Excellent pizza spot. Had the pleasure of meeting Nate. He was my bartender and he's worked there since conception. His recommendations were on point. I got the The Engineer by the slice for $7. Sausage, pepperoni, ham, black olives, jalapeños and mushrooms. The crust sent it over the edge as it was a garlic butter sauce. So delicious. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back and exploring the rest of the menu. Been eying the lasagna. The restaurant is open, bright, and it's right across the street from the railroad, which was very cool.

We stopped into Lovin Oven around 5:30 on a Friday evening, hoping for a quick bite before heading to an Easter service. It was pretty busy, but we were seated right away, so far, so good. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. Drinks (two waters and three kid cokes) took about 20 minutes to arrive, and our food came out even later. The mini garlic breadsticks and cheese bread hit the table around 6:10, and our two slices (The 1893 and the Lovin Spicy Southern) didn't show up until 6:25. For just two slices and a couple of apps, the wait felt excessive especially with kids in tow and a time crunch. The food itself was underwhelming. Nothing was bad, but nothing stood out either. Definitely not the "wow" factor I was hoping for when searching for a go-to hometown pizza joint for our family Friday nights. That said, the service was friendly and the place has a local vibe I really wanted to love. I just wish the food and timing matched the warm welcome. Still on the hunt for that perfect neighborhood pizza spot.

Forgot to take pics, but stopped there for the 2nd time on a road trip. Love the small town "old-time" downtown area - restaurant is in a cool old building. Salads are fresh. First time we visited I had a meatball sub and hubs had a calzone. Huge portions - both delicious! This time we ordered pizza by the slice - love that you can get a slice or two of any of the specialty pizzas on the menu rather than ordering a whole pie! The slices are large - one was plenty for me; hubs had two - we tried "The Engineer" and the "Margherite" - several pizza names are train-related - there is an old train station right across the street and the train runs by! Thanks to Christina for excellent service!! We'll be back when we're passing through again.

Had a couple of slices. Overall, excellent slices. Great flavor, good cheese, good crust, good sauce. Could've used just a little more sauce as it was just a hair dry, but that could be because it was a slice not a whole pie. The only thing I would suggest would be a little bit better bubble management. One of my slices had a huge bubble, but the slices were huge to start with.

We placed our order online which was easy to do. Once we arrived to pick up our food, we were greeted and assisted right away. We placed an order for cheesy bread in house. The service was great. They have in door and outdoor seat and plenty of it. The calzones were huggggeee! They were sooooo good. And the cheesy bread was very good as well! I can't wait to go back.

Great shop to stop in for a bite. Speedy service and nice staff. The au jus for the panini was full of flavorful and wish I had more. The bread was perfect for soaking up all the juice. Friends loved the pizza, but didn't personally try it so don't have much to say.

The food was very dry. I don't usually leave reviews but the pizza was not good. The pizza was mostly crust, they could have at least spread the sauce and cheese out more. The servers are very nice though the food on the other hand not my favorite. Also the sandwiches are dry. Maybe I just came on a bad day.

This is my favorite pizza spot on Locust Grove. They have local craft beer on tap, a great variety of pizzas and always great service here! It is in downtown locust Grove so you can park in the lot beside the train platform (out front) or in the back parking lot behind the building. This place is great for kids and they have an outdoor patio if that's your style.

It's a really nice pizza spot in Locust Grove. They have family trivia night on Wednesday's and the calzones are amazing. The calzones are also pretty big so you might be able to share it. Parking is limited in Locust Grove to try to get here early. They offer outside seating and have beers on draft or bottle. You can dine in or carry out and they make the food in the middle of the room basically. It was pretty cool watching the entire cooking process. It's kid friendly and fairly priced.

The Pizza is amazing, the staff are not pleasant or friendly, in fact quite rude. But the pizza is worth it if u want a take away.

Food was good. Our waitress had the personality of a washcloth. They were out of mushrooms. And the wait for the food took a long time.

Love this place! The locomotive and taco pizza are the family favorites. Eventually we'll try some other kinds but these are just too good!

Hands down the best local burger I've had in McDonough! Golden Grill serves up that classic,…read moreno-fuss burger flavor that takes you straight back to an old-school diner but better. The burger was seasoned perfectly, juicy, and cooked just right. GG's sauce? A game changer. Tangy, savory, and just the right kick it ties the whole thing together. The fries were golden and crispy perfection, and the wings? Crunchy outside, flavorful inside, with just the right amount of heat and seasoning. It's clear they care about their food and their customers. If you see the Golden Grill truck, don't pass it up this is comfort food done right. Service was quick and efficient.

**This is for their second food truck located in the BP gas station parking lot off exit-201**…read more My notes on this place are on the picky side, on the boarder of personal tastes...because they are putting in the effort of kicking out some good food. Everything that came out was freshly fried and made with well maintained toppings/ingredients. So no complaints at all there. Burgers-My only note would be to season the meat with some burger seasoning once it's on the flat top. The bun is perfect, the veg is cold, the sauces are saucy and you take a bit of it all looking for the juicy flavorful combo but the meat just misses that mark. It doesn't need much...just a little shake of seasoning to round it all out. Mozza sticks and mac&cheese bits...have no notes, they were fried to order and came out screamin' hot...dipped in GGs sauce or the White Sauce was perfect. Sauces- GG sauce is a mayo, sriracha and sweet chili sauce mix...there may be other things in it too, but those are the top 3. White Sauce is their take on an Alabama white sauce...but this one is less vinegar and more creamy because of the mayo. Little bit of heat, but not what I would call spicy. I-75 Loaded fries...were loaded up! How the fries managed to stay crispy for as long as they did-with all the cheese and sauce defies logic. The jalapeños make this dish on the hotter side, so if you don't like heat...you should order it without them-because they don't skimp on them. Honestly this could have done without the hot Cheetos-they didn't really add to it other than color and they got mushy quick. We also got the beefy/steak rice bowl, but it was for my husband's meal prep the next day. It wouldn't be fair to review based on him eating it a day later...so I'm going to leave that review out. We did see several people ordering it while we waited...so I'm thinking it's a favorite. It's a food truck-not fast food so we ended up waiting about 20 minutes for our order. The crew working it were all nice and our food was well packaged so we suffered zero losses. We will be stopping by and trying all their chicken options for our next round!
