My family and I truly recommend this place! It has great pizza are go to is cheese and sausage n cheese, the wings are very flavorful especially the hot honey wings. We used to love this place. It used to be busy. That's not the case anymore. They have a new owner. First of all, I got my food and it took about ten minutes before my husband got his. My Philly Cheesesteak had no flavor. It tasted like they browned some ground beef and threw it on a hoagie. I knew when I took one look at the fries, they would not be good, but had to try them anyway. YUCK! My husband got lemon pepper wings that were just wings, as they had hardly any lemon pepper taste and no juice - very dry! But here's the WORSE PART: When we were done, the owner came to the table and asked how it was. As soon as I told him it wasn't good, he got an attitude! He said "what's the problem"? So I told him the fries were not good. He got all defensive and said they made them fresh there so I said, well then you need to change the grease. He smarted back that the grease was only 2 days old. I told him we would not be back and he walked off. Now I know why there only 3 customers there on a Sunday at 1:00. I got home with a very upset stomach and decided to google their health score. Well, if I wasn't already sick, I would be now. They got a 60. If I had known that prior, we would've never eaten there. I have eaten here several times while traveling through Georgia (as it's conveniently located to a hotel I stay at) and I have always enjoyed my meals here. I usually order the pizza (the Classico is my favorite) and while it's not the best pizza I have ever had, it's still pretty good and I enjoy it every time. Ahh!! The quest for good NY pizza continues. Everybody wants to use the New York name on their pizza place but nobody wants to follow the rules that the creation of a good New York pizza is built on. Let's deconstruct what makes a good New York pizza. Good New York pizza = A good dough. Must use a good Italian semolina flour....the texture of the crust must be a little crunchy underneath and soft on the top. And the dough must be stretched big enough so that the slices are big and can be folded. A good flavorful sauce and fresh ingredients. We ordered the large supremo pizza for our first visit. The good: Good fresh ingredients and a flavorful sauce. Nice waiter, thank you Corey you were great. The bad: The crust had the texture of a cardboard box, very stiff and falls apart when you attempt to fold the slice in half. So now we are eating nice fresh ingredients on a hard crust that nowhere near resembles any New York pizza from my days growing up in Brooklyn. But just like a lot of things in a southern state....they can get away with these things because a lot of people don't know any better. Had it not been for the bad crust and the long wait time to get our pizza this would have been a 3 1/2 star review. To go orders should not come before customers who are eating their meal in the restaurant! Really was not worth the extra time driving to Mcdonough, we could have gotten a similar pizza (slightly better crust) at Johnny's New York style pizza in Stockbridge. When I review places, I try to review them for what they are, where they are. Put Davinci's in NY and my rating changes. Put it in McDonough, Georgia, and it gets 5 stars. I'll stick to my usual approach and break down my review into various components - food (quality/quantity/temp), service, price, and environment. These each have various weightings in my quirky system that I could not explain to you if you asked. Actually I could but it would take a while. Food - 4-ish. fries were very good - hot, slightly cripsy, and lots of them for less than $3. Why fries? Ask my kooky wife. Eggplant parm - not bad. bread was surprisingly good. It was hot. As far as temp goes, everything gets a 5 - the salad was cold (not iced), the hot foods were hot and the drinks were cold. The pizza was hot but not spectacular. Price - for $22 bucks, we got a lot, and I mean a lot. We had a big small Greek salad, 2 orders of fries (again, please don't ask), a slice of mushroom pizza, a drink, and an eggplant parm sandwich. Really not bad. Environment - it was trivia night. Oh yeah, so are Tuesday, Wednesday, and maybe more. The trivia was abnormally loud. The MC was practically yelling. I'm from NJ and frankly loud doesn't bother me. This was well beyond loud. Stop yelling - PLEASE. Otherwise, it was comfortable. Everyone seemed to enjoy the place so they get a good mark here. I saved the best for last. Greeted the second we walked in the door with "sit where you'd like." It was fine in a weird way. Now, on to the good stuff and that made this experience really shine (I saw someone else agreed with me and mentioned him). This kid is good. I mean REALLY good. My wife agreed (and she's a big pain in the tuchas (ok yes, I'm from New Jersey)). He was SUPER polite but not phony. He was there when he should have been and left us alone when he should have. He showed up with the check at exactly the right time with offers of drinks to go. He didn't beg for tips like so many do (I decided to leave ~35% because he was that good). He was honest, cool, and worth asking for. Good job, Kevin. I hope the owners/manager pay attention and do what they need to in order to keep this kid. read more

The wings must be a popular commodity, because I dined in on a Tuesday and they were out during their trivia night. BUMMER! I ended up getting the pizza with meats and veggies. It took a while for the food to come out, but we were not disappointed. You can order a basket of fries or a half basket. I recommend the side as is if you are sharing, because it is more than enough. I really like the mild wings. I had them my first time there, and was sold on coming back. Which is what I am measuring up to for this pizza place if I already sound like a pizza snob. Toppings wise, they are pretty generous. Even willing to "let you have at it" when making your own. Slices for a medium come about to 6 slices. So enough to feed two men with, but nay on more than that. Crust, kind of feels like a pan pizza almost. Not really a thin crust I think. Overall, it's not a bad pizza, nor a great one. PBR specials are $2 for draft pints. TV's aren't mounted easily for the whole restaurant to view.
