I really do not like to write a negative review, especially a review about a local business, but i need to do this. Right off the bat, my call in order seemed to be difficult to the person who took my order. When i arrived, they was no A/C inside. It was like a steam room inside. the cashier told me that the soda machine needed cleaning so she does not recommend ordering a drink. I got my order home, Over $80 ! The pizza was a grease pit, the meat sauce was watery and tasteless, the meatballs had a foul taste. They give you a lot food, but the problem is that is terrible. I have ordered several times from this place but the last experience was the worst I've ever had any restaurant . I ordered a sub and there was absolutely no meat on it I had to take off the entire top part of the sub to make it one sub so it had a decent amount of meat on it . I cannot believe they would charge somebody $12 for something like this . My mozzarella sticks were stuck to the phone container and completely not edible . I've ordered from this place probably seven times never had a problem and I always get a sub or a pizza and this sub was ridiculous. Horrible! Stopped here thinking it could be an alternative to Kings Pizza (WV locations) The pizza wasn't appealing visually and tasted even worst than it looked. Saved it for my 6yr old and even she turned it down. What kid turns down pizza?! I'm not a fan of Little Caesars either but even their pizza is eatable. I recently moved into town after living in the outskirts, which was outside of delivery zones. Not long after moving in, I received a menu pamphlet on my porch from Anthony's Pizza. I had not tried their food before, and it felt great knowing I could now have food delivered to me. That's just what I decided to do. I was not in the mood to leave my house this weekend, so I placed an order with Anthony's Pizza online. The fact that they have online ordering is a big plus for me! I did not receive a confirmation email after I ordered (until it finally came through hours later), so I wasn't sure if my order went through or not. I was hoping it did. Sure enough, the delivery driver shows up at my door 25 minutes later. I couldn't believe how quickly my food arrived! The driver seemed friendly, and my pizza was still good and hot. I also ordered a Cold Cuts wrap. I thought all the food was fantastic, and I will definitely be ordering from here again. I hope my future experiences are just as great as my first one. read more

Their pizza is one of best. Order a pizza with olives, onions, and jalapeño peppers. One of the best fresh pizza stores in the area for sure. I usually order ahead of time so I have it when I pick it up. It's still hot when I get it so I know it's made fresh. The dough is nice and chewy with a consistently similar to papa johns. I literally had one of the worst customer service experiences of my life. I was quoted a delivery time of 30 minutes. The delivery driver came to deliver an hour and 15 minutes after I placed the order, making them 45 minutes late. They didn't bring the fountain soda that I paid $1.75 for and when I called I spoke to the "Manager", Christian, who offered me a two liter of soda or a $5 credit. I told them I'd take the $5 credit since a 2 liter costs $1. After he issued the credit he told me that they wouldn't be delivering out the soda that I paid for. So all in all he issued me a credit of $3.25 and never brought my soda. The food was soggy and cold when it arrived and they have no problem letting you know they don't care. I have spent a lot of money here, and no longer will. I hope you wont either. read more

I work in W.V so I knew about Anthony's before they came to hagerstown. My family loved there food and service especially within their first year of being here. Since then quality of the food has been slipping a bit. We were ordering from them frequently but a few weeks ago we noticed that the food wasnt the same. Chicken strips were thin and not meaty as usual, subs didnt have enough meat in them, which left nothing but 3 inches of plain bread on each end. I called and was promised a free sub for my inconvienence. Tried to retrieve it a couple of days later, and a lady said she didnt know what I was talking about etc. My family and I are through. Terrible experiences both times we've ordered from Anthony's. First time we tried ordering the associate would not let us place two separate orders to be delivered to the same place. He would not take our coupon because it was from the same phone order even though both orders exceeded $20 and were on separate credit cards. Second time we ordered, the driver did not show after 1 hour. We called back and they said they attempted to deliver but nobody answered the phone. We requested they come back out and provided a separate phone number. Another 40 minutes past and we didn't hear from the driver. We cancelled our order. After 2 failed attempts to order at Anthony's, I can only give them 1 star of 5 after never actually eating their food. read more

Service was average. My total was $5.09 thus, I handed the cashier $6.00. Without saying a word she rang up $5.00 and tucked the $1.00 bill in the tip jar.
