A pretty solid spot for OC. The birria queso tacos are fire and taste very good. The asada and al pastor are good too, birria stole the show every time I've went. The birria tacos are a filling size while the regular asada/al pastor are a bit smaller. I do wish they didn't use Guerrero tortillas since the taste on those is okay, but overall this truck is worth checking out. Plenty of parking around the truck. I had been to this place before on a Tuesday for Taco Tuesday. So I decided to go back and see if this place was as good as the first time. And I must say this place is doing tacos right. The price is right & cheap on a Tuesday and the flavors are awesome. There's salsa was full of flavor. The customer service here is very friendly. The Food gets out quickly. The vibe here is very chill and friendly I would definitely recommend this place If you're looking for a great taco Tuesday special there in Santa Ana. Taco Gutierrez you have my whole heart! After having moved to Santa Ana last year this has become my go-to spot for tacos close by. It's hard to find a good Taco Tuesday but they do a great job helping the community and keeping the prices $1.50 for basic meats like pollo, asada, and al pastor. I personally love my lengua and this truck has some of the best I've tried! It is a bit pricier but definitely worth it given the taste/quality. A couple things about the condiments--green sauce is spicier than you think, red one is more of a salsa and not that hot. Radishes are unfortunately not very crunchy/juicy at this location so I don't get it as often as I would at other taco spots. If you're ever in a rush, they do phone orders AND DoorDash. I've done all the methods and quality stays up there each time! However, if you do wanna enjoy your tacos right after they're prepared, you can always sit at their tables next to the truck. They have quite a bit of dining space and I've never seen it too crowded to the point of having difficulty finding a spot to sit. In terms of finding the truck, you just need to turn into S Hathaway St. Very close to the train tracks. I park in any free space they have there, since the businesses are usually closed after 5pm (which is when the truck opens). read more

Tucked down a side street, but worth the time! :) Good: Got a few Al Pastor tacos. Now, I'm a bit of a AP snob, and these met the bar. I was on a work trip and was looking for a place to eat. I found this taco truck through Yelp. I drove up and parked as soon as I approached the truck I was greeted by staff. Staff were nice and very helpful. I ordered three tacos. One chicken, carne asada and carnitas. All three tacos were delicious and cooked to perfection. The flavor was great and the meat was tender. My family and I have been going to Tacos Gutierrez for taco Tuesday for probably a year and a half. Not all the tacos are on special for taco Tuesday, but everything we've tried has been delicious. Pollo, Asada, Pastor, chorizo are only $1.50 on Tuesdays. The quesabirria taco is sooooo good! Recently, I've taken two different groups of friends, and everybody was WOWED. Service is readily available and the wait is usually pretty short depending on how many other customers are around. Went for the first time on a taco Tuesday, looking for the best deal on taco Tuesday near Anaheim, where we were staying for the week. I called to see if they were open and what flavor meats were included and when i hung up my phone received a text with the location of the truck, which was super helpful and I'm so glad they did that because otherwise I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have found it. It was tucked away in an area that looked like small business operated during the day but at night no real activity so without their explicit location sent to me I would've assumed I was lost HAHA! There were a number of people there but we were able to order quickly, they have self serve salsas that were delicious and spicy (thinking about it makes my mouth water while typing this)... you can also self serve on picked red onions, fresh sliced radish, and fresh sliced cucumbers. They give you a buzzer while you wait for your order so there's no confusion there either! Got home, and my 11 year old, my husband, and I all enjoyed our tacos and cleaned out plates. I had extra salsa and legit used it the rest of the week on all the food I had while on vacation! Definitely will go back there again. Loved this late night spot. Was craving some tacos and since it was Tuesday... had to do Taco Tuesday. There tacos were $1.50 each. They do charge tax on top regardless if it's cash or card. I got 4 tacos, I would say order as you go so they stay hot. I did 2 each time. With the special it's only the first for meats: Asada, Pastor, Chorizo, Chicken. I really liked the Asada, but the pastor came with guacamole which was really good too. She ask if you want everything: onions, cilantro, grilled onion (these were bomb and on the side) and grilled jalapeño. In terms of drink they had Agua Fresca Mango and Horchata which were $5 in the big cup. Location had plenty of parking and not hard to find. Located near the light so safe. And the place had plenty of tables, chairs and lights. Very clean and would come again. read more

Wish I could leave a better review, I actually decided to give this place a try due to the great reviews. Coming back from noche de altares event in DTSA with my husband we stopped by and ordered 6 tacos, 1 pastor quesadilla, 2 glass drinks & we paid around $33 (we weren't give a receipt). One of the tacos was missing (a birria one) The asada tacos were only okay, the pastor was really greasy completely overpowered any flavor if it had any, especially the quesadilla. Then we found a hair in the quesadilla and I noticed there were two younger looking guys cooking the food and one had long hair and wasn't wearing a hair net. I know that hair nets are not the most fashionable things to wear but when you are cooking peoples food it's important to make sure you do it to avoid getting your hair in their food. I can't recommend this taco truck due to this experience, which is a bummer because it's not too far from us and I would have been willing to come back again if not for that. Giving two stars because they were at least wearing gloves and I don't think they did it maliciously, the cashier was friendly and we didn't wait long. read more

I've come here too many times not to leave a review. They are very consistent, sometimes taco trucks may not be where they usually are, but this one always is without fail at the time listed on Yelp. Taco prices are good, the tacos taste good, and they have a large variety of meats. Usually, you have to either go to either a regular taco truck or a Birria taco truck, but this taco truck has every meat including Birria. On Tuesday's their tacos are $1.50 each, the deal is insane. Went to this truck, last night after Cholos Tacos was packed. The tacos are priced right but nothing really that stands out about flavors. TJ tacos are known for their mesquite flavors and these ate ok, they need better distinct seasonings, if the meat is not grilled.
