We Stopped Eating Here, The Portion Are Smaller, The Tortilla Are Smaller & The Plate Size Are The Same, Compared To Other Visits, The Price Are High For Smaller Portions. Not Good

Excellent, quick service. Cute atmosphere. Delicious food!! You order and pay at the counter and then food and drinks are served to you. We had a party of 12 today and I feel like we got our food quickly. Drinks were very prompt as well. The burritos were huge! Several of us got chili rellenos and they were delicious! Perfect rice and beans. 2 of our kiddos got crepes and loved them. The only thing we didn't like was the chips that came with the chips and salsa. They were too hard. And they cost extra. No one at the table would eat them after the first bite. But everything else was fantastic. We will definitely be back!

Stopped by for lunch yesterday and it was a GREAT experience!! I like how they have it set up where you order at the front counter and go find a table. The food and drinks are brought out to you and everyone is so nice there! I ordered the Idaho Burrito. They also have a salsa bar and their hot salsa is actually really hot (and DELICIOUS!!!). Nice to have a new spot in town with awesome customer service, great food, and large portions. Will be back soon!

Has potential... While it's a tad cold inside, the owners put thought into the ambience and it is a welcomed difference to so many other Mexican eateries here that failed on that front. I don't love ordering from the front kiosk, especially considering the ample menu as it cheapens the experience I believe they were trying to create. This is Jalisco style Mexican food and they've got a salsa bar...something that made way of the dodo bird these past three years. I appreciate the options. Tacos were good, seasoned, and balanced, albeit on the smaller side. Sope was unsuccessful...both overly thick and densely wet. Strange. Fry it so it's crunchy and make it less than 1/2 inch thick. Is lettuce a thing on sopes in Jalisco? Finely shredded cabbage, crema, and cotija cheese is all that's needed and will separate it from the other restaurants. Gorditas were nice...crunchy and pillowy.. Crepes...the batter was a bit dense and they were too thick to be crepes. To improve consistency, sift flour into liquids slowly, wisk, and let batter sit for an hour or two at least. Perhaps that will help the consistency be airy, fluffy, and light. Fillings were nice and ample.

I didn't know what to expect. The sign says crepes. I was more curious than anything. This is an order and sit place. The young lady taking my order was happy and attentive. I found a table and my drink was brought to me promptly by a nice lady who appeared to be management. I received someone else's order by mistake, which made my day because it was a plate of some of the finest looking Mexican street tacos I had ever seen! I had ordered carnitas and I started getting excited. Spot on! Just spot on! My food was phenomenal, especially at the price point. Also, the salsa bar, very important to me, was great. If I had been any more impressed, I would have been flagging people down in the street out front, "You gotta try this!" As lunch time hit full swing, it started to look like maybe the words getting out as the line grew. I like to try new places, but I often leave disappointed, not this time.

This place deserves your attention. Superb service, amazing salsa, chips & bean dip. The best…read moresavory fish tacos I've ever had, so tender & citrusy. Did I mention the Cucumber Margarita?? Get in here, have a stupendous meal & give them a great review! I wish they were in my home town....

So as a local I absolutely love their food the flavor is alway on point. But…read more.... We came in and ordered the fajitas and I gotta tell you, don't, just don't. Theirs so many better options out there. Let me expound, they give 4 tortillas less than a spoon full of guacamole maybe a spoon full of sour cream and ZERO cheese. Our waitress was rude and completely messed up our drinks cause she wasn't even listening. I'm like ok no problem will just take them at 15.00 a drink. If you want WAY better service and food all the way around go to Janitizios. They have fajitas where the extra mile to drive is well worth it . We've been there so many times but because of the time they were closed. This is now a second time fail on el Caporal. Last time it was the lack of communication on their seafood. I've gotta say as a local I'm probably not gonna return to this establishment. Obviously the owners do not pay attention to where the mistakes need to be addressed. With so many options available in twin I'd say avoid this place and seek way better options. Sad to see a restaurant capable of doing better and actually offering the amount proportionate to the plate completely fail on every level. But also seeing other restaurants have the ability to fullfill that at a way better price refreshing. Janitizios for the win!!!
