Okay gym, if a little small. The customer service is really bad though. I ran into a situation where my key fob to open the door broke, and I contacted the company to get a replacement. A manager named Troy got back to me after about a week and a half and listed some days and times I could come by for a new fob. I told him when I was planning to stop by. I showed up during hours when he specifically said he would be there, and no one was in the office. This happened on two separate days. My other efforts to contact anyone else at the company have gone unanswered -- I've tried by phone, email, and Facebook business chat. Just really bad customer service. read more

I canceled my membership last month just to be charged again this month. Before that I had been trying to cancel it for over a year and never heard back from anyone until I started threatening on the voice messages. I was told for November I would not get charged again and I was. Brandon the owner of this location needs to get his shit together before I start breaking shit at your location. I really dont care. I wanted to give it a few weeks, at least 10 visits. Have a decent selection of equipment and cardio choices, no reason to not find something else to do if a piece of equipment is taken. I have found the rest rooms and shower areas to always be clean, but as with any public place you have the occasional slob. My biggest complaint would be the wanna be gym warriors who refuse to rack their weights. During my last visit, every free weight machine had a couple plates on it. Not an issue for me, but very intimidating for someone who maybe starting out and can't drag 4 45 LB plates off the leg press, or the lateral bench press, or 90 lbs of the calf raise etc..I am of the opinion if you don't rack your weights you are a douche and most likely a poor human. I have noticed they can a bit slow in equipment repair- I don't think it should take 4 days and counting to replace a cable. I've been a member here for around 5 or 6 years and have always been very satisfied with the quality of the site. They offer a huge number and variety of machines, all in good shape. The restrooms are in very decent shape, all works well. I've never showered here since I live fairly close by but everything seems to work well. read more

The location is good. But they seem to have issues with supplies and maintenance. Over a week with no cleaning items for the machines. No hand sanitizer. The water fountains have been broken and previously one of the bathroom door lock was broken for a month. At $50+ per month you would hope to be stocked. I am hoping it will improve or someone takes it over that wants success. read more

Great gym. Always sparkling clean. I'v NEVER had to wait for a machine. Trainers are available if needed (not pushy) and the admin folks are there to help. Parking is covered and free. Members are chill and courteous... glad I found this place. read more

This location has gone down the drain ever since the last manager Brandon left. He was friendly and place was always clean. No one has been here for almost a year since. place seems sketchy now and restrooms and equipment is always dirty. No sanitation napkins for over month. $60 a month you would expect more . Facility offers a quarter of equipment compared to near by gyms but anytime fitness is double the price! Look elsewhere before signing a contract! read more

Borden Team -- pretty disappointed with AF my experience today. The gym doors didn't work this morning, and then when I came back after work and tried to workout -- they were still "down." But somehow there were a select few people on the machines in the gym, despite the sign posted on the door apologizing for the doors being down? It's a little fishy! It was within staffed hours -- why can't there be someone there with the door propped open to let members in? Why can you not update people (via Facebook, or IG) when the doors are down & when they are back up and running? I understand that might be bad publicity, but this is really pretty poor form and really inconveniences a lot of your members. Really want to do right by your members? Refund them for the day they could not access your gym. It's not "Anytime" if you can not truly get in to workout... at any time. Your Sparks location is stellar -- but this Midtown location is really falling short, and am really disappointed :( read more

Love this place! Yes it's on the petite side but Pros: Amazing staff- yes I placed this first because actually greatest staff of most establishments I've ever encountered. This is a joke I went to sign up and I don't know about anyone else but I'm trying to get on the healthy path and it takes a lot to do it. So when I get there there's a sign on the door that says call to make an appointment to sign up. Lol that just turns business away. Oh well plant fitness it is. read more

I've had an Anytime Fitness membership in WA for years with zero issues. The WA club was always staffed with someone to sort out member inquires etc. This reno location is not, or at least infrequently. The only way to cancel is in person. No staff onsite, therefore no way to cancel in person. If you move, good luck. They will not return your calls or emails, of course, because they don't have to. I'm a bit jaded from this 4 month cancellation process. As a former LA Fitness manager I have firsthand experience in this industry. I had to call other locations to escalate the issue. Looking at other reviews here you can see a trend in non-existent management and poor member experience. If I didn't return calls and ignored the emails of my customers, I wouldn't have a successful business. This franchise gets sheltered by these tactics because of contracts (I was month to month) and the protection of a sole avenue cancellation policy. IF they had to earn your business each month, things would be entirely different... read more

ABSOLUTE THIEF'S! My contract was up as of 11/19, they were paid for the entirety of my contract. Moved out of state, didn't renew. Called let them know, hey, I'm no longer in state. The not very bright boy who I spoke to kept saying I had to come to the office, and sign papers I wasn't going to be a client any longer. Had to yell at him that I no longer lived in NV! Oh, you're out of state! HELLO! Now they are attempting to get money for after my contract ended via a collection agency! Time to call the attorney, it will cost me more to do this, than they want. Place has zero standards for preventing Covid. The trainers are clowns and unprofessional. The equipment is good for the price but could be better for serious athletes. The classes are good but no one really seems to care about the member experience. Overall it's in the bottom 20% of gyms per price. read more

Rheanna replied to my trial inquiry with a quickness! She was super welcoming and down to earth, making it feel comfortable for a newcomer. Gym is very clean and has cleaning station throughout. Gym even has private bathrooms/showers! Their WiFi password is displayed easily, which sounds insignificant, but is very helpful. Free parking too! read more

This is a small gym and their manager loves to talk over women and mansplain them during any issue. I was so upset over this that I took it higher up, and although the owner addressed the issue and explained the reasoning behind the issue, he failed to apologize for the managers behavior. Not to mention how long it took me to actually even get a response from the manager regarding follow up on the issue. It's the worst customer service I've ever experienced. If you have a choice between picking this gym, an another- pick another. I will be switching, to a gym who's manager doesn't make me feel uncomfortable as soon as I can. read more

I have lived all over the country and I have been a member of countless gyms. In many ways this is the best one I have ever joined. First of all, it really is available anytime. You get a fob so you can let yourself in whenever you want ,regardless of whether there is staff on hand. Second, although it is not a big gym, it has everything you might likely want and it is really never particularly crowded, even after work. It's a clean and bright space, and the staff is really friendly and helpful. Miraculously, the weights are always back in place and everything clean and tidy. The group exercise sessions are really good, and they also have personal trainers. Probably not the cheapest gym in town, but it may well be the best. (It does get extra points for being within walking distance of my home!) read more
