The place is kind of hard to find because it's in a warehouse district but once you finally do there was tons of parking out front. I guess when I walked in I was looking for some smiles and a big welcome because it was my first time actually shopping for a bridal gown however, that's not what I received. I wasn't greeted at all I actually did the greeting. I had to walk up to a staff member and get their attention. Not the friendly welcome I expected. Once I did I let them know that I had previously tried to make and appointment online but never heard back. The young lady said, they don't do appointments anymore. I was like oh ok well I'm here to try on some dresses I guess. She didn't say oh how nice thanks for choosing us we are so happy to have you she just asked me to fill out a form to give them more information about me and my special day but never told me where to sit or anything. She said a consultant would be with me shortly. After filling out the form my friend Berhane walked in to meet me of course and she wasn't really greeted at the front either but hey I will let her tell her own story. Anyway right after she arrive a wonderful breath of fresh air walked over to us name Daniel. He was kind, excited and knowledgeable. He took the time to chat with me about what brought me in my wedding date, colors and any dress ideas I had and what I wanted to avoid. He then took us back to the dressing room area and took my measurements while continuing to make great conversation. He told me he would pull a few gowns based on what I told him and guided me into a spacious changing room. He was so sweet yet professional he brought me some dresses that I loved and then some that I never thought I would like but they ended up being my favorites. We laughed, talked, we even danced we literally could have stayed there with him the entire time. He changed my first dress experience and made me feel so special. Daniel is a gem without him there is nothing special to me about this place when you first walk in. I saw staff walking around aimlessly with nothing to do, no smiles just mad they had to work on Halloween. Thank God they have Daniel, his retail experience and customer service expertise is very needed. They need to hire 5 more people like him and maybe they do work there but just not today. Although this was not an overall unpleasant experience- it was subpar for sure. I was here to help a friend find her dress. This place is quite large and has ample parking available. I arrived a few minutes later than the rest of my group (about 10 minutes)- when I walked in, the front desk asked what I needed and I let them know who I was there for. The lady I was talking to just walked away without saying anything and then finally a second person told me to follow her... We had an area that was directly adjacent to another bride trying on dresses. So there were times when both of the ladies trying dresses on would walk out right beside each other. It was not a great set up- very awkward. I do not recall the name of the person helping my friend with her dresses. She was definitely sweet but was not understanding the style of dress that my friend was looking for. We mentioned that tulle and sequins were a definite no and several of the dresses that she picked included both of those things. Every time she went to pull another dress that would "fit her style better", it would just be another dress that was not at all what she was looking for. There is so much selection here that you might find what you are looking for if you already have a vision, but you will have to repeat what exactly you're looking for and maybe bring some pictures because they did not understand what my friend wanted at all. read more

As a bride who already purchased their wedding gown I went to the store to find dresses for my bridal party. The experience was fabulous from start to end. Starting from the booking of my bridal appointment to the team sending me a text to confirm my appointment for the next day! When I entered the store masks were being worn by the entire staff and they seemingly followed COVID-19 protocols. I thought I knew the material I wanted my bridesmaids to wear but very quickly my stylist Trinity came to the rescue! She educated me about fabric and the importance in making sure dresses for your maid-of-honor and bridesmaids have continuity with fabric type and the same designer even if you want them to have varying styles. Trinity was a team player in that when my maid-of-honor and I wanted to see dress options compared against one another, she volunteered to model these gowns so I could visibly compare and contrast the two gowns against one another. This made the decision making process much easier! This is A+ customer service and I am now considering purchasing dresses for my flower girls and my groom may possibly purchase his tux from this shop as well! Anya has some beautiful and affordable dresses, and although I feel there were more lace/design dresses and mermaid/trumpet dresses than ball gowns, I found my dress and said YES TO THE DRESS, a simple ball gown. It's not a good idea to start looking for a wedding dress two weeks before your big day, but if you need to Anya Bridal is the place! Originally, my plan was to wear a non-traditional dress but at