Upon arriving, we were greeted right away by the bartender/waitress. She was so welcoming and easy to talk to. If you get a little anxiety before ordering, all of that will melt away with how welcoming this place is. Crab mac n cheese 10/10: Fair amount of crab in this dish. It came out piping hot and with crackers which I loved! You could literally see it boiling. Chicken caesar salad 10/10: Crunchy lettuce. COATED dressing. Delicious chicken. Refreshing. An absolute hidden gem right in the middle of Leonardtown Square. During the week they specialize in wine & cocktails, known locally for their "Wine & Shine" which is a sangria made with a splash of locally distilled Southern Trails Moonshine (don't be scared, it's delicious). Fairly basic bar menu, but the flatbreads are fantastic. On the weekend they serve a brunch menu, with southern-inspired cuisine. There is not a single thing on the menu (I have tried it all) that I wouldn't give a 5/5. The shrimp and grits are heavenly, with a sauce that I would put on anything (if cholesterol wasn't a thing). Everything is cooked to order by a very small team of Chefs, so the wait can sometimes be a little long -- but it is entirely worth the wait. I can't believe this place is close to empty when I walk by. My girlfriend and I had Sunday brunch and a dinner here and the food, drink, and customer service were all great. Really like the atmosphere and menu but must say our first experience was not their best. We went on a Sunday for brunch and our group of seven placed our orders after a few minutes of socializing and sharing Mimosas When the food was delivered many of our orders were missing items the menu showed and the waitress never mentioned anything at the time we ordered or when our food was delivered. After we questioned our waitress we were told the kitchen had run out. There was no fresh fruit, no butter!, and a couple other things were not included with our meals but were shown on the menu. After we paid our bill we were told they shop locally and every item they prepare is fresh. They go to the Market for the week and open for business Wednesday through Sunday. I was a little disappointed they didn't inform us of these missing items when we ordered nor did they adjust our bill at all Based on my experience I must recommend going on a Wednesday to hopefully experience the menu as they showed. read more

Great brunch! Enjoyable food, really good service. If you are there for brunch, get the shrimp and grits. The grits are an amazing grit cake, the sauce is great, and the shrimp were well prepared. The omelet was really good, and the chicken which you can get with either waffles or french toast was yummy (and particularly good dipped in their side of hot sauce they recommended.) Cocktails were also great. The bloody mary had great flavor and some kick to it. The Cucumber Dream was very refeshing - I'll be making those at home! One annoyance - There is a 3% credit card fee that does not feel well disclosed. The total we accepted on the payment screen was not the payment that we were charged, which was higher by a "Credit card surcharge (3.0%)". Buried inside Leonardtown's burgeoning historic/arts district is Antoinette's Garden... a hipster wine bar in bordello clothing. There was so much blue velvet, body ink and stringed lighting around I fully expected David Lynch and Dennis Hopper to walk in sucking from their oxygen tanks. All kidding aside, the wine list is as interesting as it is varied with full representation from New Zealand and Australia. Bar service can also be had but be forewarned, on a busy night, you'll wait for your spirits. And if your mood turns to coffee... chill... as the real time harvesting and grinding of the java is a Defcon 1, all hands on deck, endeavor. All that said, the place is interesting and as dark as a wino's cataracts. Isabella Rossellini was there. She never looked happier. Four stars for the hipster by the pound motiff. I've been to Antoinette's many times and overall most of my experiences have been positive. The service can be slow sometimes. However, after tonight's experience I will not go back unless I have cash on hand, that's if I do go back. When I went to pay my bill, I was told my total was nearly $30. This was surprising as all I had was a cauliflower crust cheese pizza, and one club soda with lime (no alcohol). I had no idea how that was almost $30. You're not given a detailed bill when you checkout, just the card machine that has a total, no breakout. After I paid, I selected the option for a text receipt. As you can see in the receipt, they automatically charge a 21.5% gratuity and credit card service surcharge, then charge another 3% credit card surcharge. You're being charged twice to use your credit card and gratuity is already added, so when I tipped, it was an extra 20% on top of the 21.5% already charged. I don't mind paying a credit card surcharge at a small business, but twice is excessive. It's extremely deceptive to not communicate this customer. Ultimately I paid over $35 for a soda and a small, maybe medium size cheese pizza. read more

We absolutely love this place!! What a gem! The decor and atmosphere are perfect! The food is amazing and the service is exceptional! We tried the shrimp burgers which have become my favorite. I also tried the pretzel charcuterie board and was pleased with the items but wished the pretzel was softer and warm. My husband loves the omelet but the portion is a little small for him. We love the games being available to play. While waiting for our meal I learned to play backgammon again. We had not played since we were kids. Shrimp and grits are my go to whenever on a menu and their cream sauce and shrimp flavor was amazing. It did leave me wishing for some more substance added to the meal though - green peppers, roasted corn.. something. Fruit salad was fresh and a good selection. French toast was great! We are from PA and came to Leonardtown to visit my son. He said we had to go to Antoinette's Garden. Best recommendation EVER!! The atmosphere was relaxed and Trevor (our bar tender) was AH-MAZING!!! He made us laugh so hard and had everyone engaged and interacting. We only visit a couple times a year but Antoinette's will be a regular stop. Hopefully Trevor will still be serving!!! read more

I love this place. The decor is pretty colorful but the place feels very cozy. I come here with my friends when they host karaoke nights, or to play games and eat light fare. I have been to have a charcuterie lunch as well. The staff are usually very warm and inviting, and they have added to my enjoyment during events that they have hosted. Definitely recommend! read more
