Delicious and affordable Colombian food. You seriously get so much delicious food for your money, and with different flavors than any other restaurant in the area. This spot was fantastic for some good ole Colombian breakfast that my boyfriend and I woke up craving. When you first walk in, you'll notice the front counter selling baked goodies like empanadas and churros. The place was packed with neighborhood families, but there was one table open that we were able to snag right away. Breakfast is served until 12 noon and even though we arrived around 12:30, they allowed us to order from the breakfast menu anyways. Perfect. My boyfriend went with the steak & eggs plate and I went with the cut up chicharones dish. Both were served with cheesy arepas and coffee (which was promptly refilled whenever our mugs got low). The food was horible; steak was cold, rice just as cold, and they even managed to give me a dirty fork and knife yet the worst part; its got foreign objects in the food. Went to this place for the first time. They charged $25 for a churrasco (skirt steak ) which normally would be fine if that was the actual meat I received. I got home 20 mins after picking up the meat only to find out that I was given an overcooked , chewy, and incorrect piece of meat. I told him I paid $50 for meat that was not what was promised , he interrupted and spoke over saying that if I didn't like the prices to go elsewhere. First of all I did not complain of the price for the churrasco , I complained for the price of the lesser quality meat that I received. He added "I can't believe you're actually complaining at a time like this", I am sorry but COVID or no COVID a business owner should not be so combative with a first time client that spent $80 at their restaurant. I asked for a number to send the pictures of what I am positive is NOT skirt steak , I sent them to him to which he replied , "yes that's churrasco ma'am and the good kind".
