I probably should have read the reviews before booking Any Day Movers but I'm glad I didn't because my experience with them was great. I would hands down book their services again and recommend them to my friends, family, and colleagues. I contacted Adam on a Monday morning and was able to schedule a local move for a 1 bedroom apt on Thursday of the same week. Two guys (John and John) came as scheduled and assisted with my move. An exceptional pair - fast, efficient, experienced, and humorous. Their teamwork was great, they made sure my items were safely transported without any damage and answered all of my questions/concerns. When I need to move my items from the storage, I will definitely be contacting Any Day Movers and request for the John duo again. read more

If I could give zero stars I would! We made arrangements with this company to move furniture 3 months in advance and confirmed plans a week prior to the move date... the morning of the move we expecting them at 9am, around 9:30-9:45am we attempted to call for an update- they sent our call right to voicemail. Then the company texted me stating "they were busy" we responded via text looking for an ETA, confirmation of plans etc... and are still awaiting a reply/ confirmation 4months later! DO NOT TRUST- VERY UNRELIABLE!!! Poor customer service. We ended up having to make other arrangements with a Uhaul which thankfully helped us that same day! Shame on them!!! read more

My grandmother passed away and we needed to clean out her apartment at her assisted living facility by today or pay another month's fees. My mother found Any Day on line and the two guys they sent did a wonderful job. Thomas and his partner Greg showed up in a timely manner, loaded things up, unload some stuff at my mom's, picked up other stuff and loaded it all into the impossibly small storage unit we had. Everything was done well, with extreme sensitivity to the fact that we'd just buried my grandmother the day before. What could have been a very stressful situation was made fairly painless by these two men. The price was reasonable and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. read more

They are life savers!!! I had to find movers last minute and everyone was asking for astronomical prices. I called Adam crying because I was so overwhelmed and he was so understanding. He calmed me down and asked me what I needed, what time I wanted to move, and gave the price (super reasonable)! They were scheduled to come at 9 and they shows up at 8:45! The had the truck packed and ready to go in less than 30 minutes. And unpacked it just as fast! I was moved and settled in just over an hour with travel included! I will be recommending these guys to any friends who want to move locally. I used them to move from a 2BR to a two-story house in the Capital District, and they showed phenomenal initiative and thoughtfulness and skill. I picked these guys because they were half the quote of another mover (and there were no surprises on the final price). I didn't realize how good they would be. Let's start with honesty: the prices and timing were exactly as promised. Oh, and one of them found a diamond ring underneath a bookcase, which we had written off as lost, and just handed it to me. They took the initiative to plan the unpacking so there would always be a closed door between the cat and the outside. They took the initiative to put extra padding over a bookcase so it wouldn't be banged by a door. They tightened the screws on the dining room chairs. Most impressively, when the desk proved hard to move, they completely disassembled it, stopped at a hardware store for extra braces, and re-assembled it reinforced and better than before--and didn't even let me pay for the braces. (I had been prepared to write off the desk before they tackled it.) The men they sent had been working together for years, and it showed in their teamwork. read more

DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS. I had scheduled a move with this company months in advance and spoke to Adam on the phone. I confirmed our move day twice with him as well. On our move in day, nobody showed up. I called Adam probably 30 times with no answer. I then called the main company and got no answer as well. Two hours after no one showing up, I had to scramble to find another company (Speedy Movers is the best!) They showed up within the hour and helped me out. I also had a flight the next day so I was in quite a bind. The next day I received a call from the company head and he claimed not knowing what had happened and that he would call Adam. I asked him to reimburse us for the parking spot we had reserved for the moving truck as well as the difference In price we had to pay since we had to pay a lot more for the new company since it was last minute. He refused , claiming it wasn't "fair" to ask for that. He never took responsibility for his worker's actions and didn't even have the decency to reimburse me for any of the extra charges I incurred because of their negligence and mistake. He also never apologized, just stating that he didn't know what happened and that he would figure it out. Fast forward to two months later, still no call from anyone. So this is how the company does business. The least they could've done was call me back or at least apologize. Don't use this company otherwise you risk getting blindsided last minute just like myself no matter how nice they sound on the phone or how many times you confirm your reservation with them. read more

Definitely a "Fly By Night" kind of deal here. The Adam guy who you leave a message with took days to get back to me and even after he agreed to the work I didn't hear back. I actually was somewhat surprised they showed up. They tore up an really expensive couch and refused to try and move another through a tight opening. The worst is after I paid cash, the movers wouldn't give a receipt on the spot for the move. I've texted this Adam a dozen times and at the same time he promises to send a receipt he also claims he's too busy because of work and family commitments to issue one. I can't get reimbursed for the move without one. I would avoid this shady bunch or you will get burned! read more

