Consome, tacos de birria, pickled onion&limon

We stopped by after seeing the Birria flag driving by for groceries, and were not disappointed!! Tried the Birria tacos and they are by far ranked in the top for this area flavor wise, and they didn't take forever which is a bonus. We will for sure be back to try their pupusas or tortas too.

We drove by this food truck sitting in the Tacketts Mill commuter lot a few times and were curious so we decided to grab some dinner from here. Luckily, you don't really have to worry about parking here. We ordered 4 tacos (2 chicken, 2 chorizo) and chicken and cheese pupusas. It wasn't busy when we got there but more and more people started coming to place orders. Wait only took about 10 minutes for our stuff. The tacos were pretty big. They did not skimp on the meat. Both the chicken and chorizo were seasoned well. The chicken specifically was really juicy. My girlfriend really liked her pupusas but couldn't finish them (I did). They were hot and crispy on the outside with a good amount of filling inside. Very cheesy. I will definitely be coming back to try their birria and tortas but I also saw in some pictures they had tamales so that would be great as well.

Food truck parked at Tacketts mill commuter lot. Been there for a while so finally decided to give it a try. We ordered the tacos dorados(fried tacos) and pupusas revueltas...prices are great btw. The fried tacos only came with chicken and were very good 4 tacos full of chicken as you can see in the pic! Pupusas were ok, not great, but worth of the price of $7.50 for three! The masa dough was not dry but not quite right...maybe not enough filling or grease...just not as great as other pupusas I've had before. I would say we will definitely go back for taco/ though!

Antojitos Mios is a little Latin food truck that you can find in a parking lot, right off of the Lake Ridge Commuter Lot. Their menu has pretty simple offerings, such as tacos (asada, pollo, carnitas, or chorizo), tacos dorados, huaraches, tortas, quesadillas, burritos, tortas, and pupusas. We came here for lunch, and we ordered: +birria - this is only available on Thursdays and Saturdays, so we were pretty excited; the quesabirrias were filled to the max with the tender shredded beef, and they were juicy and tender; the consommé was okay for the dipping action; the hubs enjoyed this, and he stated it was one of the birrias he's had in the area +tacos dorados - four fried tacos stuffed with chicken, onions, and mozzarella cheese, served with shredded cheese, avocado slices, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and sour cream; these were more like taquitos; I didn't really taste any of the onions inside the dorados, and I didn't see any diced onions topped on this entree (and, I LOVE onions!); the chicken was a little dry and could have been more seasoned/flavorful; these were just okay, and better with the tomatillo-based hot sauce that it comes with +pupusas - comes in 3; you have the option to have these filled with just cheese, pork & cheese, beans & cheese, chicken & cheese, or mixed beans & cheese; we opted for the cheese, and these were the favorite of the order - the pupusas were generously filled with the cheese and was cooked well; I usually like mine a little bit more crispy, but these were super cheesy and delicious! I was surprised that there was no red sauce included, but using the tomatillo-based hot sauce, it was a good complement Service was super kind and friendly, and everything is made-to-order; note that it does take time for your order to be ready. We were quoted 20 minutes, but it was more like 35+. There is no seating, so it's just to-go; there also seemed to be call-aheads and online ordering, as there was a slight delay in terms of the queue. I'd love to try their tacos and burritos next time, but definitely will be returning for their pupusas! Plenty of parking in the large lot. +cheese pupusas! +friendly staff! +made-to-order; longer wait times +plenty of parking +located by the Lake Ridge Commutor Lot

This food truck is a hidden gem ! It was also my second time, trying out another food. The first time I had Pupusas, it was tasty ! I had the ones with cheese & pork and cheese & chicken. They both were tasty, that I would get them again. This time I had they're steak tacos, it was absolutely delicious and filling ! It comes with this green spicy sauce on the side, which I like. The food takes about like 15 min to make, you may call ahead or you can go grocery shopping next door. I was satisfied with my meal, this taco & pupusa truck is worth to check out.

I treated myself to some of their delicious food, my son had been telling me how good the food was. I had a burrito and chicken pupusas. The food is well seasoned and was very fulfilling. Customer service was great. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself.

Just as good as my first visit. Tried out the pupusas and torta this time. Packed with quality food and flavor plus the customer service is always personable and friendly!

    Huarache con asado, $11
    Barbi H.

Oh, my!!! My food was absolutely fantastic!!! I ordered the Huarache con asado for $11. I was informed I would need to wait 15 minutes for my meal. As this is a food trailer, I waited in my car. About 9 minutes later, the gentleman who took my order was knocking in my window with my food. He'd kindly brought along a yummy cup of a warm drink made with corn (as it was about 40 degrees outside & windy). I almost ate my whole meal before my husband came home, but I made sure to save some for him to try, as it was just that fabulous!!! We will be back this weekend.

Totally fire! This is the only Mexican food I've had since living in LA that actually has flavor. Don't bother with any restaurants in Woodbridge, just come here instead. The birrias tacos (available Thursdays and Saturdays) were delicious and the people who work there are incredibly friendly. I definitely recommend!

The restaurant looks like a cozy hole-in-the-wall restaurant, so it was a very casual atmosphere. I ordered a Guatemalan-Style Chicken Tamal and a Chicken Pupusa with a Fruit Juice Drink (Ensalada de Fruta). The Fruit Juice Drink was full of cubed apples and was on the sweeter side, but it was refreshing for sure. Now onto the food... Guatemalan Chicken Tamal - This has to be one of the best tamals I have ever had! I am used to the Mexican tamales that are on the dryer side, but their tamal masa was gelatinous almost like a custard, and there were big pieces of chicken meat inside. And the plus side is that the chicken was 99% meat and 1% fat! They did not skimp on the meat in this one. Chicken Pupusa - I am used to greasy pupusas, but their pupusa was significantly less greasy, and that is a HUGE plus. Also, these pupusas were less than $5.00 each and came with a huge side of cabbage. The cheese-to-meat ratio inside was also pretty decent; I would say 60% cheese, 40% meat. My husband absolutely loved all the pupusas he ordered and even bought some to take home to our family. We were served by one of the owners who was very sweet and spoke to my husband in Spanish and me in English; this means a lot to me because in other places, I tend to be ignored while they speak Spanish to just my husband. When we are back in Virginia, this will be one of our go-to spots for Salvadorean food. We are used to pupusas being over $5, but these pupusas were less greasy AND much more affordable.

I wasn't feeling up to the big chains and places I wanted to try seemed to close early. Luckily this place was open and I had been wanting to try it for a while. Definitely it let a hidden gem! There are some parking spots right in front, although not many. There is a decent amount of seating, but it would be tight if you had a large party. My partner did note that the bathrooms weren't that great. You immediately get served complementary chips and salsa. They were pretty basic, but not bad. We ordered the following: + Papusas (Pork and Cheese & Loroco and Cheese) - Decent, although I prefer the Loroco (an edible flower bud). + Pollo à la Primavera (chicken dish) - Yummy, especially the sauce which mixes well with their hot/spicy sauce too! I could do without the salad dressing. + Camarones con Calabeza (shrimp dish) - Same as above! Note they leave the tails on. + Natural Juices (Mango and Maranon) - So refreshing! I loved the Maranon (cashew apple) was a wonderful burst of tropical sweetness with a subtle nutty taste. I appreciate that for the pupusas they had the foresight to provide my partner and I two plates so we could sphere the papusas. The portion sizes of the entrees were great for the price. It did take a while for the staff to swing by so that we could get boxes and the check. Note that credit cards and mobile pay are accepted. I definitely wouldn't mind coming back again to try more items on their menu.
