We bought a couple of tastings, and our bartender was super nice and informative without getting in our way of enjoying the spirits. We brought my mom to hang out and wow, my mom... she can throw them down. While I appreciated the strength of the vodka and the bourbon, my mom totally enjoyed the cinnamon moonshine. After trying out the distilled spirits, we went to the gift shop. I stocked up on some Shiner+Texas Standard gear, that now you can't really get anymore. The store is different than what you can get online, and vice versa... some of the stuff you might find online, you won't find in the in person store. After the tasting and shopping experience, we went to the new restaurant, which showcases the spirits and the seasonal beer. We also waited for the dessert. I enjoyed the bread pudding and we were lucky to try some practice rounds that the mixologists were trying out. All in all, we had a fun visit to one of my favorite places on the planet.

Open space with lots of seating and enough yard for kids to play and throw footballs (some kids don't realize their aim/catching skill level so beware if you're sitting close to the activity). We booked the distillery tour which was a fun and educational activity. You also get to sample the spirits and walk away with souvenir bag. There's a nice big bar area outside with snacks, you can also order food and more substantial snacks through the restaurant. There is also a nice gift shop with lots of goodies. Everything was yummy. Especially the pretzels. I didn't know I could love pretzels that much! Service was friendly. Definitely a nice way to spend the day off you want to get away.

This is absolutely a must stop if you are in the Shiner area!!! I can't think of anyplace else I've ever been where I could have a beer and shop at the same time ... how cool is that? Beverly and her staff are so friendly and welcoming ... they make you feel right at home. I probably spent too much time here as it was so easy to relax with a beer then wander awhile and see what great stuff they have for sale but I do believe it was time well spent! Absolutely great time and I will be back!! read more

Came to Shiner for my 53rd Birthday a couple years ago...Saw this place listed on my Google of Shiner....so.....I rode my Harley down from Denison Texas and stopped in.... Had to check this place out.....Nothing like it anywhere I've been! I'm prett;y much a regular here now.....I ended up moving here that same year.....Now I can walk here from my house....Doesn't get any better than that! read more

This business is a great credit to the Shiner community, brings a sense of refinement and eclectic ambiance to town. The proprietor Beverly is congenial with everyone that stops in and has become a fixture in the local community. She often holds events that bring the locals in in droves, as in the Kentucky Derby party and the like. read more

Unfortunately the distillery is only open Friday and Saturday nights from 5:00-10:00pm. We went on a Friday night right when they opened and a good handful of people had the same idea. Our waitress came around and took our food and drink order as well as everyone else's, so it did take around 20-30 minutes to get our drinks and a little longer to get our appetizers. Once the rush of customers was finished, we received drinks more promptly. We got the salsa and chips + guac to enjoy with our drinks and everything was incredibly tasty!
