We placed an order for a grill from the weekly sale paper that was to be assembled and picked up on…read morea Friday. We were told it would be ready within 2 hours so we drove to the store. When we arrived we were told that there were none of that product in the store at all. Online showed that there were 17 in stock (while watching the number went down to 16 as one obviously sold). Called on Saturday, waited on hold for 15 minutes, and were told that although our grill was indeed there no assemblers are in on the weekend and that it would be ready Monday. Called Monday and spoke to a manager who said there was an issue because none of the assemblers showed up for work that morning. he promised it would be ready first thing Tuesday morning. Called Tuesday morning and was transferred by the service desk to the garden center. Woman at the garden center said we had to talk to the service desk. I explained to her that they were the ones who had transferred me to her. She said that they had the grill and that it would be assembled and could be picked up after noon that day. We are going in now to try to get the grill that we were supposed to have had 5 days ago.

The delivery driver pulled up to install our new refrigerator to lecture us about how "without double doors" they cannot fit the door into the house when every other doorway in America has single doors where people deliver though daily. He then disassembled part of a door that was screwed into the door frame that was in his way while trying to fit the new refrigerator to get to the kitchen without reassembling it exactly how he found it after he was finished. After he was done with the installation, not only did he leave behind the old drawers from the old refrigerator (when we paid HD extra to take the entire refrigerator away, including the inside drawers.) but he did not even bother installing the shelving inside the refrigerator (claiming that it was a COVID issue). I don't believe I have ever heard of so much BS. I wonder why Lowes delivery finished the job completely from beginning to end for my friend. Maybe COVID only exists when shopping at HD, IDK. One excuse after another just to get away with doing minimal work. PURE laziness from beginning to end. On top of this, We called the HD dispatch supervisor to complain. After the supervisor claimed to confront the driver, the driver denied everything and lied to his supervisor.
