We have used Anytime pool service for many years. While years ago I may not have recommended them, today I do. They are very consistent on coming at the day and time I request (a point of big improvement). They do a complete job, and do so in an appropriate amount of time. I( really like the new app they are using to give weekly reports of each service, including water chemistry and amount of chemicals used, as well as pictures of the completed job. At first I was weary, reading the reviews and seeing some peoples negative experiences, but! I would like to say that Matt and his company have grown a lot and are honestly some of the best I've experienced since owning my home. I was with a previouse pool company for a bit, but as that went south I decided to contact Anytime Pools. They have been out every time they said they'd come, and if not able to make it, have communicated thoroughly. I try not to burden them outside of their hours listed with phone calls, but I have sent plenty of texts that usually get replied to soon after. Overall, my experience has been great. We used any time pools for our routine pool service. While the owner, Matt, was servicing our pool we had no issues. however, he had a foot injury, and subsequently hired a bunch of random people with little to no experience. They would no show, not brush and skim the pool, leave the chlorine strips on the ground (we have pets that would find them and chew on them) and were constantly on the phone while providing service in our backyard. On one occasion, I went outside to ask him a question, and he was making derogatory comments about his clients. They were also hired to service our above ground spa. At one point I asked the tech if he was actually servicing the spa, because the chlorine tablets were not being used he said, "I thought you were putting the chlorine in, because every time I shake the floater, it sounds like there is chlorine in there." the sound was the cap rattling. So I have no idea what we were paying for or what he was actually doing for 8 Months, besides opening it and looking inside. It then became clear he was not servicing the spa at all, as the water was green, and there was mold and erosions with rust. (This was a brand new $17,000 spa, by the way). I contacted the owner, and he took no accountability for his employees, and continued to make excuses as to why that might've happened. Honestly, his excuses made no sense. And even if there was a good reason for it, why wouldn't his tech tell us that the water was green and that there was mold and erosion. That clearly didn't happen overnight. So he essentially watched it become worse and worse and worse and said nothing about it. We canceled service. The icing on the cake, was that his employee needed to come pick up a hose that was left at our house, which was rolled up in the front yard for pickup. I see his employee in our backyard with the spa open, taking photographs. I informed them that their service had been terminated, and he should not be in my backyard. He then created an elaborate story about not being able to find the hose, which is why he was in my backyard. Like his hose would be inside of a full spa with the lid down. Again, when the owner was contacted he blindly defended his employee. Their service is awful and their employees are incompetent and dishonest. If you care about your property, time and money, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We ended up paying $900 to have Hot Tubs Plus come out and try to fix the disaster that anytime pools created. We used Anytime Pools for maintenance for our inground pool since August 2021. While Damian was performing the service, we had no issues and the service was exceptional. However since he has gone, service has not been satisfactory and recently has gone to totally unacceptable. We have now been without any service for over 3 weeks. They have lost the key to my yard and if I am not home they just leave and do not come back for at least a week. The bookkeeper kept sending me dunning notices for invoices that I had not received usually after I had already paid the one I did receive. I would not recommend this service. If I could leave a no star rating I would but to leave a review I had to give the one star. read more

In the beginning he was good. Then worker stopped showing up and he did not know. The pool got ugly and draining was suggested. I worried, but Matt assured me in front of witnesses that he would make it all good. Pool was draining when he informed me the additional provider had flaked out. So I worked hard to find replacement. Pool cracked. Matt attempted patching, it was ugly and dangerous. After refilling the pool was never decent. When I documented no service (again), I called. After dozens of calls and its dangerous and damaged to value of my home. read more

He can be a miracle worker and best in bakersfield; however. Right now his mailbox remains full and my pool walks are unhealthy. His staff isnit nearly as good as he himself had been. My pool has permanent damage area because of being drained upon recommendation for cleaning tile. His tile cleaner didn't come to do work. Pool cracked in several places and the repair does not look good and pool is not great appearing and has grown black stuff on walks for weeks so no swimming. Occasionally someone has come out but the pool looks unhealthy though water is clear. Don't know how to proceed to help him be great again read more

My pool looked kind of like a swamp. Im pretty sure things were living in it. Matt drained it and cleaned it for me and now it looks great.
