I would give zero stars if that were an option. This company operates in a highly unprofessional manner, and I would not recommend their services to anyone. Initially, the owner performed acceptable work for a few months. After that, however, he began sending his child or other inexperienced individuals who clearly lacked the knowledge required to properly maintain a pool. The quality and reliability of service declined significantly. Additionally, I experienced a serious car accident that temporarily left me unable to pay a bill by the scheduled date. Instead of showing any understanding or professionalism regarding the situation, the owner repeatedly demanded payment and threatened to publicly "blast" me on Facebook and other social media platforms if I did not provide the money sooner than the date I had already committed to. This kind of behavior is unprofessional and completely unacceptable from a business that claims to provide a service to the public. I'm posting this so others are aware and can avoid dealing with the same issues I experienced. There are far better pool service companies available. I do not recommend Chris or his company for pool/spa repairs or upgrades. They were hired to convert plumbing and equipment from chlorine to salt. Chris failed to include the check valve required in the original quote and only realized it was necessary after speaking with the Pentair rep which increased the total amount due and he charged me $40 for install. Quality and Craftsmanship lack in attention to detail. Blue glue and overspray were all over surrounding concrete and equipment including the brand new salt generator. He didn't bring enough couplers and so I have a random parts on my plumbing to make up for his lack of, which was leaking and required repair. They also dumped numerous bags on salt into my pool and never moved it around to dissolve it, just left it in a pile at the bottom of the pool. During the new plumbing installation he removed my water temp sensor and never reinstalled it, actually left the cut line running to my panel box. I contacted Chris after he left asking why my heater wouldn't power on. His first claim was they never touched the electrical portion of my heater even though moments later in conversation he stated they removed the breakers for every component...hmmm. He also stated he wouldn't be available to even consider coming out to troubleshoot until the following week. Never heard from him again. Some simple internet research on my part indicated the heater will not power on without a working water temp sensor. You'd think a qualified/certified/licensed pool technician would know that information. Save yourself the headache, follow up cleaning, and repairs/troubleshooting required after he leaves and then ignores you. read more

Beyond blue pools is good at what they do and they will give you your moneys worth in hard work! Chris, the owner, has been keeping my pool serviced weekly for over a decade. He has drained the pool for re-plastering, followed by start up chemicals and plaster brushing. Twice a year he cleans the filter cartridges. He has replaced my sweep, filter cartridges, cleaned my tile and even replaced valves. He knows pools, equipment and chemicals. He is good at what he does and is a hard worker. read more

For one they show up when they feel like it then lie saying they came when they clearly haven't. Last straw was waking up to a air release valve on the filter left open and now a lake in the backyard and more than a foot of water out of the pool. Came and did a crappy job cleaning the pool yesterday and this morning wake up to a mess. Do not use them!!!!! UPDATE - received this oh so nice message from the owner. I have our whole conversation and "work" being done on camera audio and visual. We live in new tract homes still being built on top of we live in Bakersfield, enough said. We were an account given to them by another company that could no longer service pos since they are a pool builder. The owner of this company had excuse after excuse of why he didn't even show up when we were waiting for him to even meet and discuss the pool. It was dark once he did and my husband had to text and call to figure out where he was 4+hours later. So that should have told us right there to stay away! read more

Sadly I have to give this company one star service. Since we have started service he mangled the lock on the gate. After we changed the lock at our own expense, we asked that he notify us before he comes so that we can unlock the gate because we do not feel comfortable leaving it open. He could not come at a reliable or regular time as most companies give you time frames (like between 2-4 PM for example). So his idea of a notification is "hi am at your door and your gates locked." But despite not doing any service he expects to be paid full price for knocking on the door. However if you need him to come and do an extra day of service you will be told to wait until your next regular day and you will quickly find out how unimportant you are as a customer. Additionally I asked him to service the Jacuzzi and was blown off twice I don't know why they claim to perform those type of services. read more

They started good, a little high priced for the market. But they did a good job of getting the pool back in shape and cleaning it. They were reliable for about a little less than a year. The other day I get a call from my renter stating the pool is green again and they have not been there for a month. Yet I was paying for their service. I contacted the guy and he stated he could not get a hold of me to let me know he is raising his price due to inflation. He had my address, email address and my phone number until a month ago when I had to change it. There was not contact from him at all. He just did not show up. Then I told him he had been paid already and he needs to go clean the pool which he let turn green over the last month. He stated he had only not been there for 2 weeks. This was an outright lie. He was not there for a month. Verified by the renter. She cleaned or attempted to clean the pool last month because he did not show up. He was supposed to be there on Monday to correct his mistake of letting the pool turn green by not showing up. Again he did not show up. This service is unreliable and untrustworthy. I had to contact another pool service and cancelled my service with his even though he owns me money for the time he did not show up. Stay far away from this business. Chris was referred to me by a friend, I had numerous issues with my pool and he was able to bring it back to life. I am able to enjoy it for the rest of the summer. I was trying to regulate the chemicals by myself using Leslie Pool Supply and all I was doing was wasting my money.
