They unfroze it without my knowledge after a while, so I called to cancel my membership knowing that I would probably not get back to that area. I called and they said that I would have to either mail a letter saying that I want to cancel or come in. I now live over 1500 miles away and obviously can't come in. How is a letter any better than me calling? Why is cancelling a gym membership this difficult? The customer service here has always been mediocre at best.

The staff also would call and ask me several questions about why I'm choosing this gym and just all kinds of unnecessary things in my opinion so I had to quit answering the calls. There's nothing wrong with selling but sheeshhh, the sales thirst is real here. When I arrived to my first class I was given the grand tour then I received my free pair of gloves which were in the color black. I wanted pink instead and had to pay 15$ extra for that. You will also need to purchase wraps for your hands. so keep that in mind. when you purchase the bundle, only the gloves will be free. Long story short, I made it to my first class and loved it. The instructors are really good, and take there time with you. But of course after completing my first class more sales pitching was pushed my way. I wish they would start trying to sell you the membership after your last class which makes sense because damn Pam, its my first class, can I try all 3 to determine whether I want to join or nah? What was more annoying was the membership fee which was a whopping 145$ per month for 12 months! With an initiation fee of 150! but if you sign up your first class (hence why they pitch the member ship to you so soon) the initiation fee will be brought down to 50$. I was sooo looking forward to getting a membership here. I really like this place, its a very fun way of working out compared to the gym but 145$ a month is not affordable for me. I used to belong to Title Boxing and there membership was only 74.99 so I came in expecting a price point of that nature not 145$. Oh well, back to the gym I go.

The "rule" is 5 min before class they lock the door and no entry, no exceptions. This "rule" is not in the contract but on a note on the front door that you can't read in the dark doorway. Drove 30 mins to be turned away; although the class had not begun and the person at the front had the time to explain the rule at the front door to my face after unlocking said door, she was unrelenting about the "rule". I'm new to the place so I'm very disappointed that this person felt so self empowered to enforce this "rule". Rude is an understatement ! Angry and frustrated is where I am. OMy name was on the class register that day so it's not like I was a random drop in. I have a 3 month contract that I WILL NOT BE RENEWING!!! What I do like about Onelife is that there is enough equipment for everyone. This place is usually busy around 4-5. The front desk staff are nice and friendly. The men trainers not so much always on their phone and are rude. Onelife needs to do some deep cleaning though I have never in my life seen so many dust in a gym and there machines are old as heck! They are going to swear they clean it everyday!

They employ coaches who genuinely want to see you reach your best, and understand everyone has their own fitness level. I've worked out most of my life, but I've never seen the results I gotten from working out here. There are 4 different rooms where they hold classes, open gym and some additional classes. They offer different class time each day, and include open gym time for those who want to work on their personal programs. They post the daily WOD on the website, along with the schedule. Each class is scheduled for an hour and is broken into phases. First, there is a warm-up and stretch phase. Second, there is a strength phase which normally consist of the current strength cycle. Lastly, there is the expected WOD. There are different Crossfit workouts daily. I was a member for a year, and don't remember repeating many WODs. There is also a F.I.T. class, which is a hybrid of Crossfit and HIIT training. Mostly women attend these classes. However, it definitely isn't "weaker" workout. It just has a different focus of training. Think of a Crossfit WOD consisting of lighter weight, more reps, and fewer rest periods. I used to try to fit in an a F.I.T class, so I can improve my cardio and muscle endurance. There is a lot more I can say, but this post is getting long lol. If my work schedule didn't change, I would still be a member of the gym. The gym is always evolving. Dawn and Jim are always looking for ways to improve the experience it's members.

Used to have a great indoor pool but it has been broken for some time and will remain so for another year I think. The gym was nice and clean; Jenna, the owner was the trainer today and she was fantastic. I have been doing 9Round for over a year and it is the one workout I have been able to stick to. It is invigorating, ever changing and the best part it is only 30 minutes for one of the best workouts you will ever have. I used to go to PF and never broke a sweat, at 9R I am sweating within the first 5 minutes until the end of the workout. Just try it, you will not be disappointed!!!

I decided that I was finally going to try it out when my kids went back to school after their winter break. I called the morning I had planned to stop by and spoke to Jenna (one of the owners) who told me to just come on in. A few hours later I showed up and did my free trial workout with Jenna as my trainer. I went home that day with every intention of joining so the next day that's exactly what I did. I've worked out with multiple trainers and have no complaints about any of them. The workouts are intense but I leave everyday feeling so accomplished. I am pretty clueless when it comes to working out so having someone tell me exactly what to do is what I needed, and that's what I got when I made the decision to join 9Round.
