This gym is perfect if you want a little oasis to quietly workout. For being so small their class variety and equipment is killer! Tanning beds are clean, merchandise is ALWAYS organized and beautiful-- and the staff!! I haven't met anyone that made me feel uncomfortable or unwelcome, but Brittany--- she's KILLER. So helpful & energetic. I recently needed some help regarding my account and I have never had someone jump on the problem solving train as fast! She followed up as soon as she was done, happily played phone tag with me, and was super knowledgeable and efficient. Definitely a great gym & their staff makes it that much better!!! I went in today to get information regarding a member ship and the office lady was just busy with another client so I got told to sit down and wait until she is done which I did. After client left I still sat there another 15 minutes and didn't get called to see how I could be helped. It was a total of 30 min or more. Anytime fitness in Apple Valley has changed my life! I can honestly say joining this amazing gym was one of the best decisions I have made in a long time. I was never one to enjoy working out in the past, literally I hated it. Over these past months working out, some of the trainers and workers like Brittany H. have completely changed my outlook on exercise. The best part of my day is going to workout with them. The atmosphere is fun, the trainers are knowledgeable and fit the workouts to your needs. They have given me a sense of accomplishment by pushing me to do my best.They are the full package: knowledge, fun, and positive energy. I highly recommend this gym to anyone. read more

This place is over crowded full of douche bags! The staff is rude! The place is dirty and forget using the yoga Matt's that I don't think have ever been cleaned they are so nasty and black! Love this gym. I'm paying $26 per month single member on the 2 year plan. I like the place because it's smaller with less people. I never have trouble getting on equipment and I go at all hours. Everyone is friendly, but people are mainly focused on fitness there. This is important to me because I partly use the gym for Me Time and I don't like the "See and Be Seen" social aspect of some of the larger gyms in the area. If that is your thing then I don't recommend this gym. If you want a quiet place to go and work out while you're listening to your audiobook, this is the gym for you. There are people of all ages and fitness levels here, and everyone is really respectful and supportive of everyone else. The place is clean and well kept. As another reviewer said, you have to pay out your contract if you quit, but if you provide a doctor's note that fee is waived. They have a two week free trial membership so you have plenty of time to decide if it's worth it to you. The classes there are free to members but others can pay a small fee to attend, too. read more

Where do I begin with this place? 1. It'd be nice to know up front that when you want to cancel, you have to pay a fee. How do I know that? By reading other Yelp reviews. I just received a collections bill and I'm not really sure why, nor am I happy. I had mentioned in September '18 that I might cancel (as I was updating my billing information) and then my key fob stopped working in November. Ok, not a problem, my contract was probably up. Fast forward to February. No one from the gym ever contacted me about canceling or about making a payment, so to get blindsided by a collections bill...let's just say the BBB has been contacted. 2. The place is disgusting. Back in late August/early September, they had a mold issue. Because I was pregnant at the time, and because they were taking forever to resolve the issue, my family (who also goes there) suggested I workout at home. It took the owner three weeks to solve the mold issue. They also have a serious dust problem (just look up at the ceiling the next time you're in there) and the equipment has probably never been properly cleaned (other than by us gym rats). 3. Can someone fix the equipment already? We all get it, the owner doesn't care about the gym and clearly doesn't understand good business practices. Supposedly he has other business ventures going on. But for the price we're all paying, maybe taking care of the equipment should be a priority if you want to keep making money. read more

Been a member for a couple years now and only have two minor complaints - temperature and water. It tends to get stuffy so a little extra air conditioning would be nice. Was also hoping they were going to put in a drinking fountain when the water dispenser broke because I often forget to bring a water bottle. Otherwise a great place to workout! read more

Worst gym. Everything is always broken. There's bugs on the floor. GYM CREEP CENTRAL. I've complained about members being assholes and taking videos of me doing squats, they did nothing about it. I've asked to be let out of the membership as I'm tired of being harassed and creeped on and they won't even call me back or respond to emails. Do yourself a favor and do NOT sign up here. it's kind of crazy that this place is the same as 24 hour. i got a trial membership to see how it was, there were some old ladies doing a spin class in the back, no water cups, 2 broken treadmills and elipticals and some people creeping around the office staring at you as you come in. i didn't sign up, but it could be seen as an alternative to a big box read more

