Taco Gutierrez you have my whole heart! After having moved to Santa Ana last year this has become my go-to spot for tacos close by. It's hard to find a good Taco Tuesday but they do a great job helping the community and keeping the prices $1.50 for basic meats like pollo, asada, and al pastor. I personally love my lengua and this truck has some of the best I've tried! It is a bit pricier but definitely worth it given the taste/quality. A couple things about the condiments--green sauce is spicier than you think, red one is more of a salsa and not that hot. Radishes are unfortunately not very crunchy/juicy at this location so I don't get it as often as I would at other taco spots. If you're ever in a rush, they do phone orders AND DoorDash. I've done all the methods and quality stays up there each time! However, if you do wanna enjoy your tacos right after they're prepared, you can always sit at their tables next to the truck. They have quite a bit of dining space and I've never seen it too crowded to the point of having difficulty finding a spot to sit. In terms of finding the truck, you just need to turn into S Hathaway St. Very close to the train tracks. I park in any free space they have there, since the businesses are usually closed after 5pm (which is when the truck opens). read more

My family and I have been going to Tacos Gutierrez for taco Tuesday for probably a year and a half. Not all the tacos are on special for taco Tuesday, but everything we've tried has been delicious. Pollo, Asada, Pastor, chorizo are only $1.50 on Tuesdays. The quesabirria taco is sooooo good! Recently, I've taken two different groups of friends, and everybody was WOWED. Service is readily available and the wait is usually pretty short depending on how many other customers are around. Tucked down a side street, but worth the time! :) Good: Got a few Al Pastor tacos. Now, I'm a bit of a AP snob, and these met the bar. I was on a work trip and was looking for a place to eat. I found this taco truck through Yelp. I drove up and parked as soon as I approached the truck I was greeted by staff. Staff were nice and very helpful. I ordered three tacos. One chicken, carne asada and carnitas. All three tacos were delicious and cooked to perfection. The flavor was great and the meat was tender. 12/15/2025 it's Tues here in Orange County. So gave this place a try here in Santa Ana. Wow I'm glad I did. There 's are $1.50 for Al pastor, chicken, chorizo, asada they are on a small corn tortilla, which I don't mind if they are good because they are only $1.50. But Wow for this price the or flavorful & tasted .Com. The three sauces that they had were . I ordered 3 of each & My bill came out to $21.75. They also had radishes, cucumbers & red onions on the side as well. These little 's might have been small but they definitely made up for in flavor. Even though this was a food truck, they still had seating outside where you can sit and eat or take your food to go. Definitely will be back on a Tuesday to give these guys another try. Loved this late night spot. Was craving some tacos and since it was Tuesday... had to do Taco Tuesday. There tacos were $1.50 each. They do charge tax on top regardless if it's cash or card. I got 4 tacos, I would say order as you go so they stay hot. I did 2 each time. With the special it's only the first for meats: Asada, Pastor, Chorizo, Chicken. I really liked the Asada, but the pastor came with guacamole which was really good too. She ask if you want everything: onions, cilantro, grilled onion (these were bomb and on the side) and grilled jalapeño. In terms of drink they had Agua Fresca Mango and Horchata which were $5 in the big cup. Location had plenty of parking and not hard to find. Located near the light so safe. Wish I could leave a better review, I actually decided to give this place a try due to the great reviews. Coming back from noche de altares event in DTSA with my husband we stopped by and ordered 6 tacos, 1 pastor quesadilla, 2 glass drinks & we paid around $33 (we weren't give a receipt). One of the tacos was missing (a birria one) The asada tacos were only okay, the pastor was really greasy completely overpowered any flavor if it had any, especially the quesadilla. Then we found a hair in the quesadilla and I noticed there were two younger looking guys cooking the food and one had long hair and wasn't wearing a hair net. I know that hair nets are not the most fashionable things to wear but when you are cooking peoples food it's important to make sure you do it to avoid getting your hair in their food. I can't recommend this taco truck due to this experience, which is a bummer because it's not too far from us and I would have been willing to come back again if not for that. Giving two stars because they were at least wearing gloves and I don't think they did it maliciously, the cashier was friendly and we didn't wait long. read more

I've come here too many times not to leave a review. They are very consistent, sometimes taco trucks may not be where they usually are, but this one always is without fail at the time listed on Yelp. Taco prices are good, the tacos taste good, and they have a large variety of meats. Usually, you have to either go to either a regular taco truck or a Birria taco truck, but this taco truck has every meat including Birria. On Tuesday's their tacos are $1.50 each, the deal is insane. Went to this truck, last night after Cholos Tacos was packed. The tacos are priced right but nothing really that stands out about flavors. TJ tacos are known for their mesquite flavors and these ate ok, they need better distinct seasonings, if the meat is not grilled. Teetering on 3 stars cuz the filling is a little less, BUT overall taco is pretty good. Tripas is super crunchy and not smelly at all. The tortilla is very soft and tastes yummy. 50¢ use for card === They park in a business center area, so parking is pretty easy. No prices available, I paid $7/3 tacos, kinda more pricey than others but it tasted good. Tripas I asked for extra crispy, and they certainly delivered. It was CRUNCHY and not smelly, different flavored than other places but I enjoyed this one. Carne asada Ok but I'd pass on this. It wasn't anything special. Cabeza Tender, but def needs more filling! They had a small spit of Al Pastor and the horchata in the truck looked pretty brown - will have to try it next time. I'll come back to the the cecina and get more tripas. read more
