I keep missing the buffet. I think I forget it's a buffet at a certain time. But I have been here a few times. I once did a takeout order of wings. Side note: The wings are better than any other wing place in the area. They are crispy and well-seasoned. Now, the first time I dined inside, I got the Chicken Alfredo and literally ate the whole thing. I have tried the spaghetti; the meatballs are huge, and the deep red sauce is a chef's kiss. But they are known for their pizza, and rightfully so. The crust is thin and flaky, and I think this is what makes the pizza stand out here; the toppings are good, as well as the cheese. But it's their pizza dough that keeps everyone coming back. Also, it's a quiet type of atmosphere; it's not your regular loud pizza joint, and the service is the same, too. read more

I guess taste really does differ. Someone else, who gave 5 stars, said they have an Italian grandma and are very picky about their pizza. I'm the same - for pizza and Italian food. I did not try the pizza, but the spaghetti and meatballs was just meh. I wouldn't order it again. The buttery dough balls - not knots, but basically the same thing - were solid. I might go back and try the pizza if I was nearby and craving pizza, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go here again. Bummer - really wanted to like this place. read more

Came here for the first time with my family. We met up with my son and his high school JROTC team who were visiting from Hawaii to compete in the U.S. Army JROTC Raiders National Championship. There were 46 of us total and this place was able to seat us instantly and take our orders. I don't recall what everyone got specifically, but I've seen "party pie" sized pizzas, pastas, and chicken wings come out. The largest pizza that they have which is the Party Pie is so big, I think it's larger than the Costco sized pizzas. My wife and I ordered the medium pizza and some mild chicken wings and it was more than enough for us. We didn't know what was delicious here so the cashier recommended the Chicken Alfredo. It was delicious and it actually tasted like Chicken Alfredo and the dough is so soft. The chicken wings were ok. You cant beat the prices. Coming from Hawaii, everything here is dirt cheap to us. The portions are huge and totally worth it. The staff here are very friendly and there are a lot of tables and chairs. They have a small little arcade at the back near the restrooms. The parking lot is huge and shared with other establishments. read more

This place didn't exist when I was growing up in Griffin. But I've tried the food one time before while visiting my parents. I decided to order their baked pasta and my sister ordered the personal size pepperoni pizza. Easy order right? We waited 30 minutes initially for our order and then had to wait another 15 for the pizza. They gave the pizza to another customer. Another customer that was already inside the restaurant eating! It wasn't even that busy for them to mess that up. That still baffles me to this day. And the employees didn't even realize it until I said something. The only reason why I'm giving them 2 stars is because; they gave us some butterballs. I had to drain the oil that my pasta was drenched in. I'm good on this place. read more

Food: 3.5 (Average Pizza but fresh) Customer Service: 5 (Shout Out to Alex) Inside: 4 (Organized & Clean) My coworker and I decided to stop here for lunch during one of our professional development and was pleasantly surprised to find quite a good deal for a lunch special. For $9 we were able to get the buffet (pizza and bread balls) with a drink for $6.99 and a salad for $3. The buffet had multiple pizzas with a variety of toppings including chicken. I did notice all the pizzas had meat and I don't care for meat on pizza so I made a request for a pizza with only veggies. Alex our cashier, was very helpful and put a request in for a vegetable pizza. When I asked about how long the wait would be (so I would have an idea when to come back up) I was told that it would only be a few minutes. Sure enough within maybe 5 minutes. Alex was kind enough to walk over to let us know the pizza was available. They also had these little bread balls. One with garlic sauce which was a little on the dry side for me since they didn't serve marinara with it but the buffalo bread ball was actually pretty good and I'm surprised that I like it. I still needed a sauce so I dipped it in the blue cheese dressing that was served with my salad. Generic salad but it hit the spot and none of the dressing are homemade which was fine for the price. The pizza was pretty good, it puts me more or less in the mindset of the type of pizzas that you would get if you were at CiCi's Pizza or Sam's but of course not as quiet as big as Sam's Club. The food had fresh ingredients and was freshly made. It was definitely worth of a quick lunch. The staff was friendly and it was extremely clean in the inside. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the Griffin area and don't want to spend a lot of money. read more

I was disappointed with the service here. I called in an order for pickup. When I went in to get my food and pay, I noticed the price was too high. I told the employee that the price on their website for the large pizza was several dollars less than what they were charging me. She literally said "it's not my fault that our website prices are wrong. That website hasn't been updated in years." Nice to know. You won't be seeing my face for years, if ever. p.s. Pizza is awesome! Very fresh ingredients and fluffy dough. You can actually see them toss the dough in the back so you know it's going to be great. The Greek salad had the right mixture of veggies and cheese. The large was enough for three of us to share. All of the staff are friendly, and the restaurant is very clean and spacious. I'd definitely come here again the next time I'm in Griffin. read more

Had been there once before and the pizza was good so we came back. Unfortunately it will be our last time! Ordered a BBQ Chicken Pizza XL $18 but it was nothing more than a cheese pizza with a few slivers of chicken and barely any bbq sauce. It was super doughy and overall just bland. My husband and I ate what we could and didn't even bother to bring the 3/4 of the leftovers home. The young girl at the cash register didn't even say two words to us and literally dropped the pizza off at our table without so much as a grunt. We won't be coming back. read more

A regular go to for us! Joey and his staff work extremely hard to make your order perfect and to keep the buffet stocked during lunch time. My favorite is the Betty Salad with butterballs! This is by far my favorite place in Griffin to get pizza. Joey Holden and his staff pride themselves on going the extra mile for their customers. My family and I eat there on a regular basis and enjoy the experience every time. We refer to this pizza as "crack" pizza because it is so addictive. We have been going to American Pie for several years, and it has never disappointed. The owner and staff are friendly and great, but it is the pizza that we can't get enough of. My favorite is the buffalo chicken, either pizza or as a calzone. My husband loves the BBQ bacon double cheeseburger and baked potato pizzas. My son sticks to the butter balls and cheese sticks...keeps it simple. We have also had their pastas, and they are good too, but the pizza wins out. I prefer their pizza to any other in Griffin, and wouldn't dare cheat on them. read more
