The toppings on the crustless were well prepared. 2. the cauliflower crust was pronounced well. 3. the regular pizza was a little too gourmet. Stopped in after a local game. Service was super fast and food was brought to the table quickly. The bread on the steak sub was so soft and tasty! Bacon cheese fries were a huge serving!! LATE NIGHT POST GAME FILL UP SCENARIO: Stopped by here after taking in a ball game at the local high school. We decided to sit in and order a couple beverages and an appetizer (crab fries). Due to a previous traumatic experience with crab fries, I held my breath until they came out. Peanut oil fried, topped with crab (imitation) and melted cheese. These! are real crab fries. So all you "I like crab fries that have no cheese or crab on this and all it is, is seasoning"- take a walk. They came with ranch (nice healthy portion) for us to share. I would say this was the worst part of the meal. They were okay, but all the crab and cheese was on the top, and the fries underneath didn't get a chance to meet the crab and fries. Plus in general, there was something off about them. We split a meat lover's pie- medium, after wrestling with the possibility of getting a steak pie, but settled on meat lover's. Came very quickly, topped with pepperoni, ham slices, and two types of sausage. Sauce to cheese ratio was spot on- little heavy on sauce but enough cheese to accompany it. Crust was prepared just right- not the totally thin style but not a pan either. Asked for more ranch and made "pizza sandwiches" polishing most of the pie. The medium was what I'm used to being a large. There's a tip for you- medium is very big. So if you aren't sure on sizing, medium probably will take care of 2-3 people. Service was VERY VERY GOOD. Lady was attentive and nice, responded to each request and was friendly. Place wasn't a typical restaurant, more of a takeout place with indoor seating. Clean place. I have also tried the Steak and Cheese sub which was very good as well. One piece that is a little misleading on the Yelp entry for this restaurant is the price level (shows as under $10). OMGosh this place was great! We were on a long bike ride and staying at the nearby Red Roof Inn and were quite tired and hungry. Right when we walked in we knew we had come to the right place! With her meal came a really legit salad and some warm bread. I was expecting her spaghetti to be just some mushy pasta with a too-sweet sauce. But oh no, this pasta was fresh and al-dente and the sauce was amazing. Not gonna lie, I ended up having "just one more bite" of her food several times. It was super delicious! The absolute best pizza in MD. Period. Ive had "NY" pizza from all over the state, from the eastern shore to all around the DC/Baltimore region while working at Ft Meade. NY style is the only real pizza in my opinion and independent pizzerias are the only ones to support. Sadly every other pizza place in MD claims to be NY pizza but maybe 1 out of 10 actually make the attempt to be what they claim. Marco's is the real deal though as Marco and his family hail from Jersey and have their ingredients shipped in from the City. I was told this place had potential for good food, but the staff was rude. I adventured myself and had some coupons they sent in the mail. I gave them a call and ask for 2 large two toppings pizza, the first one pepperoni and green peppers, the second one pepperoni and jalapeño, but I jus wanted half of the pizza with jalapeños, because I stated to the over the phone that I don't eat meat. They told me they can't do that because that was extra for the jalapeños. I reapplied the 2nd pizza has 2 toppings pepperoni and jalapeños but the first person that answered the phone couldn't do that for me, then she gave the phone to another woman and she was so rude to me, insisted that she will change me more for the pizza. We dined at Macro's for lunch yesterday. We stopped in because we'd heard that it was recently opened by Marcello, who'd once owned Rocky's Pizza near Amber Meadows in Frederick. The rumor was true. Marcello and his uncle from Rocky's were there. Macro's is not a fine Italian restaurant. It is a pizzeria straight out of the New York tri-state area. The pizza (neapolitan) was near perfect (the sauce has been sweetened slightly to align with Maryland tastes). The crust was thin, but had great texture and substance (like a soft leather) that can be folded to eat without cracking or going limp. The flavor was outstanding as well. We also had an order of spaghetti and meat sauce, cheese fries (with bacon), ham and cheese sandwich, and garlic bread. The portions were large and the food had good flavor, but they paled in comparison to the pizza. read more

This is the place where we go for subs and good Italian dishes. Portions are large and can be shared between two people easily. Staff is great! Prices are a little more than Tonys down the street, but are well worth it. Only bad thing is they are not open on Sundays, but we will survive. read more
