I wrote a review about a month ago on Google Reviews about how their broccoli bites has pieces of bacon on them. The owner responded to my comment saying their restaurant does not serve broccoli bites with bacon in them. Well, last week we tried this pizza shop again and they still had bacon in them. I waited over 7 years to return, and it was worse than my last visit. The 2 slices of pizza that they reheated were just awful looking, and even worse looking after they were reheated for, far, too long. The bbq chicken slice was atrocious. It had the most ridiculously awful bbq sauce I have ever had on anything. The sausage slice was so over reheated that the sausage was actually crunchy, and not in a good way, if one even exists. Love it. Tried it twice now. First with the deep dish and shredded sausage. Ma god. Second, hot and honey Sicilian style. Just a lot of attention to detail. Pizza isn't a ton of ingredients. Crust, sauce, cheese, toppings. It's amazing so many places care so little to ensure high standards for each. Not the case here. The tomato sauce is essentially perfect. One of the best Sicilian tomato pies in South Jersey. They have an excellent round pie too.

Antonino's is right up the block (like less than a ¼ mile) from our house and located right next to a convenience store (perfect or grabbing more snacks or a drink). I've passed it a bunch of times since we've moved in and the parking lot is always crowded. They don't partake in delivery or third-party apps like DoorDash so we ordered ahead and quickly walked there to pick it up. It smelled like absolute heaven when we walked in and reminded me of places like home. As always, we ordered way too much and had leftovers for a few days. We ordered a few pies and some apps (of course). Everything was delicious and already dreaming of the next time we order pizza. If you're in Camden County and looking for some good pizza, stop at Antonino's and grab a slice or two. What we ordered: Meatballs - set of 3 meatballs with a marinara sauce. They were good, not great. I expected a more homemade/traditional sauce rather than the food service type. They seemed to be made from a meat-blend and were pretty tasty. If you used some of the sauce from the pizzas, they were much better. Garlic Knots - 5 knots with plenty of garlic and butter. They were good. I've recently been on a garlic knot kick and want to order them from every restaurant we order from lately. I love the crispy-ish outside and the pillowy inside. Yum! Chicken Fingers - a few chicken fingers and a ton of fries. We're also been ordering a ton of chicken fingers lately. I think we're going to find the best ones in the area. The chicken fingers were nicely breaded, served with honey mustard. They were good, satisfied the craving, the fries were just okay. They needed a little salt. Pizza - This was amazing. We ordered our pie with our typical toppings of banana peppers and pepperoni. There was just the right about of floppiness in the crust that made it foldable, yet durable. The cheese was super melty and the toppings covered the whole pie. I liked the sauce that it wasn't too overpowering, but provided just the right amount of sweetness to counteract the spice of the peppers. Tomato Pie- yes, please. It's usually a thick bread (like focaccia) and topped with a tomato sauce. It's dairy-free and great for those who are craving pizza without the dairy! We added ricotta to ours and it hit the spot. Although it came on a regular pizza crust, it was still very delicious. The sauce was a little chunkier than the regular pizza sauce and very well-seasoned. I did see on the menu that you could order it Sicilian-style if you want more of the traditional tomato pie. read more

I was out wandering on a Sunday evening. Hungry and not a chance that I would be cooking that late, I decided search for anything that could be open. I decided to look for something that not a lot of places make these days... Fried panzarotti's. This is what lead me to Antonino's... A typical Jersey pizzeria. Small, not very inviting or comfortable atmosphere. Yet, the young lady behind the Covid shield was very nice and pleasant. I ordered a sausage fried panzarotti and a meatball Parm. When I got this home to open the bag, this panzarotti was huge. Large enough to feed about four people. Really good tasting. I'm usually skeptical about buying meatballs out because they're usually frozen. These seemed to be made on site and were pretty satisfying. The other thing that caught my eye were the amount of assorted pizzas behind the glass for slices. For a Sunday evening when most places will barely have one plain pie for slices, this place had at least 8 different pizzas on display for slices. I will absolutely return for a meal when I'm in the area. read more

Not sure what happened to here. Used to be really good and now it's barely hit or miss. More so miss than hits. The tomato sauce is bitter and the cheese to dough ratio is terrible. And every time I have visit, you can find the guy making the pizza wearing a bandaid on his finger and it's never covered. Gross. The service is as inconsistent as the people answering the phone taking orders. If you want bad attitude with your nasty food, this is the go to place for it. read more

