The pump motor quit working So I called up looking for parts and they told me they don't sell parts but they'll sell me a new pump motor. I went to the Amazon website and purchased a 50 MF Round capacitor for $17 I removed the two screws On top of the pump motor revealing the housing for the capacitor I removed the two wires going to the capacitor, discharged it by bridging the terminals with a screwdriver and then installed my $17 Capacitor. turned the power back on and the repair was complete. They knew this. They are in the business for crying out loud.

Chris was recommended to me by a friend and I ended up contacting him on social media. This was a good sign for me because some of the other companies I met with didn't even know how to text. Now, I'm not saying people who don't text or use social are bad in any way, but it showed me that they aren't up on the latest technology. Chris got back to me quickly and we were able to set up an appointment. I have a fairly busy schedule but Chris was very accommodating. He was able to come over on a Saturday afternoon and we spent about 2 hours going over my pool. There are so many adjustments I had no idea about. We talked all about the pump, skimmer, and he even helped me with my remote settings so I can better control the pool with my phone. Next we started talking about pool chemistry. Chris was extremely patient with me as we each did water tests and compared the results. I learned a couple of big things that day. The first is that Chris isn't a "pool guy" he's actually a pool tech. He's attended numerous seminars and conferences about pools, water chemistry, and equipment. Who knew! The other thing I learned is that I need a pool tech and that I shouldn't be doing this alone. At least not for the first year of owning a new pool. So if you are in need of an amazing pool tech, I can't recommend Chris enough! Just wanted to add that I have a dog and Chris was great with dogs too. He didn't care that my dog was in the back learning with me.
