Teachers aren't consistent and don't pay any individual attention. I'm watching my sons coach teach him how to cartwheel wrong. She is literally showing him to step with the wrong foot first for the direction he's turning. I cancelled my membership today as I cannot stand another month here. Might as well try out the gymnastics at the YMCA. Even if it's bad there also it'll be $60 cheaper a month. Oh and class was just let out 10 minutes early?

They…read moreoffered 50 kids to swim for an hour and a half, each child had to do a swim test to see if they needed a vest, lifeguards watched the kids during the swim, they have a slide into the pool, staff was friendly and kind to kids. They allow outside food and drink to be brought in for the party. It was a great time for the kids and nice for parents to be able to get a free minute knowing lifeguards are on duty. There was a sitting area in the lobby with a large window to be able to see your kids in the pool space.

I used to attend this…read moregym back in my high school days, but returning as an adult I can see just the hub of community that it has become. The variety of having a pool, a basketball court, a running track, lifting areas, cycling rooms, workout classes for members and guests, and more makes it optimal for all types of active people. The front desk staff is attentive and kind, very helpful if you need anything. The staff working the weights floor is mostly young teens, but they regularly clean and are available when needed. I have taken a few workout classes and absolutely loved it! There is a great amount of high quality equipment that is provided, and the space itself is very clean. Floor to ceiling mirrors allowed me to see my form, and to face the opposite way and still see the instructor. The instructor herself was friendly and uplifting, and kept the workout class moving while still ensuring we all understood each movement and what we were working. The staff came in and cleaned our mats afterwards, which is reassuring! The locker rooms are very clean and spacious in my opinion. There is always free space, and also three mirrors with vanity space if you need to get ready after your workout. There are also three showers, and an ADA friendly option as well. I highly recommend Common Ground if you are in need of a family friendly gym with plenty of variety and clean, updated, facilities!

I was thrilled to see that the Zipline and trampolines were still here, and it was fun to see a small space toward the back for the "imaginative play" w dress up options, a play house, kitchen, etc. They've also added a large outdoor play set to the main area, and it seemed to be a big hit with the crowd present during our visit. Personally, I had some challenges trying to figure out when their open play hours are and where they are posted. I still don't actually know, another person in our group figured that out I'm hoping they will either make that a fixture on their own website, or at least have a pinned post on their Facebook page or something easy to access! I will say that the cafe side of things is pretty lacking - I'm not sure if there are still additions to come, but currently your food and drink options are free drip coffee from gas station-esque machine, or some snacks from a vending machine. The price of entry is about what you will pay at a couple of the other comparable play gyms in town, but in my opinion, the other spaces are nicer, more modern, more relaxing for the parents, have greater options and clearer communication about open play.

All of our experiences have been outstanding. One of the strong suits of this facility is that they seem to have very little turnover. Our experience with past facilities was that turnover was very high and it was disruptive for our daughter. Many of their teachers have long tenure. Everyone our children has interacted with has been wonderful. They are nurturing, caring and seem to have a true love for the profession that they are in. It is such a relief to drop your child off at a place where you know they are getting good care. Additionally, the assistant director Angie, is great. She is accessible, kind and very knowledgeable about your child's needs. I strongly recommend this facility for anyone who might be looking for good childcare.
