Just popped in at happy hour for drinks and snacks.Plenty available.Servers were friendly and diligent.Even with a full bar the place wasn't noisy.Several TV's catered to soccer and baseball fans.Reasonable prices make this venue worth a return trip.

I'm always searching for good Mole and Antojos has it. In fact, everything I've tried here is very good so I'm a little surprised by the 3.5 star rating. The staff is very helpful and friendly and has great suggestions about what to order too. The restaurant is comfortable and the Happy Hour is decent too. I'm going to post pictures of my Chicken Mole because I think it's some of the best I've ever had. The spice level is subtle and not overpowering. I like it since I could taste their Mole and enjoy it instead of it being too hot and just tasting the heat. I will be returning again for some of the other items on their menu that loook good including the Carne Asado. We had a nice time here and what I tried of the food has been excellent both times I visited. I'm definately going back for more.

LOVE this place. They were closed for some time and now they are open. The wait staff are attentive and this is one of the only restaurants that serve chips and salsa AND Bean Dip (which is soooooooo good!!!) for FREE! You can't even go wrong here when they do this already. The food is so fresh and delicious from their tortillas made on the spot, to everything else including drinks. I have come back and back again. Countless of times because the food, ambiance and service is exceptional. I also found out that the owners also help great organizations and nonprofits. I highly recommend this place!

Great food, service was wonderful and gave my wife extra of the pickled carrots that she loves. The beans were full of flavor, and chimichanga was perfect. Atmosphere was pleasant and had a southwestern vibe, with a modern twist. Prices were so reasonable. They have daily specials which can make it even cheaper.

Pleasantly surprised with Antojo's! I drive by frequently and have never stopped in until a friend asked to meet for dinner. Atmosphere is fantastic- tons of seating, great decor. Parking is not great, limited spots. It was packed on a Monday evening. Service was attentive. Antojo's serves chips, salsa and bean dip at no cost! I ordered the chicken mole enchiladas - very yummy- not the best I've had- but yummy! I had the very berry margarita- also great! Overall great experience.

Here is our updated review: We used to love this place--especially for their enchiladas and moles. It was our go-to spot for family dinners on 38th St. I want to start by giving credit to the general manager. He was professional and calm when I initially spoke with him about a recent incident, and I appreciated how he handled that first conversation. Unfortunately, our most recent experience was deeply disappointing and even harmful. We had ordered two burritos for lunch while working at a client's house on N Jackson Ave. As my father was finishing his burrito, he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his mouth--like he had bitten into a rock. It turned out he had bitten into something hard that should have been filtered out before cooking. After speaking with the GM and his follow-up with the kitchen team, the conclusion was that it came from a bean stalk--something that ended up in my dad's food. As a result, my father--who's nearing his 50s--lost a tooth. Days passed, and we hadn't heard any follow-up from the GM. However, once we posted a Yelp review, the general manager reached out to us immediately. While we appreciated the response after the review, it's unfortunate that it took public feedback to prompt any real follow-up. We used to recommend this place to friends and family, but after this experience, we're seriously reconsidering that.... As of today's date 6/12/25 Today, the owner or franchise has refused to cover the dental bill for my hard-working father--which was all we asked for. This situation has caused not only physical pain but financial stress as well. We are now left with no choice but to seek legal counsel moving forward.

Food was a great with a wide range of everything. Service was okay but it took them a long minute for them to bring waters. Had tv's everywhere playing a lot of things so it never got boring in there. Definently should go if looking for Mexican food around the area.

We are in town on vacation. We ate here for lunch with our friends today. The food here was amazing! Everything was fresh. We had great service. We had the 8.99 specials! Can't beat that deal.

Sad over-fried gross tasting piece of fish from the fish taco
    Val B.

Went there with my partner before dinner rush and decided to sit in the restaurant section where there were 3 tables occupied with the ppl already eating. Got to our booth, put in drink orders. 4 ppl came in after us and were seated behind us. They got their drinks first. Weird cause we only ordered soda drinks and they had cocktails and shots. Whatever. Got our chips and salsa, which was great cause once our food order was in, it took almost 40 min to get our 3 fish tacos and burrito plate. But guess what? The ppl behind us got all their food within a regular/expected amount of time. Our drinks were gone by the time the food came and we couldn't get the chance to order a drink refill because the server rushed away once he set the plates in front of us. I have worked in hospitality and I know things can get fked behind the scenes. However, by having your customers wait without an explanation makes you look sloppy and rude. Our server was mostly non-existent and just a "hey my apologies, we're [insert excuse] so service may be a bit tardy" would be fine. So that's the service. Now the food. No. My partner had a burrito plate that was bland and sad looking and I had the 3 fish tacos which were unseasoned and really just an over-fried fish finger in a sad corn tortilla with some bland sauce on top sprinkled with some cabbage and tomatoes. The fish tasted gross and way too fishy so it prob pass expiration date. I mean, look at the picture! It was so sad looking I couldn't stop laughing. If you have never had Mexican food, sure go here. Only because any other Mexican restaurant afterwards will be mind blowing. Or if you can't handle any spice other than some salt, this place will be great for you. But really don't. It's a waste of time and money.

