3 stars for, "A-okay." Stopped on this electronics repair shop and got treated to a display of all the iconic toys I wanted as a kid; and yes, you can touch what is in front. Great on entertaining the kids while the adults discuss business. The owner and currently only employee, Ed runs the store. Fair, honest and looking out for his customers as I found out during the final evaluation of the electronic I came to have repaired. The minimum jobs he will charge as a store fee of $35. So repair costs will go up from there. He sells repaired unclaimed electronics in store and on Ebay. He has a few gaming consoles on sale. The retro toys, figurines and posters are not for sale. Overall, a safe and fair place to have your electronics fixed, which earns my, "A-okay," rating. read more

Unprofessional and rude. I called on a Thursday to ask if he could replace the wireless card on my older Mac - I had the part. He was supposed to pick up the computer on Monday and do the replacement. When he didn't show up, I took the Mac to Bergen Computer Solutions, who replaced the part and cleaned up the computer - done within 2 hours. I called Anything Computer to let him know he was supposed to pick up my computer. He did apologize, but when I suggested it was not a good way to do business, he abruptly hung up on me. I gave him 1 star for his willingness to pick up the computer. I would never do business with someone so rude and unprofessional. Do yourself a favor - avoid this guy and go to Bergen Computer Solutions, where you are treated respectfully with quality. Update - this owner is a liar and his reply to my review is NOT what he said when he replied to me on Facebook. I rarely write bad reviews, but will do so when something agegious occurs. Anything Computer of Midland Park you apologized and when I stated it was not a good way to do business, you hung up on me. I was not rude to you nor did I go on any rant at all - stop lying. I barely got my sentence out, before you abruptly hung up on me. I needed this computer before Monday and waited for you, even though I could have taken it elsewhere on Saturday. The fact that you completely forgot an appointment is bad enough, but then to abruptly hang up on a client and lie about it when confronted on social media says it all. I've had the same Wacom Intuos 4 for about 6-7 years, and I use it religiously for work. Once it died, I was afraid I'd have to drop a ton of money on one of their new models (which have a history of breaking within a few months...). After Wacom told me they don't repair models this old, I brought it to Anything Computer, and it was fixed for a low $65 ($35 for the inspection fee, $30 for the repair, and it's $400-$1000 to buy a new tablet), and I'm so happy! Wacom is a pretty shitty company with awful customer service, so I'll be coming here first for my tablet repairs from now on. Thank you thank you thank you!! read more

Edward is the owner of Anything Computers in Midland Park. His minimum fee is applied to the repair if you wish to have your computer fixed. Edward has already repaired / fixed my two Mac's within the past year for various reasons on three different times. His pricing is fair and I find him to be very honest and reliable. They are very thorough in their troubleshooting and repair of your computer. You can not pin him down to an exact date and time for a repair when you initially bring your machine in for repair. Which is a good thing. After his technical review he is able to give you an estimated repair date for your equipment repair. You want him to be as thorough as possible to inspect and if the price is right for the repair. He deserve a five star rating in my book. read more

My aging Mac Mini was getting progressively slower, and the Apple experts suggested that I needed more RAM and probably a bigger hard drive. I called AC and instead of instantly recommending that I do the most expensive fix, they told me to bring it in so they could diagnose it and get it up and running again. In just over one day, they got my computer humming along with a less drastic set of fixes and it's faster than ever. Their staff is friendly and professional, their service is very reasonable and they get the job done. I was kept informed regarding every single aspect of my laptop's repair, and the repair although serious, was done quickly. I dropped off an iphone 5s after it had went though the wash, the phone turned on after I dried it out but the battery wouldn't last. I payed them to diagnosis it and after over a week and a half they still hadn't touched the phone so I picked it back up. They gave the excuse that it takes time to "remove the water." I am an electrical engineer who used to do computer repairs, this is not a legitimate excuse for the time it has taken. They never even offered a refund, I do not recommend going there. read more
