I am a vegan vegetarian and years ago if you requested a vegan pizza they wanted to give you a jacket with strings that tied in the back. Things have changed. I retired on 1-1-12 and I wanted to buy some good food for my buddies that were giving a party for me. I insisted on paying for the food and one of the guys recommended Anythony's Pizza in Berwyn. I went there and talked to both Tony, the owner, and his son, Anthony. Nice is not the word. They were as accommodating as they could be and treated me like a champ. I needed help on how much to order. Tony would not let me over order. When I shook hands with him I didn't have to count my fingers afterwards. Straight up good guy. The guys loved the food. They licked the plates clean and Tony figured out just how much I would need and he was dead on correct. Many of my buddies asked where the food came from and I was surprised how many of them knew of Anthony's Pizza. I didn't have time to eat a thing, but Tony prepared some angel hair pasta for me in marinara sauce that was more than good. I gobbled it down when I got home after the party and it was a healthy portion. Tonight I asked my wife if she could go for some pizza when she got home from work. She said yes and I told her I know just the place. We live 25 minutes away from there and though I had not tasted Tony's pizza at my party all the guys said it was out of this world. I called Tony on the way there and I got a 16 inch one on whole wheat crust with sauce, mushrooms and green peppers without cheese. My wife got a smaller one with mushrooms and cheese. Were they good? No they were out of this world. I had to make sure my wife was breathing because once she started she didn't come up for air. She loved it. I ate my whole pizza, but for two pieces which I saved to eat cold for breakfast. I just couldn't stop. I have travelled all over America. I've been to Scandinavia, England, France, Middle East, etc and I have never tasted pizza that good. The sauce was just right, not to salty so you missed the flavor, the peppers were fresh and the mushrooms were plump and cooked to perfection. It's a good thing Anthony's Pizza is not around the corner. I could make that place a habit. Healthy food that tastes good? That's a plus. For once my wife, who's not a vegetarian, didn't say that my food tastes like cardboard. Tony remembered me when we came in, greeted us like family and did whatever he could to make us feel at home. The ladies behind the counter were just like that. Great tasting food, nice people, fair prices and they acted like we were their only customer. I have been ordering from Anthony's for over a decade . since I was in oak park now I stay in berwyn. I order and 18 inch cheese and sausage with half spinach and bbq chicken that was the only sides I ordered . when the pizza arrived it looked okay upon me taking my first bite I saw it had mushrooms , onions, and huge sliced tomatoes. I immediately called to tell them and the lady told me its not my fault. Thats what I order. I did not say give me a bbq and chicken supreme. I said spinach with bbq chicken. She went back and forth start yelling. Telling me I would not get a refund. Even after I told her my son was allergic to mushrooms. I believe her name was jensenia or jenia , she said she was the manager 6/16/2018, and she told me to take it off the mushrooms not her problem. That's not even possible when a person has allergies. I mean rude. I will never spend my money with them every again. I can tolerate melted cheese pizza to one side every now and than , but I can't tolerate Rudeness , and inconsiderness especially when it can be harmful to a persons health. i went to get a couple of slices or pizza s at there location no delivery, the girl there she says shes a maneger, there she was rude and had a mouth on her, when i told her i wanted a drink she looked bothered and made a face . my friend was there too. and his woman, gave my friend lip. to. when i friend asked to add fries to her order, this woman says, bitch while walking away, and getting te fries to my friend, i would not recommend, this place. i all ready placed this on my other websites where to go, and where to go in chicago or ILL areas, not only that i contacted the owner, and complain about this girl. he said he wanted to make up for it, he said he would send me and my friends a certificate and we never got it. so the owner is the same way, and not only that, these people dont clean there hands i saw, this woman wipe her nose and then handled the pizza, disgusting, i will surely contact the heath department. soon. this place do not recommend it, read more

Anthony's is one of my favorite places to get food from. I started going in there with my ex for slices, (which are awsome) but then started to notice all the other stuff they have. They have excellent chicken and a ton of appetizers, i also really like they're baked lasagna ( because it comes with a salad and bread). I also recently found out that they have catering which is actually why im writing the review. I ordered package #1 which consists of chicken, pasta, and salad. it suprised me because you have so many options, you can diversify your order almost any which way, which was great! Also, just when i thought the suprises were over I was also accomadated with plates, forks, knives, and utensils, not to mention the racks and such. So, in a nutshell, keep up the great work Anthony's and I will continue to use you for all my catering needs. And p.s.- that girl that works in the morning is hott! read more

I went to Anthony's the other night, and believe me, my family being a very authentic Italian family when it comes to pizza, was impressed. The sausage on the pizza was full of flavor and the sauce was perfect! The girls up front were so accomodating and really made me feel at home as well. I believe the one girl's name was Vanessa, she made sure my order was correct, let me take my time in ordering and politely answered all my antoginzing questions about the pizza, being the picky Italian I am. I never experienced such rudeness and disrespect from a restaurant like Anthony's. I been ordering from this restaurant for years! I recently had some questions about the coupons and got hung up on. The manager is the worse! So rude and talked so nasty to me. I come into Anthony's about three days a week for food, the other two days I have it delivered. this place is awsome because the food is always available, whether its noon or midnight. My schedule is hectic because of my profession but they always have hot food ready for me. They're broasted chicken is to die for, and they cant keep those slices coming fast enough! I really love that this food is priced so cheap. I've been to other resturants and by the time i know it i've already rcked up a $40 bill just for pizza, then i started going to anthony's and i pay half that. Helped my friend celebrate her bachelorette party which she catered food from Anthony's Pizza. The food was delivered on time and was still hot even though we were downtown and it was rush hour, very impressed. The bride placed special orders for the celebration which Anthony's fulfilled beyond expectations. I would definitely recommend Anthony's Pizza to any one for great food and service as it will be my first choice for pizza in the future. read more

First off I would love to say the slices are absolutely amazing. The cheese was so fresh and the pricing was amazing. So I've been ordering pizzas for a few months now and I've gotta say I love their pizza. They also started sending me coupons in the mail for pizza and chicken, which I love even more. They have a lot of good specials. My personal favorite though, is the large pizza, 2 liter, and 10 wings for like 14.99 or something. Those wings are outta this world, I dream about em'. the best-stuffed pizza hands down. We typically order once every other week when my wife and I get a deep dish craving. I haven't really tried anything else on their menu except their garlic breadsticks, which are also tasty. If you love the deep dish and haven't already tried them, I'd say give it a shot, you won't be disappointed! read more

This place is awful. I went in and ordered a $3 slice with a rc, I was expecting a decent pizza but instead had a flavorless slice. Definitely not filling, nor anything special.
