Edited Review -- Updating my original feedback to include an incident from February and the lack of follow‑up since then. My husband and I have been members here for about a year, on and off. Overall, we enjoy the space and appreciate the LifeFitness machines, the variety of dumbbells, medicine balls, and kettlebells, and the effort to fit a lot into a limited space. This has been my go‑to gym in the area, and my original review focused on equipment issues, cleanliness, and communication gaps. Before the injury occurred, I had already noted several concerns: - A large percentage of equipment not functioning properly (recumbent bikes, spin bikes, elliptical) - Worn or torn bench padding - Missing baseboards - Thick dust on blinds, ceiling pipes, and fans - Dirty floors and dusty storage cubes - Bathrooms needing deeper cleaning - Staff often in the office on their phones - Emails going unanswered - Class times blocking the functional fitness area without schedules posted I had hoped these issues would improve over time. I'm now updating my review to also document an injury that happened a few months ago. A resistance band snapped during use and the plastic handle cut into my knuckles. Both knuckles were bleeding at the time, and both are still visibly swollen months later. My hand still looks affected, and the area feels achy and bruised. I'll be adding photos from the day it happened. I reported the injury immediately. The equipment involved had already been noted as old, and the only things offered at the time were a free T‑shirt or red‑light therapy, which didn't address the injury. I made both the owner and corporate aware of the situation in February, but I did not receive any meaningful follow‑up or concern in the months since. The owner did call me in February, but the response lacked any ownership of the situation and again only offered a free shirt and red‑light therapy. As time went on, I assumed I would heal and eventually move past the situation. Instead, my hand is still visibly affected months later, and the lack of care or follow‑up from both the owner and corporate has only made the frustration grow. I recently contacted both again to let them know the injury still hasn't healed. You would think the owner would check back in at some point, but that never happened. When I checked my incident report online, it showed as "forwarded to gym owner" and then closed out with no further follow‑up. Pending any future response from my recent outreach, I felt compelled to update my Google review so my experience is fully documented. I'm sharing this update so other members are aware of the condition of some of the equipment. I hope the gym continues improving maintenance, cleanliness, and communication, as the space has potential and many members rely on it. Update: I did reach out to owner in February. It's a bit crowded for its space. The locations in Hochston and Suwanee are much spaced out and have better equipment. ( shower rooms are almost always broken and never seen anyone take a shower here) Please compare and evaluate all your options before signing up. read more

Don't waste your time or money with the Braselton, Ga location . Management at this location is terrible and the cost is astronomical for what you get. Find another gym. read more

It's not clean and looks run down and unkept inside. People sign up here because it is a convenient location but the monthly price is crazy with how poorly it is kept up. The floors in every area are gross and look like they are never cleaned or vacuumed. There is 3" of dust under and on top of everything. I am over it. read more

I'm giving 4 stars because the location seems decent. I didn't get to try it out though because I was asked for $25 for the week, which was just a little off putting and felt like bait and switch, since right here on Yelp there's an offer for 7 days free. Got to read the tiny small print sometimes, after clicking on special offers. I've joined many gyms over the course of the last 30 years. A couple as long as 5 and 10 years, others only 1 or 2 years. Oddly enough, up until today, never was asked for a fee to try it out. I have certain things I really want out of a gym, and I really hope Lifetime comes up this way! Anyway, it still is a decent little spot. If you want to just try it out; but the 7 day pass doesn't apply here, according to Justin. read more

Interesting that when you invite someone to write a review, you never can anticipate what they will say. This may be one of those times. AF is a facility that has members pursuing a punishing routine, while others are looking to stay in shape. (I'm reminded that round is a shape).The facility is arranged that either member type can follow their schedule without impeding the other. The gym is a little shop-worn, but the owner generally stays ahead by replacing the "pleather" on the Life Fitness equipment and carpet where needed. Blaring noise which masgueraded as music has been silenced. The gym is generally not crowded during the day, but may be busier in the AM and PM periods. Members are courteous towards one another and the facility is well managed. Having been in many gyms over the years, I suggest this facility compares favorably with its competitors. read more

This place is great! The equipment is all maintained, they are constantly improving, the feel and look of the place is great and the community of regulars is welcoming. I don't usually.do reviews but aftergoing to another anytime fitness that was a little closer, I appreciate this place all the more. Also, having real towels and ample spray bottles us a big plus. This place is awesome under the new owners! They are well staffed and the gym has been updated. They have answered the phone every time I have called. I took a chance based on the old reviews. I don't know what it was like before but it is great now. read more

This is a nicely laid out, clean and functional Anytime Fitness. Upon entering you see the cardio deck to the left with a variety of treadmills and steppers. Yeah they're a little dated, but they seem to be well-maintained and are fully capable of giving your heart a nicely elevated state of being. Behind the faux stone wall (which is centered in front of the visitor's door) are the machines then to the right is the free weight/ cable area. I like the fact that the free weight area is open, uncluttered with plenty of room for many lifters to be training at the same time (as opposed to my regular Anytime Fitness, where the free weight area is nothing more than a cramped afterthought). The benches are starting to show signs of wear and tear (tears, fraying and slight rips), but nothing too out of the range of acceptability. My impression is that the equipment and the benches are older than this particular location, which looks much newer. This location also has a nice well-lit aerobic/Zumba/ab room with large mirrors and a speaker to plug your iPhone into. This place has TVs throughout, is nicely painted and has both a traditional flat tanning bed as well as a standing tanning bed. It's near the new Northeast Georgia Hospital location (scheduled to open April 2015). It has a eclectic crowd of middle-aged suburbanites, senior citizens, meatheads along with the occasional splash of 20-something muscle seekers. A huge plus for having a standing calf raise machine (YES!), but drawbacks include not having a shoulder side lateral machine and no laying leg curl for hamstrings. Overall this place has everything you need but perhaps not everything you want for your fitness goals. But it's the suburbs... whatcha gonna do? I'd alternate between this Anytime location and one of the others to get what you need. read more

Last week a fellow member accidently took my car keys while I was working out. I had no way of getting into my vehicle. I spoke with Ashley Lombard a staff member and she helped look everywhere for my keys. With no luck, she offered to take me home on her lunch break. Very helpful staff member.
