I asked if the jerk chicken was spicy, and he explained that he purposely doesn't make the chicken itself spicy because not everyone enjoys heat. Instead, he lets customers choose between a mild or spicy sauce. I appreciated that because it gives everyone options and the sauce is yummy. He told me my order would take about 10 minutes, and it was definitely worth the wait. Everything tasted fresh and was piping hot when I got it. The jerk chicken was flavorful, juicy, and reminded me of the authentic jerk chicken I've had in Kingston, Jamaica. The cabbage was delicious too--honestly, every bite was good. I also noticed the grills set up behind the food truck, which made me feel like they were preparing the jerk chicken the traditional way. You can tell they care about the quality of the food. Walking in, though, the place felt more like a haunted house. Everything was dark, almost entirely black. Yelp claimed it was wheelchair accessible, but that's not accurate--there are stairs right inside the entrance. I looked around for a menu on the wall or counter, but couldn't find one. When I asked an employee, he pointed to a small 8×11-inch standing display on the cluttered counter. It's easy to miss because the counter is covered with napkins, plastic utensils, straws, ads, and other items. There are only two high counter tables with tall chairs, so dining in isn't really an option. I ordered the Turkey Swiss Melt with fries and asked for a soda, but they only had lemonade or water. I was told it will take 15 minutes to make my lunch, I was the lone customer here. The Turkey Swiss Melt was delicious, but extremely messy--definitely not ideal to eat in the car. The fries were seasoned with black pepper before serving, and they don't offer salt. The lemonade was overly sweet, way too much sugar. They packed everything in a bag and handed it to me without asking whether I wanted dine-in or carry-out. Honestly, from the look and feel of the place, dining in would've been uncomfortable anyway.

We've seen it from Columbia to Finksburg MD! This time we found them at an event in Savage Park in Savage MD, (Jun 2026), in a cluster of trucks gathered in a corner of the parking lot next to one of the fields in a little league tournament. We already had hot dogs before we saw the DMV truck, and we had no regrets, but also no room for more. But we love love these birria tacos. Tender, juicy, flavorful, with lots of consommé on the side for dunking. We got some to take home, and they reheated really well, losing none of the flavors or aromas, just losing some of the crispiness of the taco shell. They were a glorious mess! We got an order of flavorful shrimp tacos, too. Scrumptious! Generous! They had birria, chicken, shrimp, or veggie tacos or quesadillas or burritos or rice-bowls, loaded fries, even a birria grilled cheese, birria empanadas, or a birria or combo hoagie! That's like a week of comfort foods to choose from! Beverages include Jarritos, and they have churros for dessert with sipping chocolate. Where will we seem them next!
