It's a small cafe but when you go inside it's really cute and has good decorations, nice background for your instagram or for your selfies. The place is clean, quiet and cozy for studying or to just chill. The owner is really nice and friendly. They also do catering and private events such as tea parties for special occasions. We tried the Turkish coffee, the flavor is strong and bold and get to enjoy it with their Turkish delight! We also ordered the iced Lavender latte and iced Rose latte and both were bottoms up! The owner (middle eastern man in his 50s) lost his temper when a couple of children at the next table over were touching the items by the toys. He yelled and pointed at them in an extremely condescending manner. Said things like "who educated these kids?!" There are ways to go about situations in the workplace (this IS his job) and this was the absolute worst way to handle it. This made me and my friend extremely uncomfortable, so we ended up leaving shortly after. I don't think I could give this establishment a second go... being a mother, and grandmother myself. For a grown man AT WORK to speak to young women in this manner...Who raised YOU????? Oh yeah..and the food, coffee and parking situation was horrific. A super cute coffee shop located right below an apartment structure. Seems super convenient for tenants to escape to a little place to grab coffee with friends or to get work done! I visited Apartment cafe to get some work done and ordered a vanilla latte during my stay. The place is fairly small but had enough tables. There were families coming in and students studying. Seating and table space were pretty decorated and enough space with some outlets on walls. The person working was nice enough to point to outlets incase I needed them. I thought the coffee was kind of steep for the price, I noticed on the receipt afterwards that between the two cup sizes I can pick from, I chose the smaller one and was still tacked on a 20 cent fee for a medium? They didn't have 2% milk and just had whole with alternatives, so my latte came to almost $7 which was kind of a lot. Coffee was mid and not too strong. I recommend the place to come hangout and take cute pictures. IDK about going for the actual coffee though read more

Apartment Cafe opened in July 2020 so they've been open for 1 year now. The owners actually live at the complex so you're supporting a locally owned and run business when you come here. I know the couple (Nora and Amir) and their son do work here. This café is located on the northeast corner of Foothill and Hermosa. The two downsides are that you can only enter when you're driving west on Foothill Blvd and parking is limited. They have a couple dedicated parking spots right in front. I was here on Friday around 7:45AM and was able to find parking easily. Logan was my barista and he was very friendly and easy to talk to. The owners wanted to bring some European flair to the City which is much appreciated. The décor here is adorable; great for photo ops and of course for the "gram". They have indoor and outdoor seating. My husband and I have tried several of their drinks; specialty ones for the holidays and most recently I've tried their lavender and caramel lattes. If you plan to staying to do a little office work or dine in you'll need to street park recommendations is on Hermosa. The place was super cute the aesthetics were very cutesie cafe vibes. I have been putting off writing a review for this place since I wanted to try the drink menu to give a fair review. I have been coming here for a lunch panini almost biweekly for the past couple of months. A veggie panini includes a perfectly pressed sandwich with spinach, cheese, and mayo/pesto. Sides include chips and if you like punchy flavors, make sure to ask for some peppers on the side! All for the affordable price of $6.99, like you can't go wrong there. Amir knows my order as soon as I walk in. Today, I got a coffee since I was working her for a while. I got an iced tiramisu latte with oat milk. I really enjoyed this drink. It was sweet and creamy but I could still taste the espresso (a smooth and muted flavor). This is a great place to hangout/study/work. The wifi is good and there are 3 outlets around the seating. Went here to try for the first time. I was really excited when I got the PB monster drink. it was milk and a shot of powdered peanut butter mixed up for $8.99 I was very disappointed. It didn't even taste great with the peanut butter in it it kind of gave it a burnt taste you didn't even really taste the peanut butter in it. but I do want to go back and try their coffee drinks give them another try. Okay, first of all, how CUUUUUTEEEE. I have driven past the adorable bike off foothill so many times, but I finally got out and decided to give their coffee a try. Not only is there super cute outdoor seating, but the inside is a total vibe and honestly looks like could have been decorated by me (lol my place is mostly pink, white and marble too ‍ I LOVED it and will definitely be back to get some weekend work done here. The ambiance is relaxing. I had my dog and was told he could be inside or outside (feeding him or drinking outside). Most places only allow dogs in patio only so it's a ++ for me! I love this place! Everything about it! But let's start with the most important part, which was the customer service. The gentleman working there (who I believe may be the owner) was so personable, sweet, and accommodating. He went above and beyond with suggestions, complimentary add ons, and just being passionate. This made the experience even better. Next- the main thing here is the coffee. I got an iced horchata latte and my partner got the love latte which was a seasonal Valentine's Day latte with white chocolate and strawberry. Those lattes were excellent in flavor. Next - the food. To start off we got an order of the German baklava - which was house made- and this was the only thing that was just OK.. it was made with walnuts, and I prefer it with pistachios and a little bit more honey to make it a little sweeter. It was a little bland. Following, I ordered a turkey pesto panini which was soooo good. The bread was lightly toasted, which is how I like mine, and the sandwich was just overall flavorful and light. So yummy! My partner ordered the chicken melt panini, which was equally as light and flavorful. The gentleman who made the Panini added banana peppers for extra flavor after asking if it was okay with us. Lastly- the interior of this shop is so girly I love it! As a coffee lover, I had the pleasure of visiting Apartment Cafe on a cloudy Friday afternoon. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the bright and welcoming atmosphere. The cafe had plenty of seating inside and outside, making it a perfect spot for working, studying, or relaxing with friends. I ordered a Rose Latte, and the flavor balance blew me away. It had just the right amount of sweetness and floral notes without being overwhelming. Alongside my latte, I tried the Lemon & Yuzu macaron, which tasted like summer in every bite. The macaron was zesty, tangy, and paired perfectly with my latte. Finally, I tried the Veggie Panini, which had the perfect amount of cheese and was served with potato chips. Love this place! I'm such a cafe nerd and Apartment Cafe did not disappoint. So excited that I found it and the Yelp reviews were spot on. Very cute, comfy seating with a few outlets around for working (I work remotely so it was nice to come here). I ordered the rose latte with a Madeline on the side, and the barista let me choose my cup so cute. The music was great and I got a lot done! I enjoy the environment- it's adorable and the people are friendly. They have kids books which make it easier njoyable to sit your littles and read while having a drink or bite to eat... But I've been here 3 times different times of day and weekend/mid week and each time they take really long to serve, because there's usually just 1 person working (1 person doing it all- taking orders and making the food and drinks). So he or she stops whatever they are doing each time to take next order and start again. So it takes 10+ mins for one drink to be made. Best of you have lots of time to wait, not so much if you want a cup of coffee on your way to work, or elsewhere. I think they just need 1-2 more people to help with service times then would be an amazing place for all occasions, not just a leisurely long afternoon. read more

