It is evident that they only want to portray the good reviews, while hiding the bad reviews from their site. With that said. I had my 1st appt with Barb, for a Deva cut. She chopped up my hair so bad, that I cannot style it, I have to wear a headband to cover the chopped up hair, and use multiple bobby pins to try to conceal this horrible hair cut. Barb cut so much hair off that it appears to look like a mullet. I knew things were going bad when she whispered in my ear towards the end of the process that I will love my hair in a month. I left the salon crying because of how bad she cut my hair. When a lady goes to the hair salon, she should leave feeling beautiful, like a million bucks! I left the salon in tears & shock at how she ruined my hair, which will now take several months to grow. Prior to my appt I sent photos of my hair to make sure the stylist can handle my type of curls. She ruined my hair. I called and was refunded for the horrible hair cut, but that refund does not take away from the fact that I have to walk around with a horrible hair cut for the next few months. When I first walked in, I was so self conscious but by the end, I forgot I was basically stripped down in front of a stranger. Evelyn made me so comfortable and she talked to me about all of the issues I had with my skin. She helped me decide on what was good for me and I could not be happier with the results. In all my years of spray tanning, nobody has ever topped Evelyn's work. I go to her because she prides herself on providing quality service. And it shows. My appointment was for Saturday at 2:30. Parking is available at Aldersgate across the street from the salon, but luckily I found street parking. If you're visiting the salon on a weekday, definitely park at Aldersgate. As always, Evelyn was very thorough with me. She explained what she was doing when she was doing it, and made sure the tan was flawless once she finished spraying me. Evelyn provides an exfoliant, aftercare instructions, and lotion to take home with you to use after your shower. The salon itself is cozy and quiet; the perfect addition to the Willow Grove area. Besides spray tans, Evelyn also does sugaring and lash extensions. It's not often that I get spray tans, but I will always refer Evelyn to my family and friends.
