We came over for dinner on Wednesday and our server was Michele. We ordered a caprese to start with and then a couple of pizzas to split between the four of us here that night. My wife and decided on the Teta's pizza (Pizza sauce, Mozzarella, fresh garlic, tomatoes, Kalamata olives and Feta cheese.) We also split a garden salad (yes it was big enough for two). My son and his wife got the Parma pizza (Made without sauce. Fresh Mozzarella, Parma ham (Prosciutto), rocket (Arugula), cherry tomatoes, olive oil and Parmigiano.) Both pizzas were good and we had enough between us to take home for lunch the next day. I just ate mine while I wrote the review....good stuff. read more

This place has everything Mediterranean, that's for sure. The menu is huge, prices are very reasonable, and Michelle, our server, was out of this world amazing. Thank you, Michelle! We went for the New York pizza instead of the brick oven pizza, and I think we should have gone brick oven for sure. It's just that the brick ovens only come in 12 inches, and if you go to New York, then you can get a larger pizza. Anyway, the pizza seemed light on the sauce and lacking a little flavor, but not so bad. Their salads are great, and they even let us bring our own bottle of wine for a 15 corkage fee, which is awesome. I'm always happy to find restaurants that let you bring your own wine. I placed a to go order for the Grilled Chicken Salad with ranch dressing. The salad was enough for 2 servings and to my surprise, it came with bread. Though the salad was large with plenty of toppings, the veggies could have been cut up smaller and there was no way to customize the salad. The salad came with onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, and provolone cheese. The lettuce was nice and crisp as were the cucumbers but the tomatoes were mushy. The bread was burnt and the ranch dressing was extremely watery like a cup of flavorless milk. I was disappointed in this salad. Not sure I would order this one again. read more

Stopped in a few times for dinner and lunch now and it is consistently good. A fairly large eatery with high ceilings and an all glass front. We have been greeted walking in everytime and the staff are all friendly and professional. The Calamari here is very good, traditional with a side of warm marinara. Cooked light golden, I've had it a few times now and its consistently on point. May be even the best in the Triad area. As well, the Bruschetta Caprese is very good. A large generous portion, delicious, fresh made and enough to share. The Spinach pie is also a solid appetizer choice, four folded baked pies stuffed with spinach and severed hot. The Stromboli Mediteranneo san onions was exceptionally tasty, again a large portion and very easy to share. Nicely baked and great flavor. Also enjoyed the the Ceasar chicken wrap, again a nice portion with grilled chicken, lettuce and ceasar. It was filling, flavorful and well made. Tried the Zataar fries too, a plateful of golden brown fries with zataar seasoning. Piping hot and flavorful. Another solid choice. Mediterraneo has become one of my tried and true dining stops in the area. The service has actually improved from my first few visits. I've occasionally gotten pizza or other pastas, but my normal order is for linguine and clams in the white wine sauce, preceded by the arrival of a simple yet crisp salad and a basket of that lovely bread. Ah, the bread here might be worth the trip on its own, I tell you. This place often seems well attended yet never overrun with customers. My orders are always filled correctly, the food arrives in a timely fashion, and it's a consistently pleasant experience. I do think it'd be nice if the space felt a bit more inviting, but for casual meals it'll do just fine. read more

