Absolutely amazing service from Balloon Celebrations! I highly recommend them for helium services. It was my husband's birthday last Thursday, and I had balloons that matched the theme I planned for him that I needed filled with helium. The Party City inside Staples wanted to charge $2 per 11" standard plain balloon, and Michael's also wanted to charge $2 for the same balloons (you know the standard plain balloons most people buy for parties). Balloon Celebrations told me they charged $1.50 per balloon to fill. I also had purchased a $5 34" inch foil balloon from Dollar Tree that I wanted filled, and they charged me $10 to fill that one. So in total, it was about $28 with tax. They put a weight on the big foil balloon so it wouldn't fly away, and they put beautiful ribbon on the 11" inch balloons. They were cheap balloons from Amazon but they made them look so professional. After I paid, the male associate there offered to help load them into my car. I was parked across the street and he helped me walk across and put the balloons in my car for me. It was such a wonderful experience and they treated me so well even though I was having them fill third-party balloons that they did not sell me. In an age where good customer service is rare to find, you'll have no issue finding a fountain of friendly service and mountains of courtesy at this shop. I would absolutely use them again in the future. read more

Their balloons and designs are beautiful. I know people who have used them for bigger events and decided to get some balloons for a small birthday dinner to make it a bit more special. The service I experienced made me have my own pretty woman moment. I was on a budget and mentioned this to the employee and another lady who seemed to be the owner. They were snappy and rude while I was trying to pick out what I wanted and basically acted like I was a nuisance and not worth their time. Meanwhile, I spent over $60 dollars on balloons, which isn't exactly cheap...especially in this economy. Maybe it was an off day and I hate to give a small business a negative review, but they should definitely be kinder with their customers especially if they accept walk-ins. Overall, - 5 stars for their balloons - 2 stars for their service Also, two of my balloons weren't tied to the string well and just flew off while the string is still attached - probably the result of trying to rush and rude service. So fyi, make sure they tie them well and maybe go elsewhere if you are not looking for a lavish arrangement. read more

I honestly had no idea what balloons I wanted, but I knew I wanted two giant glamorous balloon bouquets. So I just told them to be creative and told them to at least corporate blue and glitter balloons. They did just that! They turned out fabulous! I am extremely pleased with this store! I took the boy I nanny there today to get a balloon as a special treat and he went in and picked out one special balloon from the wall of options!! The lady blew it up for him and we went on our way. The moment we walked outside the balloon came untied and blew away. He was so sad however when we went back into the store the originally lady who filled our balloon got him a new one and added a really nice weight for no additional charge. The best balloon company in Los Angeles! Their balloon creativity is insane and they consistiently exceed my expectations. Awful awful experience and store. I called in asking about bringing in balloons to be inflated... the nice girl on the phone said yes, it wouldn't be an issue. I show up, and the store owner/manager says they don't do that due to the helium shortage. Then she says she'll make an exception. Great, so far so good. I have maybe 8 balloons to be filled up, one of which was what I thought to be a large novelty sized latex balloon. She looked through bag of balloons and said that would cost $25, the rest $1.25-$3.00. Fine. I'm expecting a jumbo sized five foot balloon, and given my lack of experience in the balloon industry, seems reasonable for a balloon that size. My MIL handed me a bag of balloons telling me to go get them inflated for my wife's baby shower, so I'm not doing a ton of research here on efficient pricing of helium balloons or really shopping around. Fast forward five minutes (speedy service was actually nice), and I get my balloons back. The big novelty sized balloon is marginally larger than the other balloons... maybe 1.25 ft in length compared to 1 ft diameters for the other balloons. I tell the manager that it's absurd to pay that much for a tiny balloon... she said I agreed on the price beforehand, so it's not her problem. Oh, she gave me a discount on that large novelty sized balloon down to $20. Laughable. Super shady experience. 1/5, would not recommend. Sorry to the employees who have to work under the local Santa Monica Karen manager. Run away from this balloon store and go elsewhere. read more

A super cute store with a lot of beautiful balloonage and other assorted goods. I came here in a rut because I needed the My Own Pet balloons asap and didn't have time to order them beforehand on Amazon. The staff is friendly and helpful and they have a good assortment of balloons. I was in and out in about 5 minutes with two pups and a handful of rosegold latex balloons. The girl at the front also threw in another latex balloon just in case one popped. Thanks! For one latex rose gold balloon it cost $1. You can get a pack of balloons in downtown LA for $1.50. But it's harder to find pretty colors in downtown. The prices are quite inflated because each balloon pup cost $19. Although free helium refills ... for life? I will capitalize on this and get my moneys worth. To compare, you can get a pack of 7-10 My Own Pets for around $10 on amazon, but you would have to inflate them yourself. I didn't have enough time to do that, so this was my next best option. I'm just glad they had them because it was hard to find any brick and mortar shop that carried them anymore. Weren't they everywhereeeeeeee before? What happened? The pups are still inflated 5 days later and looking as cute and puffed up as ever. Some of the goods in the store I've also seen for way cheaper at Marshalls, like their Bridal champagne glasses. Just an FYI. Ultimately, if you're in a bind and need something quick and are willing to spend the $$, this place does the trick! Only street parking available. read more

I've used this company for years and yesterday when a mix up happened, and I was a wrong item was delivered (a giant number 8 instead of a 5), they raced back to remake it and got the correct number to me in under an hour. I called to let them know and they refunded me for that part of my order. Anytime I call, i have been met with a kind helpful voice. All the positive reviews must be from people who did not have the displeasure to interact with the owner, who is, the definition of a horrible person. She was extremely rude, beyond condensending and utterly dispicible when we came to place an order for our daughter's birthday last month. We did not want anything grand which upset her, we told her we are not looking for a show when she was flaunting parade sized balloon displays that apparently "everyone orders". I was so shocked and appalled by her attitude that I broke out laughing and my husband demanded for a normal person who would take our order. A sweet saleswoman did help us. She looked terrified of the owner and shared with us that she is quitting because she couldn't take her nonsense anymore.