I have two-thirds of a 10 x 20 storage unit I need moved about 500 feet on the same property into the house I am renting. These people don't even have their own trucks. I would have to pay for them to rent one. In no time he was asking for over 300.00 and when I said it was too high he hung up on me. Seriously unprofessional. Before he hung up he said he'd been doing this type of work for many years. But that does not mean you allowed to rip me off or hang up on me. What this man didn't know because he didn't listen to me when I spoke, was that as a Professional Organizer, I have coordinated many moves for clients and that included getting quotes from and hiring movers. I got a text message with an assurance that I would receive a call later that day. I am still waiting for a call. Glad others have had a good experience with this mover-I did not. read more

In early September, we contacted five local moving companies for a move from Bethlehem to Guilderland. Adam impressed us from the interview: looked around thoroughly; explained what they would do and how they would do it; has an experienced crew rather than relying on temporary help; and had an extremely competitive price. He also seemed to understand that this was stressful for us and took the time to let us know that this was doable (another company kept telling us how this was a really big job, requiring a ton of manpower, overnight truck rentals, etc, etc). Adam contacted me the day before the move to ensure that everyone was ready for the early start. On the day, two trucks and six guys showed up, at the promised time, and immediately began emptying the house. These guys worked quickly and seeing how they packed the trucks was amazing; every inch of space, from floor to ceiling was packed and nothing shifted during transit. We ended up asking Any Day Movers to do extra work for us and this became a three day move -- in very high heat and humidity. These guys were all brilliant: friendly, courteous, funny and careful with our belongings. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again and unreservedly recommend them. read more

I called Any Day because I needed to empty out my storage unit, off load some of those items at my old house, and pick up some items from my old house and bring them to my new house. Barry gave me a quote over the phone and it was give or a take a few depending on how long it'd take. They rent the vehicle for you. They met me (and they were actually 15 minutes early!) at my storage unit. They were super helpful and careful with my items from loading and unloading a few different times. They worked hard and didn't take any breaks. They even put my bed frames together as well as my headboard for me which was great because I'm clueless and had no tools. Quick and painless and WORTH it!! I will never move on my own. I highly recommend Any Day and will use them again if need be!!!! read more

Got a text from him that said he was busy and to text him which I did and no response what so ever. I hired this company because of the great reviews, but I was sorely disappointed. After several conversations with the owner, I ordered 24 quilted moving pads for their use in packing my pods for a move from New York to Texas. Upon opening my pods, I discovered that only 12 of the moving pads were used (the other dozen were still in the packaging), and almost all of my furniture was either broken or damaged. I paid these folks over $500 to pack three pods (and tipped the four packers well) with the assurance that they had done this before. An antique writing desk, a family heirloom, was literally crushed under the weight of a 100 pound trunk. Another antique table sustained gouges on the top that cannot be fixed. The wooden legs on my Ethan Allen chair are damaged, as well. A painted headboard was rubbing up against my dining table, so there is green paint transferred onto the dining table because they didn't use the moving pads I supplied them with. Boxes were put on top of my cherry living room cabinet without a moving pad, and that is scratched, as well. I put a call in to the owner on the day that I discovered the damages (4/8/17), but I have yet to hear from him. I would not recommend this company. If they were not equipped to load pods for a long distance move, he should've said so. If I could have given less than one star, I would have. read more

My experience with these guys started out great. First man showed up and started right away while the second tried to find his way. No problem there because google has a tendency to give people the wrong directions. Everything was moved very quickly but an extra half hour was added because of the difficulty putting my treadmill back together as it had to be taken apart to be moved. I didn't mind that because I would rather they had done it instead of doing it myself anyway. Then a few days later I tried to rearrange some things and when I moved my $170 cat tree the top fell off. Normally it doesn't as it is bolted in place. I contacted Barry with my concern, asking for compensation at the current sale price listed on Amazon.com (where I originally purchased the piece) of $92.99. I was immediately told that I was not qualified to get any compensation because the men who moved it told Barry they had told me about the broken piece (which is broken beyond repair) and I had told them "not to worry about it". They also told him they had moved it in the proper and same way they always moved pieces like this and that it had just fallen off when they tipped it over. Why would I not worry about damage to such an expensive piece?! My one cat slept on the top bed platform all the time, so I would have noticed if it was loose already whenever he jumped down. Since the cats have not been around since the move, I hadn't noticed. Where the bolt to the broken piece went through the platform it sat on was is now a broken gaping hole. Barry wasn't even there and is only taking his men's word. So Now I have a broken piece that I have to drop down another $93 if I want to replace it. read more

I hired this company to move me from East Greenbush to Rensselaer in December. I spoke with Adam before move to let him know I would need help with the packing. Adam did not come out to my home to determine how much furniture I had. The day of move two men showed up with out tape or any packing materials. I had to go to store to get packing materials while men were beginning to move my stuff. One of the guys was so disrespectful. It was obvious that he didn't want to work that day. They allowed neighbors to take furniture off truck which is a liability to the company because of damages or what if one the neighbors was injured while lifting items off truck. One of the men spoke so disrespectfully to me which would not have occurred if a man was there. Adam showed up to help complete the move. I have never experienced such unprofessional service in my life. I would not recommend this company especially if you are a single woman. read more