the last minute I opted for a wedding gown. There was no time left for special orders or fittings. My only option was to find something off the rack. Although they take walk-ins they suggested that I make an appointment to be sure I had one-on-one attention from a consultant. They had racks and racks (hundreds) of gorgeous off the rack gowns in various fabrics, silhouettes, hues and price points. I chose half a dozen I loved and my consultant, Daniel, picked out several others he thought would work. I'd visited another bridal shop but it was clear to me that the dresses here were of superior design and quality. Daniel was so helpful. He was kind enough to take photo/video of me in each dress to send to my mom. (I was there solo and wanted a second opinion.) He also brought me an array of accessories like belts and birdcages so I could see the ways my dress could be styled. I ended up picking one of the dresses he recommended because it was classic, stylish and within budget. It only needed a hemline alteration from their seamstress, Ms. Kim. She was amazing--working within a shorter timeframe than usual to get my dress to me in time. I needed a no-nonsense dress shopping experience so thank goodness for Anya Bridal! read more

I'd take the poor reviews here with a grain of salt. They have the place set up really well, but it IS a warehouse in the industrial part of west midtown, not a teeny little frou frou boutique in Roswell. Manage your expectations and you'll be really pleased. On to the review! Highly recommend Anya Bridal, and Sidney especially. I had tried three other salons beforehand and she was the first consultant where I felt like she "got" what I was going for and she seemed really genuine, which was not my experience with other consultants at the other shops. She did a great job pulling dresses. Anya has a massive collection and I came in with a list of several specific gowns to try on and they had all but two of them - and Sidney was able to pull similar ones. It was a crazy sale weekend, but she was very patient and let me try on the two front runners back to back like 3 times to really make sure I was sure. She also pulled a dress with a nude underlay and helped me envision my dress in the color I wanted since they didn't have it in store. I needed my dress ASAP (visited in July, eloping in October!) and Sidney and the floor manager were working all kinds of options to get me my dress on time. Unfortunately, there was just no way to get the color I wanted as quickly as I needed and I had to order online elsewhere. The people who work at Anya's Bridal, Kara especially, saved my wedding day! The day before I visited Anya's, I had visited three other bridal gown boutiques around Atlanta and had tried on 30 dresses. I found a handful of dresses that I thought were beautiful and fit me, but I just hadn't had the feeling everyone had told me I would have when I put on "the one". Kara helped me in and out of all the dresses and never made me feel uncomfortable or rushed. I tried on at least 10 dresses and still was not feeling any of them. Kara told me she was on a hunt for a dress she thought I would like but couldn't find. I was in the last dress my mom and bridesmaids had found and then it happened. Then, Kara brought me this breathtaking dress. It was the one she couldn't find, but knew I would like. I put on the dress and it was magical! I felt different. Now, you should know that you can't see what you are trying on because there are no mirrors in the dressing room, but I really did feel different in this dress. My mom and bridesmaids learned the day before to not look at me until I was in front of the mirrors and saw myself in the dress first. This way I could react to the dress before I saw their facial expressions. When I looked at the mirrors I almost started to cry and then when they opened their eyes they said, "That's it, that's your dress". It was my dress! Kara went and found a veil and a bouquet for me so I could see the whole look. She brought me veils until we found one with the perfect amount of bling so it showed the detail bling on the front of my dress and my corset back perfectly! Kara had done it! Kara had found my perfect dress and veil! For the first time I didn't want to take off the dress. The icing on the cake came when Kara informed me that the dress was part of a trunk sale so it was cheaper than what I had told her was in my dress and veil budget. I am so thankful for Kara! Staff was nice but just wasn't the experience that I was looking for on my first day of wedding dress shopping. The showroom had limited options and you can choose to try on dresses from here and/or staff will pull out their recommendations, but you don't see the FULL collection~ After trying many dresses that just wasn't your liking, you get discouraged. What I did like was that they measured you to bring the dress size for the perfect fit and I did leave with an idea of what type of silhouette that I wanted. The young lady that was assigned to be my "consultant" made it pretty clear from the beginning that she did not really know the dresses of the store. I asked for a simple A-line gown and was open to other designs that she thought would be flattering. They advertise that they have the largest selection of dresses but I