They have TVs with closed captioning for entertainment This location had an upstairs area which is different, and there were elevators available. Women's and men's locker rooms were available with lockers to use (you have to bring your own lock though) and they have grab and go beverages for purchase. I did take a look at a competitor closer to my house but I did not like their layout or atmosphere. I decided to sign back up and found the PF app extremely easy to navigate. I opted to purchase a year commitment vs month to month. Doing that waived the annual fee. For a clean, safe gym with updated equipment I spent well under $300- basic membership. Returning to a purposeful, structured workout routine with equipment I am unable to have at home will help with me meet and exceed my health and fitness goals. Very pleased so far!

But this white girl that looks young told us we can't use his benefits and his membership wasn't active which what she said was bullshit and doesn't know what she's talking about at all. She must be new enough to not understand how that works. So we went to another EOS on rural and Guadalupe and they helped us both a lot! I'm a guest with my friend and I have 10 days to go to their gym without him if I wanted to. And the guy at that location agreed with us to and said he doesn't know what they're on about. He showed us my friends membership being active. So I HIGHLY recommend the EOS on Guadalupe and Rural!! They're so friendly and very kind and 100% helpful I love that location and we'll stay FAR AWAY from the EOS on Warner and McClintock CUZ SCREW U ALL.

They've packed so much equipment into the facility that it feels like they're trying to turn every available square foot into another machine. There's barely any breathing room, and when the gym is busy, it becomes an absolute nightmare to navigate. It feels less like a well-designed gym and more like a storage unit full of fitness equipment. And then there's the cleanliness--or lack thereof. For a place where hundreds of people are sweating, touching equipment, and working out every day, you'd think keeping the facility clean would be a pretty basic priority. Unfortunately, it doesn't feel that way. Management is another major disappointment. There seems to be far more interest in cramming the gym with equipment than actually maintaining the facility or improving the member experience. The priorities seem completely backwards. At some point, someone needs to realize that buying another machine isn't going to fix a dirty, overcrowded, poorly managed gym. Mountainside has plenty of equipment. What it desperately needs is better management, better cleaning, better organization, and--most importantly--some actual room to use the equipment they already have. If your idea of a great gym is an overcrowded, cramped space where cleanliness and basic upkeep seem to be afterthoughts, you'll probably love it. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

I was greeted by the most welcoming faces. Although extremely challenging, the session was filled with support, guided instruction and actual fun! Coach Efrain made me comfortable and helped me to enhance my lifting and deep squats (I did all of that recovering from a knee injury). I walked into an advance team, that was patient and encouraging. I left with fitness training, new friends and a renewed sense of personal strength. You Make CrossFit is truly a special place.

I was new to CrossFit & new to group workouts so I was a little nervous at first. Coach Efrain was really great because he broke everything down for me since I was new with some one on one personal training classes & then when he thought I was ready I joined the group classes. The group classes are really fun because everyone is so welcoming and we all push each other so it makes for a great workout. The other thing I like about the classes is the different workouts Coach E would have planned for us. I feel it's a good mix of workouts throughout the week that target different parts of the body. Being that I'm 37 now and had use to have some back pain, I feel the best I ever felt. I'm not big on leaving reviews but for Coach E, it's the least I can do to say how thankful I am for my time there.

We have been working with one trainer, Patrick, for years so when he moved here a few years back, we moved with him. As for the facility itself, it is such a relief to go to a "gym" where the staff is constantly cleaning!!! And disinfectant is readily available after your training session. Plenty of equipment for all your needs. Whether you are a novice or training for a competition, you will find the right tools to help you with your goals. Now, as it is a training gym, you have to sign up with a trainer. I would recommend talking with a few and see which one best fits your needs, budget and your schedule. Also, you may want to sit in and maybe see a few trainers at work. Again, Patrick is our guy. While he previously helped me maintain a healthy body, he has repeatedly helped me rehab from surgery and injuries. Just this year I was diagnosed with a frozen shoulder. After weeks of professional therapy I finally went back to work with Patrick. His sports background and muscle/bone knowledge helped him create a custom routine for me. By the time I went back to see my physical therapist I was raising by "frozen" hand and amazed my therapist at the amount of progress made in a few weeks. Yeah, pretty amazing!! There are showers for those who need to go to work after their workout and seats for waiting if you arrive early, though your trainer will probably recommend you roll out or warm up to maximize your workout. Oh, and there are a few staff trainers as well as other independent trainers you can work with. Absolutely no reason why you can't find a perfect trainer at the perfect location!