It's simple... their food is great. Haven't ever ate in here, but their take out is great. Normally when you get chicken fingers or wings by the time you get it home it is soggy and gross, but Antonino's has perfected the array of crunchy and crispy wings. Also their pizza is really good. They cook to how you would like. Now onto cheese stakes: We live in the Philly area so our hope are pretty high for cheese stakes, right? They have really good cheese steaks. I had their plain pizza and found it to be quite good. The crust was firm with a bit of crispness, which means it spent enough time in the oven. The sauce is bright and flavorful with a hint of sweetness; a quality in tomato sauce I generally would avoid, but the amount of sweetness works here. There is ample cheese, and good quality, evidenced by the absence of any pooled grease. Lastly, while hot out of the oven is the preferred way to eat pizza imo, this pie is really good cold too. I heard and read so many great things about this place but I cannot give it more than two stars. My order was set to be ready at 4:11. I specifically ordered early to beat the crowd. I ordered through slice app and the app said the order was ready at 4:11. When I entered, first they couldn't find the order and then realized they did have the slip. They told me 10 more minutes. Unfortunately it was 20 additional minutes. I can't say the person at the front was the most cordial either- to any of the 'non regulars'. Anyway, I brought the food home and started serving. We ordered three slices of pizza. My son said it was pretty good - just the plain slice. I had a bite of The pepperoni and it was quite spicy. I'm not a huge pizza eater though so I won't comment. Anyway- I opened the box with two panzarotti. They were HUGE! I couldn't believe how big they were. They were a bit difficult to cut and share but they were tasty. Now here is the kicker. I ordered a $20 chicken parm dinner. It came with a salad b the app didn't say that so I wasn't able to request no onions which I hate, so that salad was wasted, as was the French dressing which was also not requested. Right away I knew it wasn't what I was expecting. I tried the chicken and thought- it tastes like what I can buy at shoprite in the freezer section. Too much cheese trying to cover it up, practically inedible. I contacted Slice about it- and they contacted the restaurant who ADMITTED THAT THE CHICKEN WAS FROZEN!!!! on top of that - the restaurant refused to authorize 'anything' as in reimbursement. I get that they are busy and many people like their pizza but seriously the service is lacking. read more

Four stars just because the cheesesteak wasn't very good. It was hot. And fresh, but tasteless. I asked for provolone and mushrooms and I was hard pressed to find either. However...the pizza was amazingly good. It was still hot when we got it home. We also ordered chicken wings and they we not good at all, but very meaty. The honey/bbq sauce we ordered was good. Pretty decent local pizza joint. Their pizza is really good. Not the best around but above average. My favorite is the Sicilian pizza. It is by far the best in the area. Ask for toppings and they are loaded up with them. I'm always pleased with there Sicilian pies. My son swears by the wings and claims they're the best around. Good job guys keep it up. The BEST pizza place ever! I have been going here for yearsssss and the pizza and staff are always amazing! I love the cheesesteak hoagie pizza it is the best pizza I have ever had. "White pizza with fresh garlic... 10 to fifteen minutes." I arrive in 10 minutes, first time here even tho I only live 5 minutes away. When I walk in, one of the cooks is playing that game where you try and stab a knife between the fingers of your outstretched hand on the counter where they make sandwiches. I figure hey, if he cuts himself and bleeds on the counter, no big deal, my pizza is already in the oven. They ask my name and repeat "White pizza with fresh garlic", the cook turns around and starts making the pizza with minced garlic out of a jar, so not really fresh like they keep repeating. I wasn't expecting fresh garlic, but my mouth was watering when I kept hearing "fresh". So after 10 minutes of waiting, pizza was ready and I took it home. This one of only a few pizza places in South Jersey that I will give 5 stars too. Does not look like much from the outside, but their pizza is absolutely the best. One slice is huge and a meal in itself. My favorite is the sausage as well as the mushroom. Unlike most places, when you get a topping on your slice, the toppings cover the slice all over. First let me say that if it were possible to leave zero stars, I would. I was excited when ordering the $17 margherita pizza with "fresh mozzarella and basil." (slightly expensive for a meatless pizza with 1/2 the amount of cheese on it) However, I was mortified once i opened the box and saw shredded mozzarella and DRIED BASIL FLAKES. I called the owner and asked him to remake, again re-reading the menu description word for word; and he was extremely rude to me. I told him it's not only unacceptable to falsely advertise, but also to not offer to fix something that is clearly not as described on the menu. I wasn't asking for the world. I just wanted what I had overpaid for. After being considerably more rude to me over the phone; he aggresively hammered "that's the way it's always been made." That's basically a slap in the face to all the loyal merchants of the area. The owner might as well have told me: "Look buddy, the people in this area are too stupid to know that fresh mozzarella can't be shredded, and fresh basil looks like a leaf. It's cheaper this way." Shame on the owner for not comprehending the power a millennial has when he posts a negative YELP review for THOUSANDS of other potential pizza suitors. Your pride will cost you.... There's too many above average places in the area to need to settle with this. But, if you're a schmuck who likes below average/overpriced pizza, give it a whirl. I've been going here since I was a teenager, so about 25yrs have changed along with ownership of this place but I still think they are a great place for your average food. Stick to the main average pizza place menu. You get into the complicated stuff and I think there outta their league, plus the owner can be a bit of an a$$ and the cashiers (girls) can be a little dramatic. What a great little secret place! My wife is from New York and is a pizza snob and even she really likes their stuff. Both the round and Sicilian pies are good. So are the chicken cheesesteaks. I absolutely adore this place. I have yet to be disappointed in the quality of service or the food. My husband and I live on Merchant, and despite a huge selection of good Italian shops int he area, we keep coming back to Antonino's. They use some of the yummiest cheese on their pizza that I have found. I'm not sure what it is, but it's just the right blend of melty and salty. The pepperoni is just spicy enough, and the veggies are cooked perfectly. I highly recommend trying the chicken bacon ranch pizza, but add some black olives to it. It's delish! Also, try their pepperoni bites...a great snack that work wonderfully for parties. Whatever you do, do NOT leave out their house special sandwich. Grilled chicken with broccoli rabe and sharp provolone. These guys know what they're doing. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because they're a bit pricey. Ultimately though, it's worth it because of the quality of ingredients. Still, it should be noted. Great service, friendly neighborhood (lots of kids milling about) and excellent food? Antonino's is a tiny store front pizza joint with a few tables and a host of choices. Starting with the pizza.... I am a HUGE fan of the Cheese Steak Hoagie pizza. It is as you wold suspect beef, american cheese, lettuce & tomato on a pizza ;) I try to avoid it but have to have a fix every couple of weeks. They also have a host of other specialty pies like buffalo chicken. They are all excellent. The wings are good as well. They also offer a really good chicken cheesesteak and I always get a side of the curly fries with cheddar. You cannot go wrong and good enough for a side trip to the out of the way place! read more

