Worked with Kevin several years back and remembered that I always meant to leave a review. He installed our projector system in our apartment that has a very high ceiling and in a fairly challenging spot and did a great job. The process went like this: 1) Very clear initial communication. Kevin made sure that everything would be ready to go when he arrived to do the job so that he is not wasting his or your time and money. 2) Was not sure what to get but Kevin provided a clear shopping list of materials needed that were easy to procure... I believe the only thing I did have to begin with was the projector which we bought before contacting him. 3) Day of install Kevin showed up and worked quickly and efficiently (with great vibe too!), to get everything done. Was impressed with how clean he was able to make everything look because we had to run some cables for audio etc... over a pretty significant amount of wall space. Was definitely happy to have hired Kevin for the job because the resulting setup worked and looked great. If I had attempted to do this myself I'm sure it would have been a mess. Kevin came by yesterday to unpack and set up my new 55" TV. From start to finish, this was a wonderful experience. I'll start from the beginning. I initially contacted a company that my Contractor hired to do a previous TV Installation in my home. That Company is located in Manhattan and in speaking with them, they no longer service outside of Manhattan. That took care of that. Then did some research and came across another company that supposedly does very high-tech TV calibration, as well as other services. Their website states that Plasma & LCD TV Installation starts at $199.99. They also have Professional TV Calibration that starts at $199.99. However, I was informed that $795 is what they charge for new TV setups which include wiring, unboxing, base line calibrations etc. They would not provide me with any explanation on the variance in pricing on their website vs what they were quoting me. Yeah, sorry. No. Sometimes the third time really is a charm. I contact Kevin who got back to me pretty immediately and confirmed that he charges a flat fee (a FRACTION of what I was previously quoted). It was easily scheduling an appointment, and when the delivery of my TV was delayed, there was no issue in moving the date. Kevin arrived at my home right on time, a rare occurrence in this day and age. He unboxed the TV, attached the stand, re-affixed my cable wires to my molding, had a shorter 3' HDTV cable on hand to minimize cable/wire exposure, and affixed all wires in a way that makes them magically disappear. He set up my cable box and programmed the remotes, after which I got a tutorial in how to navigate the Smart TV. When I re-do my office in the Spring, I will most definitely be calling on Kevin again. Highly recommend. read more

I can't recommend Kevin enough! This is one of those Yelp success stories. I purchased a projector, projector screen, new surround speaker system, and other equipment to have a discreet system added to our bedroom as well as upgrade my existing living room entertainment center. Since this install involved running cables through walls and mounting large, precise instruments, I went in search of a professional to do it right. Kevin happened to be the most highly rated (and with genuine reviews) and the closest I found in my search. I was able to speak to him instantly, get some recommendations and advice, and he even came out to scout the job before doing the work so I was able to have everything extra prepared for the install date. Kevin was friendly, fun, prompt, and his work was excellent! I even made the mistake of buying a projector intended to sit on a tabletop when I thought it would ceiling or wall mount and Kevin was still able to build a solution so I wouldn't have to switch out my projector. My wife was out of town when he did the install and was thrilled when she came home to a movie theatre in our room! It's the best thing ever! read more

Don't know why this guy doesn't have more ratings, literally just had him leave my house after installing a hefty 138 pound Onkyo theater system. Totally professional, hugely personable, arrived right on time and got the job done quicker than originally anticipated. Originally I was going to have the wires hidden through the wall, but I had already suspected that the wall they were going on wouldn't work (weird wall construction throughout the whole house), which turned out to be the case. Kevin went over my options, and I opted for having the wires run over the wall as opposed to channel the whole thing (rental property yadda yadda.) I was worried as to how it would look, but I've gotta say the work is top notch, the wiring is done incredibly neatly, and secured to the floor and hidden all the way across the room to the other side where the receiver is. He calibrated my system, and each speaker for optimal results for the listening area (which is why I wanted someone with actual audio experience vs one of those companies that really only mount tvs, and as I sit here listening to my music, I must say.....its incredible. Perfect distribution between the speakers, great levels, and unbelievable bass. He walked me through how to use everything, and even left the cable tied through the back of my entertainment unit to make it easier for the Time Warner guy when he comes. All in All 10/10, would for sure recommend and will definitely use him again for future work.. read more
