Love this gym. Close to the house so no excuses. There is a water massage chair which helps with any aches and pains! Not too big and so it feels like a family. I cannot recommend personal trainer, Vegas, enough. He keeps on top of the latest fitness insights to max out our workouts. We started very, very out of shape and he has helped us reverse that. I'm new to the area and have been checking out different gyms taking advantage of various 1-7 day passes. This particular anytime fitness was on the way home so decided to give it a go! Turns out you can't use a 7-day pass unless you have proof of living in the area so that was a bummer. The owner was super sweet though and let us workout for the day while he was in and showed us around. All of the equipment is brand new and recently replaced, there's just about everything you might need/want but just in smaller quantities. It's an incredibly small gym so for example, one squat rack, 2-3 benches, etc. The gym staff is very sweet though, there's complimentary cubbies with locks, a massage room, and very clean bathrooms with showers. read more

I travel all over and have enjoyed Anytime Fitness gyms that are far bigger, more equipped, and staffing is available during regular business hours. Billing side of everything is terrible with the company . I've been charged additional fees on top of the biweekly $150 for the personal training classes that I'm not attending. I even asked to downgrade my plan to take the personal trainings off , that's a no and was told by Micheal in the front office to contact the billing department. I contact billing more than once regarding downgrading and they sending my back to facility to do it.When calling billing they informed me that to downgrade the facility manager has to do , so Michael lied. Then was informed they don't see any charges made and I have a past due balance . I then state that I was just charge $45 extra on top of the $150 biweekly payments I'm making. I changed my card to make sure I'm not the one going crazy but they charged all cards , on file one for $150 another one for $19.89 and then another one for $26.78 , then saying I have a past due balance of $26 that's due . When calling the billing line the 2nd time I was advised that my account was all caught up but the same day and that they don't see any charges on my account that I just made a day. I then asked if they can text all of my cards off file due to this issue and was advised I couldn't . With everything in all , I'm allowed to take cards off and apparently I'm making payments to this facility but they don't see any of my payments. I emailed the company to dispute the charges for them say they still don't see anything when I uploaded screenshots of the charges and to reach out to the facility. This gym is perfect for the person who wants to workout independently! This gym may not have all the bells and whistles, such as a spa, lap pool, cafe' etc, but it has everything you need to get into shape and stay in shape. I just started here last week, but I fell in love the moment I walked in. They have free weights, Machine weights, several cardio options all w/ flat screen tv's on them. It's a small intimate gym that isn't the least bit intimidating. Unlike the larger gyms, there are NO pushy trainers stocking you while you're there, no skinny young girl at the door giving you the fake smile along with a rehearsed repetitive greeting either. The "staff" is usually one or two people who do not bother you. They just seem to be there just in case you have questions about anything. Matter a fact the staff/trainers are only there Monday-Thursday from 10-7 and Friday from 10-5, BUT NO WORRIES because you get your very own door key to get into the gym 24 hours a day 7 days a week! Awesomeness!!! It never seems to be over crowded, even during the after work rush. The people there are actually there to work out, they're not hanging out as if it's a "place to be and be seen." I love this gym because not only is it close to where I live, but it's small, simple, and has a very relaxed atmosphere. Take note: No towel service, so bring your own. No pushy trainers trying to sell you training sessions, vitamins, food plans etc. No lockers but they have cubby holes to put you belongings and the gym is so small and open that no matter where you're at you can see the area. Has two coed private bathrooms with showers. New equipment, and none of them have an "out of order" sign on them. It's a little more expensive then the larger gyms, but way more relaxed and extra convenient, which is something I rather pay extra for. I gave it 4 stars because I would love it more if it had a couple more bathrooms (not that I have ever had to wait) but you know just in case, and also maybe if they had a steam room or towel service. Nothing is perfect and there is always room for improvement, therefore 4 stars is pretty awesome in my book!!! read more

Aside from being tiny compared to every other Anytime Fitness I have been to... There is constant loud club music blaring over the speakers. Don't bother bringing in headphones, you won't be able to hear your own music. Not all of us want to listen to cheap dance tunes. Each time I walk in here I walk out after just 15 minutes. I can't stand it. I end up taking the longer drive over to the AF in Chandler, at least that one is spacious and quiet. read more

This gym is open 24 hours! I like it. No more excuse "it is closed now". We just get to the gym. Saturday mornings is BUSY. The evenings are less busy. The owner just completed putting in new equipment. I am still waiting for the hydro-massage machine to be delivered, but I can wait. One piece of equipment that I searched for, but have not found is the machine to work out the calves. None to be found. I have to work that out the old fashioned way with a step! Such a hard life. Overall the gym has a great space to do stretching, but no stretch cage. I miss the stretch cage in my old gym. The owner is nice and the people in the evening are really friendly and nice too. read more

Extremely small in comparison to basically any other franchise anytime I've visited in multiple states. Enough to be functional enough. Staff for the most part seems off putting as they never make eyecontact say hello etc. the usual for what you'd expect for the area. It's useful enough, but if additional closer options present themself i wouldn't hesitate to try them first. Also, little weird to have a location w pro-Israel occupation news clippings celebrating a member getting to visit an area that is known for senseless murder daily. I'm not a very political person, but as someone of foreign descent, and many friends affected by instances like this, it is a little concerning that a business owner would prefer to draw the line in the sand for visitors to their location. read more

It was exciting when I received my employer provided HSA Visa card because gym memberships are eligible for that tax-advantaged payment method. However, Anytime Fitness is refusing to accept the card for payment. Health Equity, the card issuer, says it would take a whole 5 minutes for the accounting department at Anytime Fitness to load that Visa card in their system so it would process. Corporate leadership says it's too busy to bother. The equipment and staff at my Tucson gym is excellent; however, the leadership at corporate is arrogant and clueless. read more

Looking for a convenient gym to get the job done? Anytime fitness is exactly what I needed. My busy work schedule has kept me out of the gym for over a year now. I had been a member of lifetime fitness for many years and I love it, but living in the foothills, I have to add 45 minutes to my workout time by time I drive there and back. With such a limited schedule this just became impossible for me and I eventually gave up. I have to pass anytime fitness on my way home from work every day, which requires no extra driving time to get my workout in. The gym is clean and quiet. So far I have never seen more than 5 people in there at any given time. Everything you need to get the job done is available. They also have TV's on their cardio equipment w/ direct TV. It's a nice perk that even Lifetime doesn't offer. When you purchase a 1 year membership they give you an extra month for free, or if you prefer, they have an affordable monthly price. Even working 80+ hours a week, I am no longer making excuses for my lack of fitness. Time To get the job done. I highly recommend you check them out and support a local business in one of Ahwatukee's most difficult locations. read more

I am a member. My son is home from ASU , so he got a 7 day pass. A man identifying himself as the owner kicked my son out. He claimed it is company policy that passes can't be used college students on break. I will be switching to either Ymca or LA fitness. A bad choice to give a bad impression to young people with years of gym membership ahead of them. read more

Extremely small gym. No amenities. I Come here for a quick workout. It's nice it's open 24 hours a day and its close to my house. I only like it because it's convenient. It's similar to an apartment workout gym but since I live in a house I don't have access to an apartment style workout room. read more
