I originally booked a kayaking trip with them back in May for June. I admit that I booked for the wrong day and that was on me. However, I tried to call them the next day (a month in advance) to get the date changed. I had to email and call in 2-3 times before reaching someone. He said that it was not a problem to get the date changed. I asked for something in writing about the date change and it took reaching out to 2-3 times again to get the date changed. Things happen that was no problem. The day of our kayaking trip we showed up. The gate was locked so we tried to call in for the trip. He then answered and said that he had cancelled our trip for and sorry if "you missed my email". He never emailed me. I asked him to please check our reservation as I looked it up and we never received an email. He just kept telling me that it was my fault and that it was a flood there was nothing he could do. He never apologized and then started cursing at me. I showed him by text that I didn't think I had been issued a refund. I tried to give it a few more days for my bank to process a refund then I received an email stating that our reservation was on for the original date. He has now reverted to sending me pictures of his system and emojis without actually speaking to me. Our bank has not received the refund and I am having to file a dispute with my bank. I completely understand why our trip was cancelled but he has been nothing but rude, uncommunicative and unprofessional. Book somewhere else.
