My wife and I were super excited to come here duh to great reviews. I ordered the combo meal with tomato soup and avocado sandwich. My wife just got a full avocado sandwich which is advertised as coming with chips. It no joke came with 6 chips out of a Costco value pack. My wife was happy with her meal otherwise. Food was good. My soup was good, just a tiny portion. Now the sandwich is where I was very disappointed. I looked at it, see photo, and was astonished to see there was hardly any bacon. I asked if they forgot to put the correct amount. I was told a full sandwich only gets 1 strip of bacon! And since mine was a half I only got 1/2 a strip of bacon. Now I paid around $10 for the meal and all they can give me is 1/2 of a strip of bacon. That is why the 2 stars. The avocado helping was pretty weak as well. read more

Why oh why do so many restaurants have to let me down??? I went into Antonella's expecting some of the best Utah County cuisine around, and what I got was a bland hamburger, a decent turkey sandwich, and a subpar cannoli (which is a crime for any restaurant claiming to be italian). Let's start with the hamburger. I love hamburgers. I consider myself to be a true aficianado of gourmet burgers, dive burgers, and everything in between. I have found incredible burgers in the most unlikely of places, ranging from the greek burger at Apollo Burger (a truly phenomenal fast food burger if ever there was one) to the El Diablo burger at The Junction (a pizza burger dive type restaurant which happens to serve the best burger in the whole state). So I had no problem ordering a burger at this italian cafe and expecting it to delight me (as many reviewers have raved about the burgers here). Unfortunately, the burger at Antonella's had absolutely no flavor. The toppings were fine, but the meat itself was tasteless and bland and it ruined the whole affair for me. I couldn't even eat it. The sandwich I got (bacon, turkey, avocado) was much better, but it wasn't anything I would go out of my way for. I've had similar sandwiches at places like Kneaders. And if you want the best Turkey Bacon Avocado panini in the state, you've got to get the one at Gourmandise. And finally, the cannoli. I freaking love cannoli (I lived in Italy for a while) and their pistachio cannoli looked delicious. The shell was fine, but the filling was weird and gummy, not at all the creamy ricotta filling I was expecting. Overall, it wasn't a terrible meal, but it wasn't anything special either. read more

One of the best eats in Orem. A little hard to get to, it's a little café on the west side of State street, you'll drive past it if you're not watching. So pay attention, you'll don't wamiss out. I discovered this place a couple months ago when looking for a local lunch. I bit into the chicken pesto sandwich and fell in love. I've driven up and down State for 2.5 years, continuously passing up Antonella's because I did not want to stop on the side of the road. I finally decided to bring a friend while she was visiting, and boy am I glad i did!! I definitely recommend their BAGUETTES!!! The chocolate cake pop I had was a tad bit too sweet, but still delicious nonetheless. Their plating is everything! Love the ambience, definitely gonna keep going back. The online menu doesn't provide a description of any of their dishes but we ordered the pastrami burger and the chicken pesto sandwich and they were both delicious. The patty on the pastrami burger was thick and juicy and the pastrami had a really good quality and flavor. It seemed like it had a garlic aoili sauce that was tasty. The chicken pesto sandwich had a great pesto sauce on it and the panini bread was soft and had some yummy seasoning on it. We'll definitely eat here again! read more

I was really excited to try this place after reading all of the reviews! However, I am disappointed. Disclaimer: this review is based off of the business itself and not the food. I left before even getting the opportunity to try it! First of all, if you are interested in the pizza. They only serve it after 4... which is what I came for, but I was willing to try something else on the menu. So, I went for the chili in a bread bowl... well they also don't have that today... So Antonella's why are there things are your menu that you can't order? After the frustration, I just kindly said I'd go somewhere else. The lady working was not helpful AT ALL. If she were to have recommended a couple of things, I would have stuck around to try them! But, she obviously didn't care to have my business. I will be coming back with my husband to try the pizza at a later date, and will update my review then. read more

I want everyone to go here!!! In my opinion, it's the best place for sandwiches and burgers in Utah Valley. The bread is amazing and the bun is part of why I think their burgers are the best. They use the really good mixed greens which I think is super important. The food has always been very well prepared and comes out all pretty. Their fruit tarts (and sandwiches) are way better than Kneaders. Forget Kneaders. Also, I got a mocha frap as well and it was also very delicious. read more

I have driven past this place for years and never noticed it. The most quaint family run cafe that will give you all the feels. Turkey Bacon Avocado was amazing and I don't have words for the Tomato Basil soup. The service was everything you would expect at a "ma & pa" shop. Took my little guy and they gave him a cookie while we waited for our food. Prices are a couple dollars higher than the typical UT County cafe, but totally worth it! I attended a Yelp event here and got to sample a few sandwiches, pizzas, and desserts, and it was all pretty tasty. The pepperoni pizza stood out as especially flavorful. Antonella's atmosphere was a bit rustic, almost Twin Peaks (Sorry, didn't get to try the a coffee or the pie). Such a quaint little restaurant! Stopped by for lunch this afternoon and we enjoyed the place all to ourselves. We were given the menu pretty quickly and the food came out shortly after. Ordered the Caprese sandwich and the Italian sandwich, both made with fluffy ciabatta bread and served with a side of average potato chips. It was fresh and satisfying. After enjoying the ciabatta bread on our sandwiches we decided to buy a loaf of sourdough to bring home with us, have yet to try it!
