the Cheese Tortellini with Buffalo Chicken. Let me explain! I received the specialty menu, and my eyes immediately went to the Cheese Tortellini with Buffalo Chicken. I love Cheese Tortellini and I loveeeeeeeee Buffalo Chicken. Seeing them both together truly captivated me. Sarah advised that it has had nothing but good reviews, so I was sold and had to have it. The strip mall entrance and parking a bit of a challenge. Full review below: I went in Saturday afternoon. It was lightly busy but fully staffed so help/attention came quick. Dining solo so I opted for a seat at the bar. Bartender was super attentive. Didn't have to wait long for a menu or to place my order. Also, she regularly checked in on how everything was. I ordered the Yellow Diamond Martini ($15) and it was delicious. I got the fried green tomatoes (4 pieces) for $11.95. Complimentary very tall cup of water. The tomatoes were a little small so this is definitely an appetizer/light snack...which is A-OK for me. It came out shortly after my martini was ready. Overall, minus tip, it came to $29. Music was playing through a speaker but not too loud. People could comfortably have a conversation. There are multiple tvs throughout. I appreciated that some of them were showing stuff other than sports. One monitor, near the restroom, is devoted to Culturistic Kitchen content, which is smart. I did use the restroom. It's two stalls and two sinks. The non-handicap/ADA stall is tiny. I'm like a medium-sized woman who is 5'7 and even I was like yikes. When the place is busy/packed I could see a wait or a line for the bathroom. The one major downside...which is not Culturistic Kitchen's fault is that the strip mall is not easy to get out of and onto the main road (Jodeco Rd) especially if you're turning left. The parking lots for all the shops, which are great businesses, should be bigger than it is. Don't be surprised if, during peak times, you may have to park 1-2 doors down from the restaurant. Overall, I would go again. I don't go out to eat that often (there's food at the house ) but if I want a good cocktail and a light snack or try some of their regular food items, I would come again. More than likely, I'd choose an off-peak time because I wouldn't want to experience it at near full capacity but that's just me.