I contacted Chris at Atlas in regards to a personal trainer who I paid for sessions with, who was…read morethen terminated from the gym. I had contacted the trainer and received no reply, and so I finally reached out and left a message for the staff at Atlas. Chris's wife reached out that night and I was very impressed that they were so quick, she gave me Chris's number and said to reach out to him to get everything figured out. I messaged Chris the next day to see how they can help, per the phone conversation the night before. I sent him all of my text messages showing the personal trainer cancelling, schedule that was supposed to happen, and amount that I paid to this trainer. He said that he would talk to his guys to see about working something out since I paid and received a quarter of the training promised. The discussion with Chris happened on January 7th, I reached back out January 22nd to check in and heard nothing. It is now January 28th and it is silent. I have not received a refund or any makeup sessions with a different trainer as discussed. I am very reasonable and willing to work things out with what they can do to help me, but I am disappointed that I received no update and no messages back on this subject. At the very minimum, I expect to receive an answer - my advice, spend your hard earned money at a gym that actually follows up, cares about clients that come to their facility, and doesn't hire people who can't be trusted.

In the parking lot, their members assemble and get ready for their group activity. This is the first gym I have seen to adapt in this way. Social distancing and exercise in a group. The gym has tents set up to save from the hot summer sun. I am not into CrossFit I am not that caliber yet but I am recommending this gym for their innovative response to our new normal. Great job!

I was prompted to join a waitlist, so I wasn't expecting to hear anything back quickly. I was pleasantly surprised to get an email from Michael Collins within the hour! Michael emailed me and asked if I'd like a tour. I let him know I could swing by that night at 7:30 PM. He replied letting me know he'd be there and asked that I text him when I was on my way, great! I texted Michael at 7 PM letting him know I'd be leaving in 20 minutes to get there by 7:30, and I attempted to re-confirm my appointment. I didn't get a reply, but the gym is close to my house, so I decided to go anyway. I arrived at about 7:28. The door was unlocked so I stepped inside. I was greeted by 3 dogs and 0 humans. The dogs seemed nice, but I didn't want to take any chances so I stepped outside and sent Michael another text saying I had arrived. I then saw that he read my text at 7:32 but he didn't reply. I waited a bit and called him at 7:42, no answer. I still waited until about 7:50 and decided to give up and go home. I ALWAYS try to give people the benefit of the doubt, so the next morning I sent Michael another email asking what had happened... I still have not heard back from that email to this day 1/15. I'm super disappointed because I really wanted to support a local gym and experience the welcoming community talked about in the comments. The ball was absolutely dropped, here.

I'm going to be direct, my experience using the 7-day pass is the reason I did not return…read more I came in to see if the gym felt like a space I'd actually use. I clearly stated multiple times to the general manager that I did not want to discuss membership yet and just wanted to work out. Despite that, I was kept in a prolonged sales conversation for roughly 40 minutes and was told a tour was required to "activate" my pass. At multiple points, I explicitly asked to end the conversation so I could start my workout, and that request was ignored. Being pushed to continue a sales discussion after setting that boundary made me uncomfortable enough that I avoided coming back altogether. A "no commitment" pass shouldn't require someone to push through a high-pressure sales interaction just to access the gym. That approach had the opposite effect of what I assume was intended, it drove away someone who was genuinely considering joining. I did not return because I did not want to have to sit through a sales pitch again as if I was buying a car instead of a $10-$30 membership. If you're open to feedback, I would strongly recommend giving trial members the option to bypass or immediately exit sales conversations when they've clearly declined. The gym was packed, the parking lot being full is a sign of how busy it is inside. I also didn't see almost anyone wiping off equipment after use and that wasn't discussed on my tour.
