Fit Factory is not a bad gym at all. They used to be more affordable pre-Covid but since then, they…read morehave upped the price of membership. It gets very crowded here; most of the people who work out here tend to be high schoolers and college students. It's hard to find an area in the gym that isn't already occupied by others. They have plenty of machines though available to use and pretty big gym. Lots of parking available, as well, and staff is nice & helpful for the most part. Personal training is offered here and fitness classes. I think that even though the price of their memberships have doubled, getting a membership here is still a good bargain. Their VIP membership allows access to multiple of their locations, bring a guest everyday for free, unlimited cycle classes + studio, sauna, + more perks... all for $34.99/month.

Beware of security policies at this location…read more I had an unfortunate incident this weekend (4/9.2023) in Braintree, MA. I was at the gym from 9.45 until 11. I got back to my locker and it had been broken into. The locker I had chosen had no lock on it and was empty when I put my things in and locked it. The person at the counter said that several people complained about locks being placed on their lockers. The staff seemingly gave that person a lock cutter. No male employees was around so no one verified the situation before or after the locks were cut. No note was left on my locker door explaining what happened. I don't believe they took the name of the person either. All around this was badly managed and communicated. This is not a safe situation in my mind, and clearly they do not have a security policy in place.

I was hesitant about writing this review, but I think it's important to share an honest experience…read more Lighting: The lighting throughout the gym is very harsh--extremely white--and combined with the white walls, it creates an uncomfortable environment. Lighting in a gym isn't just aesthetic; it directly affects safety, performance, mood, and the overall workout experience. Equipment Condition: A significant amount of the cardio equipment is not functional. It's frustrating to see equipment moved from the old location to the new one without being properly repaired. Many machines are in poor condition and need maintenance or adjustment. TVs: All the TVs display the same content, which feels repetitive and uninspired. It would be a big improvement to include a variety of options like music videos, workout-related YouTube channels, educational fitness content, or even news. Music: The music selection is consistently heavy metal, which may not appeal to everyone and can be demotivating for many members. Music plays a major role in workouts--it boosts performance, increases motivation, reduces perceived effort, and helps maintain focus. A mix of genres like EDM, house, pop, and remixes (typically in the 120-140 BPM range) would create a more inclusive and energizing atmosphere. Warm-Up / Stretching Area: The stretching area is too small and cluttered with unnecessary equipment. It would benefit from better organization and the addition of useful items like resistance bands. The current layout negatively impacts the overall experience. Safety Concerns: The hallways leading to the bathrooms are overcrowded with equipment and tools, making the space feel unsafe. In the event of an emergency evacuation, this could become a serious issue and would likely be flagged during a safety inspection. Functional Trainers: Many of the cable machines are in poor condition and need maintenance. Some have uneven cable resistance or mismatched thickness between sides, which directly affects workout performance and balance. Bathrooms: Basic supplies like paper towels are often missing. Additionally, signage encouraging proper use (e.g., not disposing of gum or trash in urinals) would help maintain cleanliness. Water Access: There should be a proper water dispenser for filling bottles. Relying only on water fountains is not practical for members during workouts and doesn't meet basic expectations for convenience. Front Desk Staff: The front desk staff could significantly improve their attitude. They are often not welcoming, which sets a negative tone from the moment you walk in. As the face of the gym, they should create a friendly and professional first impression for members. Overall: The gym has lost the strong bodybuilding atmosphere that made the previous location stand out. Right now, the experience doesn't match expectations. I would recommend management visit facilities like Mass Underground or Olympus Gym for inspiration on layout, equipment quality, and overall environment. At this point, I'm seriously considering canceling my membership

Thought they would at least have some new machines and equipments since they are in a new location…read morebut all the machines are extremely old and dumb bells are rusty. If you have a cut on your hands, I don't know about touching those rusty metals. The rowing machine seat was wobbly. The handle was sticky even after wiping it before use. I didn't want to touch anything else and left. Other than that, the front desk guy was friendly.

At first it took forever for them to have any openings for any Adult lessons. I got the original deal back in May & was not able to get in until Mid-November, the pool was being renovated in Sept until Oct & then was delayed on opening. When I finally did start, I have the most AMAZING instructor!! Vicky is awesome! She takes her time with you, explaining everything, & most all making sure you feel safe in the water. The pool itself is pretty big & there really is not a deep end. The deepest part of the pool is about 5 and 1/2 feet. I am going to re-sign up again for private lessons with Vicky, she has gotten me over my fear of being in the water & has taught me the basics, but I personally would like more lessons, so I can be more comfortable with being one with water. Check one more thing off my bucket list!

Personal LCD screens attached to machines. Cozy and not to big. Free towel service. Cons: A bit on the expensive side compared to Fuzion Sports club nearby. Some of the sales people really go after you to sell you the membership if you get a guest pass. Negotiate the prices even if they tell you that they are fixed.