We stopped in to check out the bar the other day. The chips and salsa were delicious! Actually, the salsa may be one of my favorites I've had at a restaurant. We ordered bean and cheese pupusas to go. Unfortunately, when we got home, we realized there were no beans. When I called, they asked if I wanted to come back and get the correct ones. I did, but that was another 30 minutes or so out of my evening. Otherwise, the bartender was really nice and the space if also very pretty.

A ten spot? For all this?

In fact I didn't like any of the salsas they offered, the green salsa was the only decent one and I'm sure the orange looking salsa was on its way out, it tasted and smelled funky. Customer service was great. We might come back just for asada tacos but maybe not.

Love the dark aesthetic and chill vibes. Everyone was friendly and food was excellent. My favorite dishes are the rib eye tacos and birria beef tacos. Rib eye steak was tender and had a hint of that char grill flavor. The birria tacos and consomé was also really flavorful. We enjoyed the tequila flaming fajita and the mini flame show as well lol. The chicken and shrimps were good but similar to my experience at the South Center location, the beef was really chewy (like over cooked). I also think they served way more veggies compared to meat proportions for their fajitas. My Dad got the burrito especial with grilled chicken and it was huge! He thought it was alright and got sick of it pretty quick because of how much rice and beans there were. We also ordered the margarita flights which were served in these cute mini glasses. I thought the pineapple coconut had the strongest alcohol taste whereas the passion fruit-guava and pina azul tasted like juice (I'm not a big drinker so I thought it was perfect). The pina azul tasted similar to a flat Baja Blast from Taco Bell with a hint of alcohol. Overall, we enjoyed our experience here. The only negative thing is we made a reservation at 8:00PM and came early at 7:30PM; at check in, they said at first we could get in sooner since we arrived but then quickly was told to actually wait until our reservation time (and that's totally fine and makes sense since we reserved for 8PM!!). I was just confused because the group that were walk-ins waiting got to go in before us. There wasn't anyone else waiting for a table and by the time they sat us, turns out there was plenty of open tables available... I just thought they'd want people to be seated sooner if they've arrived and had tables available since it was already 8PM and they close at 9PM lol.

We were in the area and were feeling hungry so we decided to stop by. The parking was pretty packed but had a spot or two so we were able to secure a spot. Once we entered, there was a sign that you could clearly see that said wait to be seated and it wasn't long until someone came by. We were greeted by a female hostess who smiled and professionally lead us to a booth to sit at for dinner. The menu was pretty extensive but not overwhelming as they had their alcohol drinks separate from their menu. A male server stopped by with some chips and salsa which I think is now fighting for best house made salsa that I've had in Washington. We ordered the combination dinner, I got mine with the tamale and tostada with chicken while my boyfriend got the chimichanga. We got another refill of chips which were not too salty and the perfect size to get a good chunk of salsa. We eventually had two waiters who was a young gentleman and an older gentleman but they were both so courteous and friendly. This was also probably the fastest we've gotten our food at a Mexican restaurant as it arrived maybe 8-10 minutes after we placed our order. The plates arrived nice and hot with the food portions being huge and the presentation was lovely! I wasn't a huge fan of the chicken as it felt more on the dry side for me but I also just don't like white meat and my boyfriend said it wasn't dry at all. I did love the amount of toppings on the tostada as it was stacked high with fresh ingredients on a bed of refried beans which was seasoned perfectly. The tamale was also absolutely delicious and I have had many tamales and I can say this tamale is immaculate. My boyfriend's chimichanga was delicious too from the bite I had and how he cleaned his plate. I can vouch that this place is authentic (dated a Mexican guy and their family spoiled me with amazing food and parties) and my boyfriend agrees that this spot is the perfect place for amazing Mexican food for those who are wanting to try or are hesitant. The staff here are super friendly and professional, they will even pack up your food! It just felt like going to a friend's to enjoy amazing vibes, fantastic food, and a overall good time. The ancho, guajillo, and achiote citrus slow‑roasted pork was rich and tender, perfectly balanced by cumin black beans, pickled pineapple, white onion, and serrano salsa. Every bite had depth, heat, and brightness. Served with fresh housemade sopes, it was comforting, flavorful, and beautifully layered. A perfect bowl for any season.
