It's been over 1.5 years now since my case settled and now that I've had time to reflect, my opinion still hasn't changed about having worked with my attorney, Rejeanne from AM. Prior to AM, Rejeanne was previously with another firm when she switched over to AM in the middle of my case. I couldn't be happier with how seamless the transition was between firms, how focused she was able to be on my case, and how amazingly dedicated the team at AM was in supporting Rejeanne and making sure my case was being properly handled. The attention to detail that the AM team provided was absolutely exceptional! The trial brief that was put together cited important case law that I knew would be extremely relevant to the outcome of my case. While I received a judgment in my favor, I'd still leave Rejeanne and her team a glowing review even if the judgement had been in the other party's favor because they really took the time to look through all my documentation while listening to me in order to prepare my arguments in the best possible way. Everyone's attention to detail and willingness to hear me out, communicate with me, and understand my family's history and story, was really important to me. I also want to point out that hiring an attorney is always going to come at a high financial cost - we all know that and there's really just no way around it. When I look back at the money needed to hire and work with an attorney, I think of it as an investment in my family and my children's lives and the amount it cost to make sure I could do what was in the best interest of our children was forever worth every penny, every dollar ever spent working with Rejeanne. I honestly had a pretty terrible experience with this firm. I was an expensive firm but for the price, they were extremely disorganized. When I showed up to the hearing- the judge, the defendant and myself all had different binder with evidence numbers on it. Making it extremely difficult to hear the case. With the divorce, paperwork wasn't submitted and I wasn't explained all my options (the other side would not sign the papers). After leaving the firm and finding a more competent team, I tried emailing them (without a response) as to my bill because I was charged for things that were not completed. I hired Antonyan Miranda and their attorney John Melvin briefly in 2021 for probate-related work and ended the engagement after about two months due to what I viewed as abusive billing and poor fee transparency. Later, while still employed at Antonyan Miranda, Melvin sued me for those fees in San Diego civil court. His claims were rejected after trial and appeal, and the court ordered him to pay my legal costs, which remain unpaid. I have filed a formal complaint with the California State Bar regarding his conduct. In my opinion, his handling of my matter was irresponsible and caused me significant financial loss and stress. I encourage anyone considering his services to read the public court record first. In May 2025, Melvin left this firm after five years of employment. In my opinion, clients should exercise the same caution with this firm, since my experience with Mr. Melvin occurred while he was employed there. read more

After being robbed from my previous attorney's for my divorce, I decided to terminated them as my counsel. I'll be the first honest review on here I strongly believe that their reviews have been bought or something because there's no way they have perfect reviews. I was convinced that I was going to be in good hands because of the reviews. I am new here to Orange County. They were quick to get me in for a paid consultation . First Mel told me that their retainer was $10,000 Right after my consultation, she met me in the lobby and quoted me at $15,000. I received a follow up email with a $20,000 retainer fee zero explanation .The price change was outrageous within 24 hours. I was willing to pay the prize as long as my case could be resolved. After my paid consultation, I submitted all the documents they requested from me, but there were some questions that were never answered. They gave me the runaround whenever I asked them questions about how they would be approaching the case. The truth is that they cannot help me in the state of California I need to retain an attorney in North Carolina. Had I retained them I would've lost all my money why not be honest and upfront And tell me that you can't help me during my consultation. Mel kept trying to convince me to retain you guys if you know you can't help me. Had I not gone to the court myself today and ask questions I would've paid them and trust them to handle the case appropriately. Honesty and transparency is everything if you are seeking an honest and helpful attorney do not go to this law firm you pay a ton of money for poor representation and help. I don't think they have all the years and experience they claim to have because they should've been able to determine whether they can take my case or not during the consult.