was told only FOUR met my criteria. Then I was told, in a rather rude tone, that "there probably isn't anything here that I would like". I would understand if I had tried on 10-20 dresses but I only tried four. Amazing! I worked with Kylie and I LOVE her. I didn't have an appointment but she had time to see me and she seriously spent as much time on me as I needed and wanted. If I could provide a negative review I would. ABSOLUTE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. this is supposed to be such a special time in someone's life but they made sure to make me and my friends feel very unwelcomed. We tried to call to make an appointment multiple times and no one picked up the phone. So we decided to just drive up. We tried calling again just before walking in and again no one answered. We walked in, two ladies at the front desk which got us confused on how no one answered the phone. But whatever we are still interested. We ask if there is anything walk in available and at first, the lady that was looking at the computer said yes but the lady next to her was very quickly corrected her and said no without even looking at the computer. They said we could just look around - didn't bother to tell us that they could schedule us for another day or offered to help us in anyway. So we decided to look around, not once did anyone come up to ask how we were doing, needed any help, etc even though there were multiple sales associate just hanging around, starring at us like we clearly did not belong. It was clear that they did not want these "crackers" in their shop. Talk about white racism!!!! It's just very disappointing and sad since they do have good options. Wow what can I say but wow. Jessica, my stylist, while only being there three months did such a great job and listened to everything I said to help me find the perfect dress and say yes! She is a pro-buttoner and such a delight. Anya had so many different style dresses that were available in all sizes. I would really recommend any bride of any size to go check them out. So I have been really nervous about trying on bridal gowns that wouldn't fit me or make me look any good. Had a 11am appointment and brought my mom and my best friend. My stylist was Jasmine. At first I was a little hesitant with all the questions she was asking me because I was not sure if they would look good. I have to admit, she knew what she was doing. She pulled a couple of dresses of the style I wanted and even tried to get me to try other style just to get a feel if I would like another design. We both agreed in the rooms which dress looked the best. She truly made me feel at ease and I ended up with 2 favorite dresses. When we finally added the veil and bouquet, literally broke me into tears because I found the dress I wanted. I said yes! To that dress. Incredibly beautiful!! I really didn't know what to expect from the wedding dress shopping experience, but my stylist Jasmine made it worth my time! I highly recommend making an appointment for during the week, if possible. My appointment was scheduled on a Monday in the late afternoon and she was able to help me feel at ease with taking my time and making the right choice and decision. What really impressed me is that she choose dresses that complimented my body shape. I also appreciated seeing the employees and customers adhering to COVID-19 guidelines. My daughter is getting married in January of 2024. We have been to 9 bridal stores in Florida and Georgia looking for a gown that made her feel beautiful. As a plus size bride, it is not easy to find a dress that fits in the store and doesn't have to have panels, extra straps, etc. added to it in order to try it on. When we entered the store we were immediately greeted and made to feel welcome. Our bridal appointment was with Alice. She got to know us and listened to what my daughter wanted. Having been in so many other salons and trying on tons of dresses, she knew what she did and did not want and Alice listened. My daughter specifically said she wanted fit and flare with sleeves. That is exactly what Alice pulled for her to try on. Each gown fit and had the design my daughter wanted. She tried on 5-6 gowns and was pleased with each one. That was the first time she had been able to really feel comfortable in gowns! While my daughter loved the first gown (and veil), she couldn't decide because they all looked beautiful on her. Alice encouraged us to go have lunch and look at the different pictures we took of each gown and let her know if we decided on one or if we wanted to keep looking elsewhere. We felt NO PRESSURE to purchase a gown. We went back right after lunch and purchased the first one she tried on! I cannot say enough about how pleasant our experience was. We had an appointment scheduled at Anya Bridal. It was for a Tuesday at 2pm. Meredith Bullock (no relation to Sandra Bullock - since this Meredith is supposedly an automated email machine). sent me a message to confirm my appointment two-three times. And again the night before I was expected there. We had several appointments all over town and made it to Anya's with 10 minutes to spare. To our surprise a big sign on the door says "Closed Tuesdays" we thought "maybe they are closed for the public but open for appointments?" we waited until 2:15pm - 2:20pm, we called Meredith Bullock (using the phone number on the email confirmation) but got the Anya Bridal main line instead which reiterated to customers that they are indeed closed on Tuesdays. I left a voicemail on their answering machine. I re-checked my email confirmation incase I had made a mistake with the date or time. Nope. Tuesday 2pm. A complete and utter waste of time. Why any stars at all? Because they at least had the decency to call me the next day and apologize for the inconvenience. They asked me if I wanted to re-schedule my appointment. No thank you. The 20 minutes we stood outside the door waiting, I'd had a chance to peak inside their glass windows, and it gave me a Walmart feel for Bridal-wear. Sort of cheap, tacky and gawdy, with sparkles and pinks and purple things. Not my kinda dress for sure. So thanks for the apology phone call. I still wasted about 2 hours of my time, plus gas, and a missed opportunity to visit any other bridal shop, and from the look of your store-front there's no need to waste any more time (or gas) driving all the way back here to then waste even more time trying on cheap tacky dresses. I cannot say enough to describe how HELPFUL and KIND she is. We quickly went through my list of preferred dresses, noting details and style #s. As Kylie was setting me up in my dressing room, I noticed a dress on another girl. I asked Kylie if she could grab it for me and she was able to do so w/o interrupting either of our appointments. Kylie is smart, quick, attentive and warm. I was the one rushing through the appointment, and Kylie was able to keep up with my comments and guide us close and closer towards a look that matched my personality. In the end, I scheduled a follow-up appointment with Kylie to run-through my top 4 gowns. FYI: The dresses at ANYA are incredibly affordable. I found my dream dress today at Anya. After being there for my friend, Amanda, when she found her gorgeous dress for her October 2017 wedding, I was impressed with the selection and the service. Again, when I got my bridesmaid dress for her wedding, I was amazed by the lengths Anya went to to make my dress perfect; even giving me a dress they were phasing out so that they could match the fabric and build a corset back for my bridesmaid dress. Today, Daniel was my Anya associate and he was amazing. He measured me, listened to my ideas, looked at some photos I had saved and then started pointing me in the direction I had in mind. He, Amanda and I pulled several dresses from the racks and as I tried each one on, I loved aspects about each one. Finally, we got to the end of the original pulling and Daniel said that he had a good idea of what I wanted. He the. went to the back and pulled THE dress. I put it on, walked to the mirror and had THE moment. Tears from me, tears from my mom, tears from Amanda and even Daniel got a little emotional. It was perfect. And Daniel was perfect. Not only was he personable, but he knew exactly how much space to give me so he wasn't hovering and smothering, but he was always right there with words of wisdom, great suggestions and an adorable and devilish grin. I kept my appointment with a huge national competitor (DB) that afternoon, but when I told them that I had found my dress a few hours earlier but still was interested in dressing my bridal party with them, they turned icy. And it just got worse from there. What a night and day difference from the folks at Anya. I can not recommend Anya enough. They are wonderful. If you go on a weekend, be prepared for a huge crowd and lots of hustle and bustle yet with still excellent service. But do yourself a favor and go on a weekend. You'll have much more space and much less chaos. And of course then the other staff have more opportunity to come offer their opinions, knowledge and wisdom. Plus a crowd of bridal consultants fawning over you makes you feel like the princess bride of whom you have always dreamed. Thank you Anya, Daniel and the entire staff. I absolutely DO NOT recommend going here for bridesmaids dresses at all!! When myself and the bridal party went back in May to try on dresses we thought we had a great experience until we got to the measurements, the women helping us sized us all according to the measurement charts based on "that designer" and they all seemed way off. Once she got to me she sized me at a size 8, I proceeded to tell her I was not a size 8 and that it was going to be to be way to big. She assured me that if anything it would be maybe a size to big but the measurements she was getting for me was around a size 8. Well I got my dress back last week and I took it to my semesters today and I AM HAVING TO TAKE MY DRESS IN 3 WHOLE SIZES. I knew the measurements were way off and I should've gone with my gut. Everyone on the girls in the party are having to take their dresses in 2-3 sizes because we weren't measured properly. When I called them to tell about my dress she just told me "I might of lost weight" and that "I measured to those measurements for that designer" there was no apology just argued with me and basically told me there was nothing they could do. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place and they did absolutely nothing to compensate for ALL of our dresses BEING WAY OFF ON THE SIZES. Don't go through the same thing we did!! read more

