I did not feel that my concerns were taken seriously, and ultimately I was the one who had to leave and cancel my membership after many years. I understand that personal situations can be complex, but when they affect members' comfort and trust, I believe they should be handled with greater care and accountability. They have an outdoor and an indoor cafe that has high quality ingredients and food, truly making it so you could spend your whole day here. On top of the workout classes, expansive gym, pools that make you feel like you are no longer in Omaha- but somewhere more tropical they also have a great workspace if you are looking to make a meeting right after a workout. They have a clean, well maintained locker room that allows you to shower and get ready for your day here as well. Life Time is truly like my second home. Perfect day: yoga, steam room and sauna, cafe for a protein packed smoothie, get comfortable in their work space and get power through some projects, pool with a book and a slushie, shower off and go home. After about a year is the same routine over and over and you won't see much improvement. After about a year I also felt that I was in a good fitness place to move to a different gym with more options in exercises, better times and a cheaper price. With that said the whole basis of this business is a giant money grab. First the unlimited membership is $179 a month per person. This gets you nothing special other than the ability to take more classes. The price can be less but that's only if you go less than 3 time a week. This particular gym you have to sign up 30 days in advance to ensure you get in a class. If you don't you're on the wait list and "hope you get in a class" . Side note - since I have started going to a different gym it's amazing how many people I run Into that have 2 gym memberships- one at OTF and one somewhere else. This is primarily due to not being able to get into classes at OTF. For $179/ mo. I better get blowies when I walk in the door and a towel for them to clean up with. If you sign up 30 days out you better not forget to cancel 8 hours prior or that's another $12 for each class you miss. OTF has a new game or competition every month or so, guess what that's another fee. So basically you can spend $250 / month just for a single gym membership. But wait there's more! You have to buy their band so that your fitness is tracked in the app. Conveniently your Apple Watch or fitbitch doesn't work on the OTF. Guess what another $150-$200 to get you started. But wait there's more- you can lower your rate by pimping out your friends like hookers in North O. Bring one friend you save $10... don't worry they will get that back when you miss a class. But wait there is more! When you go to cancel your membership they make you give 30 days notice. So if you didn't give 30 days they bill you yet another $179. Guess what if you cancel in the middle of the month that's not 30 days notice so now they bill you 2 additional months as you gave notice half way through the billing cycle so that's not 30 days so now you will pay for 60 days. It's quite the racket honestly. Before you go sign up research other gyms and their price structure. Many gyms have similar classes as OTF for less money. Also you can find most of OTF's work outs online that you can do at any gym. Garmin, apple, fit bit and other apps will track your workout just as good as the OTF tracker The manager is overweight and the shape she is in is round. She reminds me of a 35 year version of Pricilla Block. To me this is like going to AA and the instructor drinking a beer telling me how to quit drinking. At the end of the day it's your money I'm just here to tell you can find a better gym for a lot less money and have a greater experience elsewhere.

I love that this location is near a few great dining places as well. It makes it easy to put in an order for pick up on your way out from working out. The workout studio is fairly large compared to the other studios I've been to. Rather than a typical L shape I'm used to the studio is a large room with the rowers and treadmills positioned across from each other on one side near the windows and the weight floor is to the left. There's enough space for a 3 group comfortably without having to move around too much to avoid being in someone else's space. Just like the other studios there are showers and toilets available for use. Near the locker area there are also two vanity areas for you to get ready for the rest of your day with hair dryers and other essentials one would need. I love that Orangetheory offers these amenities especially for those who go straight to work or an event after working out. I know I'll be coming back to this location again soon when they all open up again. I appreciate the how central it is to other places and love the ample parking and proximity to great food joints like foodies and that bison burger place.

There are clear instructions for strength training by the person running class but never fear they have TVs on the wall with demos if you forget. The rest is choose how hard you push yourself on the treadmill and the rowing machine. For rowing it's about form which you learn. For the treadmill you choose your pace depending upon if you see yourself as a walker, jogger or runner. You wear a hear monitor to be able to judge how hard you are working. Use your scores to push yourself. The staff here are super helpful to show new people how to use everything and they can help you modify anything if you have any injuries. I will definitely return when I am in Omaha again.

They had a good amount of rooms/machines, but it was difficult to find what I wanted and I asked for directions at the front desk twice. The building is large and not really set up for a gym as far as I could tell. Maybe this building is also some sort of school? There seemed to be lots of classrooms. When I found the weight room it was overall a good experience. There were 3 stair masters--I took the 3rd and last available. There were 2 squat racks--I took the last available. There were still plenty of open machines, but nothing compared to what I'm used to. The walking track is the biggest downside by fair in my opinion. There is about a 6" slope from one side to the other width-wise at one point which is not only inconvenient, but very dangerous in my opinion! I opted to get my steps outside, but there were plenty of treadmills available. The locker rooms looked fine although I didn't use them, I saw several options while wandering around looking for the gym. The front desk attendant was very kind in helping me find my way, I was very thankful they have someone on staff for this reason! I also wish there would have been free parking and sweat towels for use, as I am used to these things, but this may just be at my location. Overall I would definitely come back in a pinch, but will probably try a different location next time I'm in Omaha.

There were plenty of life guards in the pool area, making sure the kiddos were all safe. The locker rooms were also very clean! My goal was to lose ten pounds and see if I could alleviate the pain in my knees because they were aching continuously. The trainer, Colin Gable, took his time with an interview and listened to what I wanted to achieve. During my hour-long sessions twice a week, he explains each exercise and always demonstrates them first. He adjust the machines, steps and other equipment exactly for my smaller frame. He is punctual and never leaves me during a session. He keeps accurate records so I know where we are on this journey to be the best version of me. On St Patrick 's Day of 2024, I did the 144 steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, famous for"Rocky Steps" . In early May, 2024, I had my annual physical. I had lost 18 pounds and my BMI had decreased over 3 points. My knees seldom hurt and I haven't worn a kneebrace since last November. I moved to Omaha without knowing anyone and I was unfamiliar with the city. Then I discovered Ambrust YMCA in my neighborhood. I feel a sense of belonging and my trainer has made it successful and fun. The money, time and energy I have invested in this venture has been life changing for the better.
