I do prefer fuller pieces, but the flavor and so much meat I was absolutely impressed. Everything tasted fresh. The shrimp was crunchy. Perfect amount of rice and beans. A ton of salsa was given as well. Fish taco was very good and again ample amount of meat. Two tortillas to hold that shark together! BRC burrito was lived by the vegetarian in the household. Great flavor and very authentic tasting was her comment. Now the street tacos flavor was good. But the chop meat was so fine I felt like a baby being fed steak. Bigger bites people! Having said that the flavor was still good. And wrap them so they don't fall apart in the packaging. Overall five stars! Super friendly service. Proving is fair for what I'm getting. I'd pay 15.00 for that surf/turf burrito. Well done Chico tacos. Oh and they have a lovely stone sitting outdoor area to enjoy your meal. Or inside is great too. See you tomorrow! The salsa bar was clean and stalked but overall not worth the price of the tacos. The meat was a little dry and there wasn't much to them even with the added cheese unfortunately mostly tortilla.

The drive through can take a bit , but it's not fast food so that has never bothered me. My one gripe, and it's enough for me to knock 2 stars, is their stinginess with salsa. Only Mexican restaurant I've ever been where they are vehemently stingy with their salsa. Order chips and pay close to $5 after tax and you get a solid amount of chips, but they only allow you 2 salsa and half the time they barely fill the salsa containers (honestly sometimes like 1/4 full which is less than an ounce of salsa). Again, it's literally the only Mexican food restaurant I've ever been to that limits you on salsa and it's not even reasonable. And this last time I went finally sent me over the edge because they charged me extra for salsa because I wanted more and I finally agreed to just pay up only to get home and realize half the containers were less than half full. Honestly unacceptable. And on top of that I'm a frequent customer that will tip a few bucks every time even though I'm not dining in and I continuously get screwed on the salsa.

We could see the cook grilling up the meats as we placed our order. There were at least five different salsas to choose from as well as cucumbers and a chili oil at the self-serve salsa bar. I noticed a customer in front of us ordered a kids plate which included two street tacos and rice and beans. That's what I ended up ordering with Carne Asada and chorizo. There were four or five proteins to choose from for the kids plate. I loved the grilled meats with the char flavor. It was delicious! Everything was well seasoned. I wish I would've ordered a third or maybe even a fourth taco because it was that good! I will definitely come back many times and it's going to be on our lunch rotation for sure.

It's hard to find a good Taco Tuesday but they do a great job helping the community and keeping the prices $1.50 for basic meats like pollo, asada, and al pastor. I personally love my lengua and this truck has some of the best I've tried! It is a bit pricier but definitely worth it given the taste/quality. A couple things about the condiments--green sauce is spicier than you think, red one is more of a salsa and not that hot. Radishes are unfortunately not very crunchy/juicy at this location so I don't get it as often as I would at other taco spots. If you're ever in a rush, they do phone orders AND DoorDash. I've done all the methods and quality stays up there each time! However, if you do wanna enjoy your tacos right after they're prepared, you can always sit at their tables next to the truck. They have quite a bit of dining space and I've never seen it too crowded to the point of having difficulty finding a spot to sit. In terms of finding the truck, you just need to turn into S Hathaway St. Very close to the train tracks. I park in any free space they have there, since the businesses are usually closed after 5pm (which is when the truck opens).

We never heard it called, though we clearly heard other numbers and saw employees actively delivering food to other tables. After 15 minutes, I went inside to check on our food. Our order was just sitting on the counter. When I checked the tacos, the meat wasn't just lukewarm--it was completely cold to the touch. When I caught the cashier's eye, he just gave me a thumbs-up. When I told him the food was cold, the cashier, Irvin, immediately got defensive and told me with an attitude, 'I called the number twice.' I explained that we didn't hear it, and pointed out that staff had been bringing food out to everyone else anyway. Instead of offering a solution, he doubled down, saying, 'I heard my voice over the speakers,' giving me a 'too bad, so sad' look. When I asked him to remake the food, he completely refused, repeating that he'd called the number. Unwilling to argue with someone that unprofessional, I told him to keep the cold food and just give me a refund. He refunded the money and we left. Absolutely terrible service from Irvin--we won't be back."