Great place. We came in late Sunday afternoon and needed to perk up. My husband had the Turkish coffee and it definitely picked him up. I had the iced lavender latte. It was lightly sweet, but perfect for a warm day. Turkey pesto was delicious. Tiramisu and flan were great as well. But I must admit the flan was not as good as my mom's ;) The best part, however, was the customer service. It was great talking to Amir & hear about his many adventures as a business owner and entrepreneur. Definitely recommend this place. Came here in the morning for some coffee and to sit down and talk and catch up with a few friends. This is located on the first floor of the new(ish) arte apartment building right off foothill. There's actually a parking lot where you can park as suppose to parking on the street off Hermosa. It's a small little Cafe. Many small tables with hard plastic chairs. Seating outside also but the traffic noise and it being a 100 degrees was off-putting. Buy inside it was bright and eclectic, looks whimsical and fun. And most importantly you cant hear the traffic of foothill so that's nice. They have multiple drink concoctions. With more traditional drinks, then they also have a more seasonal menu. And all drinks can be ordered cold or hot. Batista is nice and friendly. Got our drinks out quickly. Served them in reusable glass Mason jars. I ordered their iced white chocalate pumpkin which says is sugar free but you couldn't tell. It was sweet in a good way and you can taste all the flavors of the white chocalate and pumpkin. It was refreshing. I just wish some of the chairs had cushion on it, or they had some sort of sofa, or something more comfortable to sit in so that people can lounge there a little bit longer. 3 iced drinks came out to a little over $17. I will definitely be back to try some other drinks, cuz I'm a firm believer in supporting small local businesses as suppose to large corporate behemoths, especially when the dmall business is doing it right!! read more

I got a vanilla latte with cinnamon and it tasted very watered down, almost like they forget the espresso. Went on their first day and the first thing i noticed is parking is a HUGE pain! There are only maybe 6-7 spots for "retail" but they were all full, i turned around in the tiny apartment parking lot and saw some people get into their car so i signaled and waited. Unfortunately these people who got into their car were not in a hurry to leave so i sat there for a few minutes and caused a traffic hold up off maybe 5-6 cars because they couldn't get around me. I finally had to adjust my car and they all went by me giving me the evil eye. I finally get inside and there were no other customers.... so why was the parking so full? I'm assuming the residents were parking there. The girl told me there was street parking around the corner on the side of the apartment complex, but it also literally 100 degrees outside, i probably wouldn't park that far away to get coffee TBH. When i got inside it was really cute! Definitely a place to hang out, go on a date, study, and just relax. They had a guitar in display which may mean they'll eventually have live music? I'm hoping? I got a rose latte which was pretty good. An iced large rose latte cost $5.33 which is decent but not something I would get everyday. They have almond, coconut, and oat milk for extra as well. I asked if they had Splenda and she ran to the back to look but when I tried it, it was sweet enough so i didn't need it. Overall I definitely will be back. It was their first day and they're still getting into the flow of things. But I definitely see this as a great place to grab a coffee and hang out (once this pandemic is over). A++++. This place is so good. First is the ambiance. Quiet, comfortable and bright. It makes me immedately feel creative and happy! Been here before for coffee but got food today- I highly recommend the cheese and jam and the horchata frappe. My hubby got the tuna melt and peppermint whit chocolate. The tuna melt wasn't our favorite but it was good still (we ate it all so that speaks for itself) but I was completely taken with the cheese and jam. Perfectly salty and sweet. Be sure to order a drink or snack in order to get the wifi password (,: My caramel frappe was very sweet, and wish I tasted more coffee, but maybe next time I'll see if I can ask for another shot of espresso to get it to my liking! The seats along the back wall are the only seats (that I know of) that have two outlets with two sockets. They have one bathroom and it's super nice and clean. Really enjoyed the R&B music they played at the store. Overall a great place and I'm glad that I got to try another place other than St*rbucks to get some work done.