After moving to Winston, we were exhausted and happened to be at the nearby Publix when we saw the sign for this place. Lebanese and Italian? Okay, I'm intrigued! I ordered a fattoush salad and it was delicious, very fresh with a great Greek vinaigrette. They have a whole section of cheese-less pizzas and the sauce is delicious! My partner thought the pizza could be crispier but when ordered pickup a few days later and had leftovers, the pizza gets so nice and crispy in the oven when it's reheated. Very tasty, good prices and service. We will be going back for sure! Ambiance is a little lacking- it may be where we were seated by the kitchen and servers table. My wife and I had to run errands in Clemmons anyway so we are always on the lookout for new places to eat. We ended up here based on reviews and their menu. They have a specials board outside as you walk in. Check it out. Good stuff! The restaurant is spacious and open. Plenty of seating in booths or tables. We were seating promptly and greeted by our server. They have a very large menu of Mediterranean foods. Be sure to take time to examine it. I opted for the two slice pizza special with a drink for $8.50. My wife order the Chicken Shish Tawooa $13.40 Marinated chicken, pickles, fries, spicy sauce, garlic mayo served in pita. Now the pita wasn't traditional. It was rolled and grilled, just so you know. The pizza was very good. Very thin crust, cheesy, covered in pepperoni and the sauce was just enough. The best pizza I've had in a while. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her "pita" served with chips. The flavors were bright and fresh. So glad we stopped in. We will 100% return here. The wood fired pizza looks amazing and that will be at the top of my list to get next time. Not just two slices, the whole pie! A great place to brings guests as well. I ordered the small Regular Stromboli, adding green pepper and white onion, as usual it comes with Marina sauce. I have dined on this item a number of times at the original spot in Greensboro. Did stick with the Peroni draft! The nicely plated Stromboli was on the table in about 20 minutes, cooked to a preferred golden brown, not the least overcooked. This Stromboli was well filled with cheese, pepperoni, and ham - also nice amounts of the pepper and onion that I added! This was a very nice item, and I am a big Stromboli fan, there are few, if any in the area that I have not sampled, and I'd rate this one as among the better ones. Can't believe I've never left a review for this place, it's one of our favorites! We've dined in a few times and mostly do take out and have had great experiences with both. Most recently we tried their NY style white pizza with for take out and loved it. It is cooked perfectly, so much flavor (for those that are sensitive to garlic this might not be the best option), broccoli cooked to perfection and a great ratio of mozzarella to ricotta. Other things we have had here that we love are the brick oven egg plant pizza, arancini appetizer, buffalo chicken salad, Chicken Shish Tawooa sandwich, chicken Stromboli (chicken is a pulled chicken, not chunks), eggplant Stromboli (comes with vodka sauce side, so good!), and just the regular and pepperoni pizzas. I met a friend there last night for dinner and the biggest issue was that the menu was huge we couldn't figure out what to try. My wife did a quick search for somewhere near our house and found Mediterraneo Pizza and Grill which is located near Publix on Lewisville Clemmons Road. We stopped in about 3:30pm on a Sunday afternoon and were immediately impressed! First of all, it looks brand new it is so clean and well taken care of. We inquired as to how long they had been in the space and I believe she said 6 or 7 years. There are booths and tables throughout and a bar area with counter seating. The kitchen and wood fired oven is in the back of the restaurant. Our server came over immediately and provided us menus and took our drink orders. She was very friendly and we asked her for some recommendations as well. The menu is quite extensive and offers much more than we anticipated. My wife was happy to see they offered a cauliflower crust and ordered the Margherita Hot Honey pizza. I ordered the Meatlovers pizza on traditional crust along with extra sauce. Since we arrived after the typical lunch hours but before typical dinner hours it was pretty quiet when we arrived. We did see a lot of customers come in and be seated after us and there were a couple of to-go orders as well. Our pizzas arrived in a timely manner and looked great! The cauliflower crust only comes in 10 inch but the Meatlovers was 14 inch. My wife really enjoyed her pizza and though it was quite a bit smaller than the traditional dough crust, it worked well for her. My pizza was huge and really yummy and I had leftovers. It gave me that authentic NY style feeling. I appreciated the extra sauce too. We took a paper menu home as well because we agreed this would be a great place to pick up pizzas to take home too. Six of us went here on a Friday evening after a pickleball game without a reservation. We got fast seating and good service. Perhaps more importantly (depending on your priorities), the food was fabulous. We felt that it was better than a much better-known pizza joint in the area. We already have plans to go back. Okay let me start by saying this was delicious. I was in search for an Italian place for date night and their website sucked me in. Truth be told, in person it was a little of a let down. Not as nice inside as I thought it would be based on the menu, prices, and website. The vibe was off, bright lights, paper napkins, and football on. I would keep in mind for a lunch place or quick yummy dinner, but not the right ambiance for date night. The bread was outstanding. Came with oil for dipping, but so soft it doesn't need it!! Cesar salad pretty basic. I had the tortellini alla panna ($17.45) which I enjoyed! Meat filled tortellini in Alfredo sauce with ham. Such a rich salty comfort food and It was even better leftover! First let me start with The Bread! Not only does it come in a basket with your meal, but it's so yummy! Seriously, I haven't had bread this delicious in a long time. We came on a Friday around noon, and ordered off the lunch menu. Lots of choices, most that came with a salad, which I thought was good and had plenty of dressing, and a drink. My lasagna was under $14! My husband' gyro came with fries and a drink for just $14. He said it was delicious and the tzatziki was one of the best he's had. We are spoiled with several excellent Lebanese eateries by our house in Cary, so we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food in the middle of such a rural area. Amazing food for reasonable prices- I'm in! If you're on your way on I40 heading to Hickory or Asheville this is worth a stop (Clemmons). read more