I wasn't impressed with Anya. I'll admit, I'd already been to Ivory Bridal, a lovely little boutique where I ended up picking my wedding dress, but before I did, I decided to give a couple of other stores a try, and this was one of them. First of all, just getting to Anya's is a trip. You drive down this long, two-lane road past lots of warehouses and odd businesses, then finally come around this bend in the road, pull into a nondescript parking lot fronting a warehouse, and realize you've arrived. Anya's is, plain and simple, a warehouse bridal store. As soon as I walked in, I saw a bunch of dressing rooms, mirrors, consultants and wedding dresses. My consultant, when I explained I was looking for a low back or backless dress, looked at me doubtfully, then brought me back to the racks and racks and racks of dresses and let me go through them on my own while she combed through for potential picks. We came away with about 6 or 7 dresses, which I tried on with varying degrees of success. I just wasn't feeling it. The consultants didn't seem that into it, and even after they put a veil on me in a couple of dresses, I wasn't in love. One of the biggest turn-offs was the fact that there was no option to customize the dresses or make any design changes after ordering them. I want some customization to my dress or at least the option to customize. They also didn't have much in the way of backless or low back dresses. Like I said, I ended up finding the perfect dress at Ivory Bridal, and I'd recommend going there for a more intimate, personal, one-on-one type of experience. read more

I had an amazing experience at Anya Bridal! They have a huge selection and I had multiple choices as far as what I was looking for all in or under budget. Bambu and Michelle were my consultants and they are amazing. The only thing hard about my decision was picking only 1 of the amazing dresses. Everyone in the shop was welcoming and friendly. I went to a few dress shops before I came to Anya. I had made an appointment, and got a super sweet/sassy guy. He was a great help and knew exactly what he was doing. I told him what style of dress I was looking for and he helped to pick some for me to try on. I ended up finding 'the dress' there. He was great and was so helpful. They had such a HUGE selection of dresses. It was definitely the largest selection that I have seen. They had them organized by designer, and had a pretty large clearance section as well. I went there as well to pick my bridesmaid dresses. I made an appointment about a month in advance. The lady sent me an email saying which designers they carried. I picked out about 20 dress styles and called them in that morning. They had the ones that they had in stock waiting for my girls when we got there. They only had about half of the dresses that I had picked. The reason that I only gave 4 stars was because the lady I had the appointment with was pretty short and not incredibly friendly. We got there about 15 minutes before our appointment and so my girls and I were looking at the dresses on the rack and waiting for the others to arrive. She came to me after about 10 min and said "you need to get started, you won't be finished by the end of your appointment". This was still before our appointment was set to start. When we were trying on dresses, she was pretty short and kept disappearing. One of the other employees came to her and said that someone was a walkin and wanted her help. In front of us, she said, I have an appointment, ask so-and-so to help. But then promptly disappeared where we couldn't hardly find her again... I thought that was the point in making a reservation, to have the attention of a staff member. All in all, we had a good experience. I finally said Yes to the Dress at Anya Bridal! I really like this place- the atmosphere is nice and relaxed, not stuffy and pretentious like a lot of other bridal boutiques I've been to. Everyone was nice and friendly. The selection is large. They have something for everyone and every budget. I went in on a Wednesday afternoon. The store was quiet- maybe only 4 other brides while I was there. Candace was AMAZING. I LOVE Candace. She was kind, helpful, and very patient with me. I'm so indecisive. But, she listened to me and reminded me not to settle for something that was just "nice". That let me know she was committed to helping me find "my dress" rather than just hurrying me up. I went alone, but Candace made me feel like I was still shopping with my sister or my friend. She took pictures for me and gave her honest opinion without trying to sway me. It was the best experience I ever had shopping for bridal dresses. My advice- go on a day when they aren't super busy. Request Candace if you can (but I'm sure the other consultants are very nice too). read more

We had a great experience with Jasmine T at Anya Bridal! There were so many dresses and many price points. Jasmine spent a lot of time and attention on my future daughter-in-law. She was fun and professional and clearly knows her job! She did pull all the styles the bride wanted, and also a "wild card" dress - which ended up being the 1st choice!! I have another future daughter-in-law and will definitely be contacting Jasmine T for an appointment! read more
