The matcha is not ceremonial grade, it was way too sweet, already sweetened. The owner did not even know what kind of matcha they had, he was very rude and defensive when asked about it. If you want good quality matcha don't get it here, go to Nook instead (they have ceremonial grade PLUS it's a little cheaper!) I've been here twice now, and I really, really wanted to like this place more than I actually do. The interior is decorated so cutely, and it's definitely an instagram-worthy location for cute cafe pics with friends. Wifi is provided for free, so it's a great spot to spend one's afternoon studying. The owners are so sweet and welcoming, and it's always a nice thing to be able to support small businesses. However, both times I came here, the coffee just tasted off. I'm not sure what they use to sweeten their beverages, but mine had some really strong after taste that made it undrinkable after a few tentative sips. I also tried their macarons and the shells were hollow, which can be attributed to a myriad of different baking mistakes, but at $1.75 per piece, it was not that big of a deal. Also, both times I came here to study, the interior of the cafe was swelteringly stuffy -- not sure why the owners choose to keep their air-conditioning off, but it's just a word to the wise (especially those who are heat-senstive). I don't know that I will come back, but that's just my personal preference, as I'm pretty picky about my coffee. By the looks of the other reviews, it does look like there are those who love frequenting this cafe, so it would be good to make one's own judgement by checking this place out for one's self. read more

I've come here every single time after I'm done getting a haircut, since it's right next door. And it's been nearly two years of amazing customer service with equipped baristas who are at your service. They will answer any questions you may have to the best of their knowledge on their selection of drinks to choose from and will do it with a smile (even if you can't see it with their mask on haha). My go to is normally an iced vanilla latte, which always comes out great. A nice creamy texture, followed with a slight espresso aftertaste. It can definitely set for a great mood if you're just relaxing and kicking back in the cafe. My second go to is a lavender latte, which has a good balance of lavender and coffee, so the drink is never overwhelming at all. But of course, you can always ask the barista if you wanted more or less of a specific syrup flavoring. For example, I recently ordered a blueberry lavender latte and after tasting it, I knew I wanted something a little different in the drink. The barista offered the option of either more lavender or strawberry and/or strawberry rose syrup. I chose strawberry syrup and it helped make a drink seem a little bit lighter and sweeter. But with that great customer service and the options to truly customize your drinks, it really calls for a great experience. read more

it was my friends birthday and I wanted to get her a special coffee so I searched on line and saw this place. it's not the easiest to get to because it's surrounded by apartments but so worth it!! Beautifully decorated outside and inside. The young lady was as pleasant as possible and the coffee!!! yum! we ordered a panini and it was delicious! The music was gentle and pleasant. Apartment Cafe is located on the bottom floor of Arte Apartments. This must be a super convenient location for those who live in the complex- I know I would love to be able to run downstairs to my local coffee joint without having to drive. However, if you do not live close by, there is a severe lack of parking, like other reviews have mentioned. They have 2 reserved spots but it doesn't seem like nearly enough. It was a hot day so I wanted to grab something refreshing so I opted for the pomegranate raspberry iced tea. The iced tea was really good. Drinks: (I didn't have a chance to enjoy their food) I got a 16 oz pumpkin pecan latte with oat milk and my boyfriend got a 16 oz coffee (our bill came out to ~$10). The drinks are tasty and they have many other options on the menu. Next time I would ask for less sweetener in my latte (personal preference, I did ask the help barista about the sweetness level and made the decision to try the original sweetness level). Ambiance: We came on a Sunday afternoon and it was quiet, peaceful, and comfortable (they have a/c and tables that don't have sun exposure. The lo-fi music, plants, wall art, and pink/green/gray color scheme are all super cute. Parking: There are two parking spots directly outside the shop reserved for Apartment customers. On a Sunday afternoon, we parked in one and the other was empty for the entire half hour we were there. But if both spots are taken, I think there is street parking around the corner too. This place is very good. I'm surprised I didnt find out about it till now. Their drinks here are absolutely amazing. The makiato was very good, bold coffee rich in flavor. The Lavender Latte was extreamly good. It was not to bold and not to soft of a Lavender taste and was somewhat refreshing for a coffee. The Honey Peach tea was perfect and refreshing. The paninis were nice and crispy on the outside because they use a press to cook it on the outside. There was a perfect amount of pesto and cheese. The business owner Amir is very friendly and personable. I would highly recommend this place from all of the things I have tried so far. 10/10 read more

Beautiful new cafe in the heart of Rancho Cucamonga! Was so excited to see that an independently owned and operated coffee place had opened! Nice change from the usual coffee chain franchises. The owners did such a fantastic job with the artistic and whimsical European inspired decor on the interiors. The ambiance is really cute and comforting. There were so many people here to get their coffee/tea/pastry fixes! The cafe's creative list of drinks are delightful; I enjoy their hot teas and iced lattes (vanilla, regular, caramel), and they also offer milk alternatives for those whom are lactose intolerant: Oat, almond, and/or coconut milk. So upon arrival I immediately thought "so cute!" I moved here from Los Angeles, so I miss all the cute coffee cafe vibes. And this place definitely has cute LA/European cafe feels. I ordered their "apt makiato" and it's good. The customer service is great but when I asked if we could have our croissant warmed up the young woman behind the counter said they didn't have a toaster yet. So that's why the 4 stars. It's a new place so I understand but at the same time I wish I could have had a warm croissant. First world problems.