Recently discovered this restaurant in Clemmons and have been several times the past few months- mostly take out. The food is excellent and the portions are huge for the price. My husband has tried several traditional dishes and has been pleased each time. I stick with the Chicken Piccata and I've never been displeased. Comes with homemade bread and side salad, each also great additions. We always have enough for a meal the next day. When dining in, the service is excellent- extremely fast service and fresh food. I don't know what has changed in the last 2 months but I was not at all happy with this visit at all got some of my favorite and nothing came out good . the Margherita Hot Honey Pizza did not taste right at all I can taste the honey but it was not the same at all and I was craving it so bad The mussels in white wine sauce was so bad, had a bad bitter taste to it. I was a little disappointed when I saw that it didn't have as much white sauce as usual but I'm actually glad it didn't because it was not it. If they fired someone bring them back if they hire somebody new please so retrain them and no I didn't complain because even though they closed in a hour after we finished our pizza they was already putting up the chairs and some of the cooks already when home . Placed a take out order as my first visit to Mediterraneo. Asked a couple questions about pizza sizes and what was popular but was pretty sure I'd go w the Napoli, sausage, broccoli rabe (rappini) and cheese it's a white pizza- no sauces so it's in their Bianca section and then from the Rosa is the margherita which is always my husbands favorite. He kind of gets that one everywhere to compare. The restaurant was a good size with a lot of parking and not too busy. I found the pricing is reasonable overall definitely seen worse for pizza so they are pretty average. The staff was pleasant enough not overly friendly but definitely not rude. The girl at the front even brought the pizza to me when it was ready which was nice. And it's very casual, I would have felt comfortable dining in wearing my gym clothes. I live about 10-12 min away and the pizzas were still warm when I got home after doing a few tasks and getting slices plated. Overall both pizzas were good. And we honestly probably could've shared one. I think next time we will pick one and maybe add a salad or app. read more

This was our second time eating here, and it lived up to the expectations that were set the first time. It's always a nervous kind of thing to go back to a place you liked the first time and determine if it was just a fluke or not but all of our food was equally as good the second time around and that consistency means a lot. Unfortunately the restaurant was sold out of both calamari and meatballs which were the two items my 8 year old really wanted and this was her "back to school dinner" so she was bummed. She shook it off quickly though and gave the arancini a chance and liked it a lot. Even my three year old ate her entire rice ball! That is my must get item here. I had lasagna on the brain and after seeing Eric our local Yelp ambassador review it so well here I went with that and was not disappointed. It was unique as far as lasagnas go, flat and wide rather than stacked high, but good flavors and a just right portion. My husband got his usual chicken fettuccine Alfredo and was happy as ever. We split one kids meal between the two kids and it was plenty. One bummer was that we ordered a side of Italian sausage in lieu of the sold out meatballs and it came as little dry slices in marinara. This wasn't good at all and didn't stand up to the rest of the good food on the table. If I was them I wouldn't offer this as a side or I'd have different whole sausages, save these little slices for topping a pizza where they belong. All specials include a drink, some include salad, and all include this amazing bread upon request. Even if you are going for a couple slices of pizza... ask for the bread. You may just take the pizza to go. Lasagna... great sauce, plentiful portion, unique flavor. On point. Meatloaf... very interesting take. Tastes more like slices of meatball, topped with mozzerella cheese and marinara, served with grilled mushrooms. Love it. Chicken Parm...
