Overpriced, commercialized Italian. I ordered veal marsala under "Pqsta & House Specialties". What I was served looked like angel hair with meat sauce. No marsala wine, no veal cutlets, veal was crumbled like ground beef $19.95. When asked "How was everything?" I pushed back a half eaten plate of food. I stated, "It was not what I was expecting, "Oh, I'm sorry". No one asked anything further - not a manager, no offer for something else, partial discount - nothing. I paid full price. I could've been more aggressive about it, but I've been in the food service and that usually gets you nowhere. I was very disappointed in their lack of concern. Third time visiting, third time disappointed. I will not be going back. Coppola's in WS is so much better. It's worth the longer drive. read more

I called and place a order for a small napoleon pizza and a small Sicilian pizza and when we went to pick it up they made me a small Napoleon pizza and a large Sicilian pizza and then charged me more without even seeing if it was OK and I would take the large pizza versus what I ordered. I ordered the smalls because I have never eaten there before and I wanted to try them out. The Napoleon pizza was just OK. The Sicilian pizza was awful. It was so dry. Hardly any sauce. There is nothing I like better than meat,cheese and bread; so, naturally,this is a go to place for me. I Like it,but lately the food has had too much chat. A little on your pizza crust is good, but lasagna noodles shouldn't be that way. It has happened on my last two orders,so just a heads up to the kitchen. Food is plentiful and garlic knots are great! My spouse and I visited this restaurant for dinner tonight, and unfortunately, it wasn't the experience we were hoping for. Before we finished our meal and drinks, the waitresses began cleaning -- and I'm not talking about just tidying up a bit, but full-on bleach mopping around us. The overwhelming smell of bleach completely ruined what was a relaxing end to our evening. What was even more frustrating was that this started an hour before closing. We left 30 minutes before closing, and by then, most of the dining room cleaning was done. It was clear that the focus had shifted from providing a pleasant dining atmosphere to just getting the place cleaned up as quickly as possible, making it uncomfortable for the remaining guests. It's hard to imagine anyone walking in at that point would feel welcomed, let alone enjoy their meal. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. I understand the need to clean, but there has to be a better way to manage it without disrupting the entire ambiance of the restaurant. We work jobs that expect us to be present and available the full shift, plus some, so when we try to enjoy an evening out without having to cook on our own it's disappointing to end the dinner/evening is such a way. Elizabeth's Pizza is a place my wife frequently suggests going - and each time we arrive within 2 hours of closing we experience the same thing. At the top of the closing hour they will begin the full dining room clean up. I always hope it's a fluke, but this consistently happens. Maybe it's just us, but smelling bleach and watching mopping happen doesn't really make us feel welcome. read more

This is so close to our home. We really really wanted it to be good. It would be a great neighborhood asset. It's passable but inconsistent. I layed off for a time because when I got home we found the pizza I had ordered for family and guests was burned. but I went back months later. ( we really want them to succeed...and be good). It's ok. I know that's hardly a ringing rave endorsement but I can't go above that. The salads are unappealing, mostly iceberg lettuce and yellow peppers. The staff doesnt seem knowledgeable enough about the menu to offer recommendations or explain the dishes It has/had the potential to be a nice family go to hang out. How wrong can you go with pizza and subs right? We still stop in every once in awhile to see if they have improved. We need a good restaurant in our area. read more

They have left out salads, bread, gave us the wrong kind of pasta several times(the spaghetti is not good, angel hair and fettuccine are good). When you order several items ,and picking up, it's usually an indication that your quests are at your home waiting. Recently moved to the area and absolutely loved the service , My waitress Tiffany was so nice ! It was a chill lowkey laid back environment usually family's dining . I ended up getting calamari as my appetizer their marinara sauce they pair with it is to die for !! We went to this Elizabeth's location on Monday. I think the best one is in Greensboro across the street from Walmart. It was very slow when we came in. No mask, no problem. Walked right in with no mask no one said anything. Food was good, high prices. Pizza was good, but it was $22 for a large plane pizza. Bruschetta was why I took off one star. The bread was soggy, and it was way too salty. Overall it was a good experience. Wait staff did a good job as well. read more

This place is an absolute joke. Do not waste your time. The first time we ordered from here it was alright. We have tried 3 additional times and never even gotten our food. We keep trying thinking it's a fluke situation, but here we are. Told a time to pick it up when we call, tried the app and go there when it says it's ready. Every time they haven't even started our food. The staff is very unfriendly as well. Once you point out the imperfections they immediately get defensive and start acting like you have done something wrong. We really enjoy the 2 topping large pizza special that runs every night but Friday. The pizza is not the best but it has a very very good- chewy crust, lots of tomato flavor in the sauce and and the eggplant and mixed peppers are delicious. I like pizza with a thinner crisper crust, and this place does good with that, the Buffalo chicken pizza is my favorite on the menu, you definitely have to try that. Waited forever for our food while several others were served before us. There was another party inside with a dog, not on a leash and obviously not a service dog. Management said nothing about it. When we complained to the manager about how long our food was taking, he really didn't seem to care. Caesar Salad was good but Chicken Cacciatore was bland. The waitress from the minute we sat down seemed she had something else going on and it wasn't from waiting tables there was only 6 people in the place she got our pizza order wrong after 30min she came out to let us know they were doing another well it was wrong, the meat was raw and the crust was soggy wet, it literally made us nauseous after a few bites!! The Manager was so arrogant he didn't even apologize. NEVER AGAIN! !! Save your money this place is horrible and the staff does Not care about the customer! !! We can literally walk to this restaurant and were so excited when it was being built. However, we have had nothing but disappointing experiences. The service is ALWAYS super slow and the food takes FOREVER. We quit eating in for this reason but then every take out order we got was wrong. For four years plus, we have dined in and had take out from this place. Out of five stars, generally they achieved a solid 3.5 to 4 points. Not so this evening. My husband called in a large pizza, half black olives and onions and half meat lovers. He was given an order number and told it would be ready in twenty five minutes. Arriving at the restaurant about thirty five minutes later, he gave the order number and paid the $27.50 for the pie. To everyone's amazement it was then discovered the order had not been made! They told my husband they would make it and it would be ready 10 minutes or so. Fifteen minutes later, he carried the pie out of the restaurant. Once home, we discovered the sorry mess it was. It was under sauced, over cheesed and soggy. There were no onions on the the side that was suppose to be black olives and onions. The meat lovers side looked like the meat was dropped on in hand fulls, helter skelter. What a disappointment. Truly have had far superior frozen pizzas and not paid nearly thirty dollars. By the way, no apology was made for the pizza not being ready. Rating 2. Time to move on. How sad. read more

I called in an order for 3) Cheesesteak Hoagies last Sunday. Elizabeth's usually has outstanding Cheesesteaks, but not this one. It was ready when I arrived, paid for it, left a decent tip and drove home to my family... mouth watering all the way. When we sat down and opened the wrappers, inside were black hoagies...literally burned bread, black as can be. How can someone process a sandwich without noticing they were black? $35 bucks wasted. Worst meal I can remember purchasing. Won't go back there again. This was too obvious a mistake and would not have taken long to correct. I ordered a steak and cheese sub With extra cheese, mushrooms and mayo, carry out. When I got home I realized they had put lettuce and tomatoes and onions on it , No big deal I could pick off the lettuce and tomato and I could take the onions or leave them no problem. This was the worst steak and cheese sub I have ever eaten. The steak had no flavor the onions were still crunchy and had not been sautéed properly. I really like most Elizabeth's pizza Locations and really like their steak and cheese at every other elizabeth's I have ever been to.
