Look I don't know which truck this is for, I just know I went to Taqueria El Sabor 1 at the intersection of Gideon and Smoketown. They got a simple menu, burritos, tacos, quesadillas, tortas, and steak and cheese. I ordered one of each taco and a chicken quesadilla. The lady working in there works super fast and got me my order in 10 minutes despite multiple people ordering. Everything I got was super flavorful and the salsa gave it a tiny kick, but it's not really that spicy. Love that they did a double tortilla (as they should). The chicken I got on the first day was a little tough but I came back the next day and it was better. Hard to decide which meat was better but the steak quesadilla was probably my favorite thing. We drove about 50 minutes to Woodbridge in order to try out this taco truck and the food was absolutely worth it! This mom and daughter duo crank out some of the tastiest tacos we've ever had! These tacos were even better than the ones we have had in Austin, Texas. It is really easy to make a dry chicken taco, however the chefs at El Sabor somehow made their chicken meat moist and flavorful. The chorizo was hands-down the best taco there. We even decided to get a quesadilla plate and honestly, we would never want to go anywhere else for a quesadilla! The pièce de résistance was their amazing red sauce. We are generally not fond of red sauce but I would buy a bottle of their homemade red sauce any day! Seriously, their food is on par with the mexican food i had from the taco truck in Tucson, Arizona and that says alot. I got the two chicken and two steak tacos and they were more than enough for a filling dinner. My SIL got the quesadilla and it comes with sour cream, rice and lettuce/salsa. The combo made for a filling meal and the rice was cooked really good, as was the quesadilla. They did not have verde sauce, just the red sauce. I am hoping they can add verde sauce to offer as well. These tacos are a favorite for us! We found this taco truck randomly one weekend and it hasn't let us down. It's parked on the street right next to PepBoys on Route 1. Our first time out we tried ALL of the tacos. No one meat was left out. All were flavorful but the CHICKEN, was top tier. Rarely do you find chicken tacos cooked with such FLAVOR in each bite! The salsa roja on the side has a nice heat, not too much but absolutely flavorful. If you're hungry then 3 tacos will fill you up, but if you want left overs we suggest adding a quesadilla. My friend and I happened to be in Woodbridge and were craving some mexican food. We stumbled upon this taco truck on yelp and saw it had great reviews so we decided to give it a try. I tried the steak and chicken tacos, and my friend go their burrito. Upon ordering you can either pay before or after getting your food. Prices aren't listed on the board, and the lady taking our order didn't know what to charge us. The order came out to be $3/taco and $9 for the burrito, which I found to be little pricey. We were able to watch a glimpse of them making the food through a window. I looked as though they pre-package their rice in plastic and heat it up like that prior to assembling thing burrito. When we got our order, I was happy to see that they were generous with their filling but, the meat wasn't seasoned well. All I could taste was salt. I found the chicken to be rubbery and the beef was chewy, both of which were very oily. My friend could barely eat half of his burrito. I honestly don't know why this place has so many 5 star reviews, perhaps I didn't order the right item or caught them on a bad day. The meat in the chicken tacos was seasoned very well and had just the amount of heat, which could be increased by the addition of the hot sauce provided in the container. Came with radishes and limes on the side. I also tried a steak quesadilla, which was good but the meat wasn't as well seasoned as the chicken. Chorizo was also on the menu, but didn't try that this time. A little on the pricey side, but for the portion sizes and quality I wouldn't say it's too expensive. I was hoping for pickled radish but it was just regular radish. The meat was very juicy though. the limes she gave were nice as well. Also they gave this nice hot sauce which was a little spicy and sweet and went perfect with the limes on the tacos. I also got the burrito which was not that great tbh. They give you a nice big taco with double tortilla and a generous amount of meat to enjoy. They make sure they put enough limes and picante sauce for your tacos and smother it in cilantro and onions.