I've been going to the gym for years now. Not until recently have I noticed it is no longer clean. I've seen cockroaches underneath the dumbbells and have gotten an allergic reaction from the gym equipment. This place needs better management and needs a cleaning staff. The 2 newest reviews from July are completely fabricated Brittany has only been there a month and has been complained about on a daily basis. She's been fired and rehired due to lack of management and not really wanting to look for a appropriate employee. Brittney has been completely unprofessional and rude with many members, including myself. I love this gym!! The staff is really friendly and willing to help out if you have any questions. One of my favorite parts about this gym is how clean it is! Membership includes all classes that they offer throughout the week. They have a sauna room which I LOVE! Overall this has to be one of the best gyms I have been at. read more

DO NOT GET A MEMBERSHIP HERE!!!! Upon signing up your on a contract either one or two years. If for whatever reason you don't want to come here anymore there is no way of canceling your membership without having to pay the contract out which is ridiculous because your paying the leftover months. But why would I do that if I'm not going to go to the gyms those left over months? To make matters worse anytime you have a late payment you are charged 20-30 extra dollars. If you are looking for an unethical business, this is the place for you. I called them because I noticed they continued to charge me during this COVID-19 shutdown. They actually charged twice in May. The response I received was they have been open since April and this was sanctioned by the Town of Apple Valley and local law inforcement. They will not refund money taken out 3/25/20 and twice in May. I quickly called the Town of Apple and they said they had nothing to do with that and gave me the number to San Bernardino Public Health Department. According to them, no gyms were allowed to be open until June 12, 2020. Had they know this place was opened they would had been cited. While millions of people have been out of work, this gym thinks it is above the law and cared nothing about spreading illness. The money isn't the point. It is the complete lack of ethics and when I called them on it they straight out lied. Shame on you!!! DON'T JOIN THIS GYM!!! read more

I was disappointed just tying to get an appointment to sign up was very difficult, they are supposed to open at 9am and the owner and assistant arrived at 9 something... here is whats really concerning to me.. the owner has not responded to any of the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised that although it might be a higher rate than centers in my direct area they were more than willing to give me the information I need to make a decision. Just joined a few months back. My wife and I both like the gym. The equipment is nice, and I rarely have to wait to use something, unlike the big buys across town. The price and 24 hour access sold us. You really can't get a gym membership cheaper than this. read more

I had been a member for a couple years, and only had a few issues where my key fob wouldn't open the door occasionally, causing me to waste time, gas, and energy on driving to the gym only to drive back home. I had always thought the equipment was well maintained and decent, until I took a tour of 24 Hour Fitness's gym prior to signing up with them during a special promotional period. But my problem with Anytime is not about their equipment at all. My issue stems from a few months back when I emailed them my 30 days notice, which they require you to do if you want to cancel your membership. I was asked by one of their employees why I decided to cancel after all this time with them, and I explained that I wanted to try a new gym... To have a fresh start on my exercise routine. It was nothing personal, until I noticed my account had been charged later that month. And then the next month, and the next after. Now we have a greater problem on our hands, and I have a feeling that due to their disregard for standard customer service, I will get the run-around answer from them like I have in the past with any issues. I'll be in contact with ABC financial, and the BBB if this issue doesn't get resolved. Stay away from this gym. 24 Hour Fitness not only has nicer equipment that is actually secured and bolted to the ground, and cleaner with more options for a better workout, their representatives are much more trained in customer service than Anytime. Went in to see about joining. Place looked very clean and nice. Staff noticed me quickly and was professional. But they are smoking crack in reference to their prices. 24 Hr fitness charges less, and is 100 times bigger and has more to offer. If they cut their prices in half or more then maybe there would be a chance to join. If you want to over pay for a small gym, go here! Classes get cancelled without warning, you show up and the class is cancelled. The gym is dirty. The spin bikes do not have working monitors and instead of fixing them they take the monitor off. Most of the spin bikes feel like you are riding an egg beater. The boxes for hand weights have dirt in them, huge dust bunnies. The floor in the spin room is filthy dirty with dust bunnies, hair and dead bugs. The windows from the spin room to the gym have tons of dirt on them. Broken equipment that isn't marked as broken, this is dangerous. One member was hit in the face by a falling TV when he tried to change the channel and he couldn't even use the mens room to see his injuries since the light was out and had been for 2 weeks. The owner was there and didn't even try to take the member to the hospital even though he was cut and bleeding. read more

I had been going to this gym during the day and then my schedule changed so I had to go at night. This is when I found out that the cigar bar above the gym oozes smoke through the floor and ventilation into the gym. I found myself with a sore throat after every workout. The management claimed they fixed it, but they only fixed the ventilation not the smoke coming through the floor. I tried to cancel my membership but you have to be permanently disabled to do that. I expect smoke at a Casino not at the gym. Stay far away from this place and Anytime Fitness in general. Only go to gyms that let you pay month to month with no contract. read more
