Not sure what it would look like when the HPCON level changes. The hours of operation are posted on the MWR website, and has changed periodically from November of 2020 until now, March 2021. Keep checking there for updates as times they are open changes. The gym is organized, clean, and closes for cleaning periodically throughout the work day. The basketball courts are closed for the time being and covid measures are taken seriously here. They will have a line to get into the gym and also to get into the weight room and cardio area when they reach capacity. The staff is nice and professional, and this is a good gym to go to.

Eventually I filled a fraudulent charge claim with my bank, was refunded and received an email confirming my cancellation. Even then they continued to charge me and messaged me saying they would send a report to a collections agency if I didn't pay. It's November now and I'm still dealing with this. Would not recommend.

The class was divided into stations that focused 2 moves: a tone and then a torch move. It was broken down to 4 stations. The instructor demonstrated each move and her and the other workers would correct the form of the ppl working out. I thinks this a great place for women to get a good cardio workout in a short amount of time. I loved the equipment - ropes, steppers, kettlebells, wall balls, weighted bars, dumbbells and more. It also has a child care room which makes it even more convenient for women with kids. Nice and clean place. Large workout area. It's located near the music box store in that small plaza area. Everyone seemed really friendly and it is a judgment free place. I think it's a great place for women of all fitness ranges because you modify moves to fit your abiliities.

If it's leisure your looking for you can find plenty of pick-up games at the indoor regulation size basketball court or sign-up ahead to reserve one of three three racquetball courts I personally get great use out of the cardio room upstairs. They have Stairmasters, rowers, climbers, plenty of treadmills, cycles and a padded area for stretching or using medicine balls. There are so many machines it's a rare occasion when there isn't something to use, although it can get packed during certain times (i.e. 1pm, 3pm). There are also three flat screen TV's in the room that run ESPN as well as magazines to read. Downstairs you'll find a great free-weight room, a state-of-the-art circuit room using computerized resistance machines, and a BodyMaster fitness center. These rooms are the most crowded because people tend to do multiple routines that last over an hour. The Weznel gym is a great facility with much to offer and they are constantly updating their machines as well as improving their layouts. The staff are very friendly and the machines are always clean. You really can't ask for much more for a daily use gym.

If you have a membership with Gold's elsewhere, they are not valid here. Equipment: In late 2022/early 2023, they went under some where they removed some staples that exist at ALL golds gyms and reputable gyms anywhere (flat/incline/decline bench presses) and replaced with mediocre half power racks made by nautilus. Their actual array of equipment leaves much to be desired, no real hack squat like their miramar location, no arsenal or pendulum equipment. Price: With this remodel, they have steadily increased membership dues. Their current month to month contract is $59 (+ annual fee of $49) bringing your monthly price to $63. To compare, 2 other local gyms Hardbody fitness and Workout Anytime are priced at $30/mo and $28/mo respectively. Their 1 year in full price is 757+29 processing + 49 annual which is $835, or 69.58 monthly.. how is your yearly price more expensive than your monthly? Obviously their management has zero clue and is running this business into the ground.

I am the type to ask questions if I don't understand, especially about form and nobody seems aggravated or "too good" to help me with my questions. It honestly feels like a family , which I love. There are two different membership options to choose from , 1 is eight classes a month and the other is unlimited. I chose the latter option. I love that you can book ahead and see all of the classes on an app. The machines are always clean and ready for the next group . The equipment is all new and not heavily used, which I love. Bathrooms are always clean, fully stopped with any of the extra feminine necessities you might need while stretching your body in abnormal ways I would love for you to join me for a class! Eventually another gym member opened the door for me. I went over to the trainer and asked about getting a membership. He seemed annoyed but walked to the desk to start the process. I tried making small talk and mentioned I was checking out different gyms in the area but there weren't many options. He said, "There are plenty of options, just maybe not what you're looking for." I told him I'm a powerlifter and just need a place where I can squat, bench, and deadlift. He looked up from the computer and said, "Your kind aren't welcome here." I asked what he meant, and he said powerlifters are loud, disrespectful, and bang weights. He told me if I wanted to lift like that I should go to Silverback or Fortis instead. Then he asked, "Are you going to buy a membership or not?" I said I wanted to quickly look up Fortis and see if it was any good. He responded, "I don't have time for you," and stormed off. So I left and didn't buy a membership. It's pretty disappointing to be judged like that. Treating people like that when they're just trying to sign up for a gym isn't right. You shouldn't judge a whole group of people just because you had one bad experience in the past. I ended up going to Fortis Fitness and had a great experience there.