After a hectic day of work, what is the only thing you don't want to have to deal with once you get home? Cooking! I swung by to pick up a pizza, and once I got home, I saw how under-cooked it was. I'm not sure how that happens when you give them plenty of time to cook it by calling ahead, but I suppose it happens. When I took it back, the owner told me that this was normal, so I very kindly asked for my money back because it was raw and would make us sick if we ate it. He tried to show me other pizzas, to which I still asked for my money back. After arguing with me for far too long (and embarrassing me to at least 5 people waiting in line behind me), I asked him to stop berating me and just give me back my money, as he was not only wasting my time and the other patrons' time, but unnecessarily fighting with a long-time customer. While I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt and allow him to speak, after about 15 seconds of me speaking, he rudely interrupted and said "Are you done yet?" Excuse me? No one deserves that type of rudeness. We live in South Jersey - there are pizza shops in every square mile of this area. I don't care how convenient it is or decent the pizza USED to be, I will never go back nor will I recommend them. Whoa! We just moved to town and everybody raves about the food here. Even our Uber driver, our neighbors, I mean, everybody can't say enough. So in 2 weeks, we tried it twice, and truth is, food is pretty good! Portions big, homemade pastas, nice size salads. Second time, we had panzirottis and they sell frozen or homemade. We only learned this after we made the uniformed mistake of ordering the frozen (smaller) ones, and they were, meh. All bread and deep fried. No thanks. But the biggest issue of all, the front counter lady was a freakin lunatic! She fought with customers, yelled at the men working the line, and even got into a nasty (very personal) heated argument about her bills and homelife w someone over the phone, while we dined a few feet away in the dining room. She was a complete maniac. She yelled at some man, who she called "crazy," she even told me, as I sat with my child, "watch out for him," even tho he seemed like a nice enough guy, and she was the one acting like a reckless loon. He even mentioned to me that he didn't know why she hated him so much, and when he walked away, she loudly proclaimed that she did, in fact, hate him, and then she barked orders at my kid to come get our (flat) sodas off the counter because she was so lazy, and seemingly doing nothing, because she just stood there, to even bother walking the 6 steps to give us our drinks. The guy returned and seemed embarrassed by this worker who was relentlessly attacking him, to the point that it was hard to tell if she was serious or if it was some kind of comedy skit, except she really did quip, at times, that she actually did, hate him. She was a complete out of control brute, and not one person, even a manager type man that also stood around back behind the counter, and seemed to try to calm this employee lady down at one point, could slow down her crazy train. I love Antonino's. Their cheese steaks are great, the staff is friendly, their pizza is pretty good, and they know how to make an antipasto. My only issues: The portions are a bit small for the price (though taste does make up for it) and they don't deliver.
