We rented a 2-storey townhouse unit through our owners membership in Club Wyndham Destinations. It's a beautiful unit with a dedicated garage, two full bathrooms with jetted spa tubs and large shower stalls. The fireplace is real and there are wood logs provided. The master bedroom is massive, the kitchen fully stocked (as with all Wyndhams), but for us the best feature is the enclosed, heated patio with a comfy 4-chairs/table set. It leads to an outdoor deck with a Weber grill. The Recreation Center has a good sized heated pool indoors and outdoor hot tub. You can rent cross country ski equipment or ice skates for outdoor Winter activities. The townhouses are truly young-family-friendly as evidenced by the high chair and booster seat in the front closet. Little Sweden is in Fish Creek, WI, a very cute touristy town. We enjoyed shopping and even attending a local church service on Sunday. For the Summer, we look forward to boating and fishing. We hope to return in the Summer.

Ben was fantastic on the acoustic guitar, excellent voice and sense of humor. It was a small group when we went but he still worked the crowd. The boat was clean and I appreciated that they had binoculars available in each bench seat so you could take advantage of seeing the sights. Ben also does some of the scenic tours so he threw in a few nuggets of info about the area in between songs but overall the focus was on the music and enjoying the views. Sunset was perfect! Cons: hot tub was not working during our stay, rooms are badly in need of updating (for example, the light on the air conditioner kept the room fully lit up at night, weak Wi-Fi, no black out curtains, etc.) and the worst thing is that our toilet got plugged and there was no plunger on site! The solution was to use the pool bathroom for the night/day. What?! This could be a really desirable property with the setting, but they really need to invest more into the property to provide basic conveniences for travelers.

Honest Review We…read morestayed for a week at the Evergreen cabin for our honeymoon, first time in door county. First the positives: neighborhood dog Bruno is so sweet and well behaved. The afternoon cookies were delicious and the decor of the cabin was lovely. The cons: Upon our arrival promptly around check in at 3pm it was 84 degrees in the cabin because the air conditioning was not turned on. Took several hours to cool down in the middle of July. The smell of moth balls was a bit overpowering. We were shocked to find the entire downstairs locked (4 doors total). We paid $2700 to rent a cabin for the week. Upon check in we received a note from the owners that for an additional $1500 they would open the remaining rooms downstairs. Our only open door inside was our room and bathroom upstairs. We had to go upstairs to use the only restroom. No typical comforts to be found- blankets for cold evenings to be found in the cabin, robes. The whirl tub went off twice in the middle of the night, 2 hours after turning off in the bedroom. Halfway through the week we ran out of toilet paper from the two roles of low ply they provided. When we asked about their adorable neighborhood dog they sent a lovely message back right away. When we asked for more toilet paper, radio silence, never responded. We went and bought our own for the remaining trip. Not the honeymoon experience we hoped for.

We decided on Bailey's Harbor instead, which is just a 20-minute drive from Fish Creek, offering stunning views of the lake, surrounding nature, and charming villages along the way. I paid $200 for one night in a Trailside One Bedroom Suite, which featured an apartment-style layout with a queen bed, a pull-out sofa in the living room, a full kitchen, parking, and a lovely view of the wooded trail area. The room was spacious and clean, providing a cozy, cabin-like atmosphere that was more than enough for two people. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, with walking trails, stunning views of Lake Michigan, and a peaceful, secluded ambiance. It also offers a dock, beach area, hot tub, and pool, all surrounded by majestic pines. We were able to easily walk to the water, the breakfast hall, and other areas of the property. During our stay, we also noticed a small wedding taking place, adding to the charming atmosphere. The only thing preventing me from giving a 5-star review is the quality of the breakfast. It was typical of a basic hotel breakfast--scrambled eggs made from powdered eggs, cereal, coffee, juice, and so on. The property was beautiful and it was huge. There were options to stay in cabins, houses, and a lodge. There were also hiking trails and it sat on Lake Michigan so you could Kayak or swim in the pool over looking the lake. There were also basketball courts and tennis courts. You could basically spend your whole time on the property and have your vacation there. We stayed in Cabins. This one is the Spruce and it's where Leslie and I roomed. The cabin had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, living room, and fireplace. And we had a gorgeous view of Lake Michigan right out front. Everything was so quiet on the campus. It was super relaxing and I got two nights of fantastic sleep! I also have to add they have hot water and there was great water pressure. Not everyone talks about bathrooms and showers, but for me a hot shower is like a cup of coffee. I don't like coffee and I need the shower to wake me up. They had super soft towels too. This is another small thing that is huge. I can't stand small scratchy towels. These were big and fluffy They also had a buffet breakfast and a restaurant. The breakfasts were amazing! They had different buffets each morning too. I had such a great stay!

The condos are nicely decorated and very clean. There is basic kitchen cookware and utensils. They always have Door County coffee, which is really good. I like the big jetted bathtub in the bathroom. There is also a shower. This resort is off the beaten path but that is what I love about it. Every room has a view of the lake. The beach and resort grounds are very nice. I like to enjoy the open windows and patio doors to hear the waves. There is a small indoor pool and hot tub. Both are nice. And clean. The restaurant right next door is amazing. Super cool inside with great drinks and food. Make reservations! I think the prices are inline with other resorts in DoCo. Super friendly staff. I know I'll be back next Fall!
