Unfortunately, there was no miscommunication. I was presented with an estimate after being told the alignment tech jacked up the front of my vehicle and found "play" in the front end. The total was to include all front end parts, labor and the cost of the alignment. I worked in the auto industry for twenty-five years and have been an automotive enthusiast virtually all my life. I know when I'm being played. It's pretty troubling really considering that PR is a small community and there are not many shops to choose from. When you select one, you just hope someone treats you fairly, honestly and does good work at a fair price. I did not receive that experience. I went to get an alignment at this place and the appointment I made was not honored. Further, they had the vehicle for two hours, did not align the vehicle and proceeded to tell me that all of the suspension components were worn out needling replacement before they could align the vehicle. This would be at a cost of $2800!!! I took my vehicle and had the alignment done at Big Brand Tire. They were less expensive, vehicle was done in 45 minutes and they did not try jack me over for almost $3K. I told my story to other friends who said that is the MO of Anthony's Tire, so all vehicle owners should avoid this place. Buyer Beware! read more

We were driving down to Los Angeles for the weekend on the 101 when my passenger rear tire decided to go flat and then fly off! AAA was awesome as usual and was able to pick us up and tow us cause we needed a new tire asap to get back on the road. Apparently my tire is a funny size cause I called over to America's tire first and they didn't have it, called another place in Pasa Robles and they didn't have it and then I gave Anthony a call. He said it looked like they had 2, but said he wanted to check and put hands on it to make sure I didn't get towed there for nothing. After a minute of waiting, he was back on the phone, said he had it and that he'd be waiting for me once we got there. About an hour later we showed up, Anthony gave my car a quick once over and then had a mechanic working on the tire. I even asked if I should buy both tires since I know it's better to replace them in pairs and he was extremely honest with me and said all my other tires were still good, he already checked in case I needed both. That's a huge plus in my book when someone passes up a sale for the better of the customer. The change took maybe 10 minutes before we were good to pay and get back on the road. Prices were great, service was quick, I couldn't have asked for a better experience given the circumstances. I wish I lived closer to Pasa Robles to have Anthony be my regular tire shop. If you're looking for a tire shop, this is the place. read more

Was wondering how a tire shop could have such stellar reviews because that's not a norm where I'm from (San Jose). Well my boyfriend and I had to make an emergency stop after he ran over a nail on the road and too be honest, I was not in the best of moods. However, after we checked in with the guy at the front desk, I felt a sense of relief because he was really nice and reassuring without making false promises. Wonderful, attentive business that is bringing back customer service. I drive a Jetta TDI that is front wheel drive and I recently needed new tires, so I bought some on tire rack to have installed at another business. Once on, they seemed a bit unbalanced and the original shop I went to told me that I could come back to have them rotated for $40. I was a little unenthused about the whole situation, so I wanted a second opinion on what was up with my tires. I heard about Anthony's from my step dad who had been going here for a long while. When I got there they check out my car and the tires were improperly inflated! They fixed the pressure, then walked me through the mechanisms of tire wear and tear and explained how I needed to rotate them differently than I would for a rear wheel drive car. They were very helpful and did not demean the previous business I had gone to at all, which I consider very professional. To top it off, they even told me to come back for a free rotation after 5,000 miles!!! True gem of a business. read more

Short version: fast service, respectful employees, good price, overall a great tire shop! Today I came into Anthony's at 9:30. I was paid and done by 9:50. There was an open terminal so I pulled straight up, and the mechanic came out to guide me into the spot. I thought all I needed was a back tire balance. So I told the man and went inside to inform them. They were already working on my car. I LOVE that kind of service. After a brief couple minutes, they told me all 4 were out of balance and needed a rotation. Then they checked the pressure and I was 20lbs too low. Now it feels like I'm riding on clouds. They do good work for the right price. Plus I got a free breakfast sandwich in the waiting room! I have also purchased used tires from this shop and have had no problems; and I always get free balances because I bought the tires there. read more

Anthony went above and beyond to help a friend of mine get a tire on her damaged rim. She had bought a tire at a big name tire store and after they sold it to her, they informed her they couldn't put it on her rim. My friend is on a fixed income and they offered to sell her a rim for over $300 to correct the issue. she went to Anthony's and they spent almost two hours working on the rim so they could mount the tire for her. after they fixed the rim and mounted the tire, they charged her a minimal fee because they were aware of her financial situation. i work for a large construction company and we take all our vehicles here. I have seen him help out other people in similar situations, while waiting for our vehicles. Anthony is the last of a dying breed. He is an honest hardworking american, not out to screw anyone over. This place is amazing. We're in town for some wine tasting and woke up to a flat tire. Anthony's came highly recommend by the desk clerk at the Holiday Inn. I was too lazy to change the tire so I used a can of fix a flat to make it to his store. Anthony had us in and out in 20 minutes. Last Saturday I got a flat tire while out in Shandon. I live in Oceano and was out there caring for my brother who has cancer. I needed to get to Nipomo by 2:00 to pick-up my grandson. Drove into Paso on the spare tire (weird little donut thing) went straight to Big Brand tire. They said the wait was at least 3 hours. Drove to Dan's tire and they were closed. Luckily there was a man standing out front who told me about Anthony's. When I pulled up they took me right in. Fixed my tire immediately. I was out of there with a perfect tire within 45 minutes. I went tipsy and they said "Don't worry about it....no charge" They charged me $0!!! Next set of tires I buy WILL be purchased from Anthony's. They do quality work and truly amazing customer service. Wow, just wow. My husband and I were just leaving downtown Paso Robles to head home to San Francisco, when we found a big screw in our front tire. We pulled over, opened Yelp, and headed over to Anthony's. Luckily, the tire was repairable. They were able to fit us in and patched the tire in less than 30 min!! While we waited, I also couldn't help but overhear one of the gentleman that worked there, Michael, call a number of customers who'd purchased tires back in April, to offer them a rebate on their purchase from four months ago! WOW! Most businesses don't look back after they've collected your money. Anthony's Tire Shop is a truly, truly special place.
